Armed with a Choice Scarf, Kartana becomes a dangerous revenge killer and late-game cleaner thanks to its Attack stat and snowball potential with Beast Boost. Its great Speed tier lets it effectively outspeed many boosted threats such as Garchomp,Mega Gyarados, and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele as well as getting the jump on naturally faster Pokemon such as Weavile, Darkrai, and Ogerpon-W, making it an effective Choice Scarf user. Knock Off lets Kartana remove items from defensive Pokemon such as Corviknight, Toxapex, and Skarmory, which makes them more susceptible to entry hazards from its teammates, and it also hits Galarian Slowking hard. Sacred Sword targets Steel-types such as Heatran, Ferrothorn, and opposing Kartana. Smart Strike is Kartana's strongest Steel-type STAB attack for dealing with Pokemon like Tapu Lele, Iron Valiant, and Dragonite. Defog can be used over Smart Strike to guarantee an emergency Defog for teammates like Mega Charizard-Y, which can be used when predicting a switch or while sacrificing Kartana. Tera Grass elevates Leaf Blade's power to incredible levels, which allows Kartana to snowball with greater ease against weakened teams. Tera Dark can be used instead to give Kartana STAB on Knock Off, which becomes extremely spammable against most netural targets. Kartana fits well on offensive teams, as wallbreakers like Urshifu-R, Garchomp, and Mega Medicham appreciate its ability to revenge kill Pokemon like Tapu Lele, Darkrai, and Ogerpon-W. Kartana struggles against Pokemon like Skarmory and Toxapex due to its inability to break through them, so allies such as Heatran and Tapu Lele can help beat them for Kartana. In return, Kartana can beat down bulky Water-types such as Alomomola for them. Heatran can also set up Stealth Rock for Kartana, which synergizes well with Knock Off's removal of Heavy-Duty Boots from Stealth Rock-weak Pokemon like Zapdos and Tornadus-T. Kartana also struggles to break through Mega Latias because of its bulk and ability to tank most of Kartana's attacks as well as Zapdos because of its typing and ability to OHKO Kartana with Hurricane. Thus, Pursuit support from the likes of Mega Tyranitar and Choice Band Weavile can help in this regard.

Smart Strike is Kartana's strongest STAB option for dealing with Pokemon like Tapu Lele, Iron Valiant, and Dragonite. Defog can instead be used over Smart Strike to guarantee an emergency Defog in a pinch though why would you need to? briefly explain that sometimes u have a mon that dies to rocks but can live and do things if the hazards go away AND is more worth it than keeping kart. Kartana struggles against Pokemon like Skarmory and Corviknight <= theyre essentially the same pokemon, maybe like pex or dnite instead due to its inability to break through them, so Fire-types such as Heatran and Volcarona <= edit this in line with prev comment can help beat them for Kartana. In-turn, Kartana can beat down bulky water-types such as Alomomola for them and Heatran can also get up Stealth Rock for Kartana which synergizes well with Knock Off why? always elaborate (knock boots = rocks profit). Kartana also struggles to break through Mega Latias and Zapdos because of their bulk as well as their ability of being able to retaliate after taking a hit from it, thus Pursuit support from the likes of Mega Tyranitar and Choice Band Weavile can help in this regard of eliminating them for Kartana. u dont have to talk about individual checks line by line, i like to group up defensive checks + offensive checks; this is technically what you did but knowing this means you can add more examples to those lines
