Latios @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psychic
- Surf / Hidden Power [Fire]
- Sleep Talk / Trick / Hidden Power [Fire]

Cobalion @ Leftovers / Rocky Helmet
Ability: Justified
EVs: 144 HP / 112 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Volt Switch
- Iron Head
- Stealth Rock

Alternatives: max HP/spe Cobalion, max def/spe Cobalion, SubToxic Cobalion, SubCM Cobalion, SubSD Cobalion
This core is pretty simple. Choice Specs Latios has a headache with Dark-types like Weavile and Bisharp that can force it out after it KOs something. It is also notable for it's ability to fuck with any Tyranitar who come in against Latios to trap it or dent the switch-in by resisting everything other than Superpower. Cobalion patches up this weakness nicely, with it being one of only two completely consistent counters to Bisharp that sits above the depths of E rank (the other being utility Infernape; if you wanna include E ranks there is also our lord and saviour Poliwrath). In addition to helping out with these, Cobalion provides a few things that help Latios out; firstly, Stealth Rock is helpful for weakening things and taking better advantage of the switches that Latios forces, and it also provides Volt Switch to help get Latios out versus stuff. It's not a slow Volt Switch, but it is still a really nice tool for ensuring that Latios is out against the right stuff. Rocky Helmet is an option over Leftovers because you will often be switching Cobalion into Knock Off, meaning that being able to chip them as you come in on them means that your item slot won't necessarily be wasted. Alternatively, any Substitute-based Cobalion set actively takes advantage of the Dark-types that Latios baits because of its ability to use them as complete setup bait; just make sure that you carry Leftovers on SubTox, SubSD and SubCM!

Hi all! Today I wanna show a core that I like a lot. LOrb Alakazam + Landorus-t. This core is an offensive one, as you can see, and I firstly added Alakazam since I like it in ORAS OU, because it can hit a lot of things in this meta. Firstly, I made it Knock Off since it's the one of the best coverage move that Kazam can have, in my opinion. Removin' the item is important, and it can also help in the longevity of a match; then I thought, that when I added Landorus-t to cover Fast grounds mon, electric ones (landot has yache but u should play around electrics carefully) and dark ones, I thought maybe sub could help, since it can help vs bisharp for example, with sucker mindgames. Anyway, it's a choice. If you ever want to try my core out, you should also care about weavile or electrics as I said, so mons like Keldeo can help in this kind of team! Hope you like this core, really :3. Have fun guys.

Maybe slash Lum/Yache or even Sub/SR on Lando-T, for things like M-Sab? Alternatively, I guess you could slash dgleam on alakazam.

Ye, I've also been thinking about sub lando, for sab's willos and for bisharp. That's a cool idea, thanks bro.

Just wanna say that PhysDef Lando is a really nice alternative for this core because it allows you to get Alakazam in on a slow VoltTurn, which helps vs. more offensive teams that it has a hard time coming in on beyond revenge killing. It also does a much better job at handling things like Mega Lopunny and Talonflame which give Alakazam a headache than offensive variants do.

Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Amoonguss @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Def / 92 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Giga Drain
- Clear Smog
- Spore
- Hidden Power [Fire]

Probably my favourite core to use on balance, TTar Amoonguss. The main problems scarftar has, is keldeo is everywhere, and scarf tar doesn't really dent stall as hard as band tar does. Although when paired with amoonguss its fantastic. Amoonguss beats keldeo, rotom-w, and cb azumarill, all of which destroy scarf tar and force a switch. On the other hand Ttar traps pokemon that beat amoonguss like latios, mega gardevoir, and offensive starmie. While also doing a lot of damage to metagross. HP Fire is used on amoong just to hit scizor because scarf tar just gives mega zor free setup. If you plan on using this core, pair it with a mega scizor counter like Defensive Zard-X.

Kyurem @ Choice Specs

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 224 SpD / 32 Spe
Careful Nature
- Iron Head
- U-turn
- Stealth Rock
- Healing Wish
Choice Specs Kyurem has been rising in popularity recently, and I recall seeing a core posted with Mega Scizor + Kyurem, but not Jirachi, which I thought was odd. Both Mega Scizor and Jirachi actually bring a variety of different positive attributes to the table. Whilst Mega Scizor provides a more reliable wincon thanks to Swords Dance, and also boasts reliable recovery with Roost, Jirachi boasts Stealth Rock, and Healing Wish, 2 great utility moves which can greatly aid a breaker such as Kyurem. In practice the core is relatively simple, Jirachi is able to check Pokemon such as Mega Gardevoir and Latios that may force Kyurem out, whilst luring bulky Ground-types such as Landorus-T, which open up opportunities for Kyurem to come in and fire off Choice Specs boosted attacks. Kyurem has a small amount of defensive utility, and is able to check Pokemon such as Manaphy which can be somewhat threatening to Jirachi.
Crawdaunt @ Life Orb
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Crabhammer

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 20 Atk / 20 SpD / 216 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- Fire Punch
- Toxic
- Substitute
Yet another Jirachi core, this was a core that I had seen Bloo/Infernal use back during the last OU suspect test, and then again during her OLT run. SubToxic Jirachi is a pretty cool, yet vastly under-appreciated Pokemon that I think can act as a pretty cool wincon when facing a variety of bulkier archetypes. Crawdaunt is a good partner because it removes common roadblocks to Jirachi such as Heatran, whilst also luring and Knocking Off the item of Pokemon such as Physically Defensive Skarmory, Rotom-W, or Tangrowth. Ridding the aforementioned Pokemon of their item is great support for SubToxic Jirachi, which lacks the raw power to break through some more physically bulky walls, especially if they are gaining Leftovers recover each turn, or slowly chipping away at Jirachi with Rocky Helmet. Defensively the core also provides a little synergy as well, with Jirachi checking Fairy-types such as Mega Gardevoir and Clefable, as well as Pokemon such as Latios that can threaten Crawdaunt. Choice Band Crawdaunt is a choice over Life Orb + Swords Dance if you desire the immediate power.
Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 4 Def / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Lava Plume
- Toxic
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock / Earth Power

Amoonguss @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 248 HP / 192 Def / 68 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Giga Drain
- Clear Smog
- Spore
- Stun Spore
When searching the archive for this core, I was honestly half expecting to already see it in there, however there is not a single Amoonguss core in the entire current cores section, and only a single one in the updated old cores section: Heatran + Amoonguss + Hippowdon. Hippowdon hasn't been the popular Ground-type in forever, and I think the core of Heatran + Amoonguss works just fine as a standalone core, and doesn't require a 3rd partner. This is basically the classic VenuTran defensive core, but doesn't take up the mega slot, making it more splashable on a variety of balance or bulky offense builds. The core in of itself is pretty simple, Amoonguss checks Water-types such as Keldeo, Rotom-W and Azumarill, whilst also rarely losing momentum, able to switch in and out repeatedly and remain healthy thanks to Regenerator. Heatran checks Fire-types such as Mega Charizard X, Y, and Volcarona. Heatran is running max Speed, which allows it to also check Pokemon such as Mega Heracross and Mega Scizor which Amoonguss may find threatening, however a SpD set can also be run to better check the likes of Latios. Another thing which may be worth note is the fact that this core is very solid against Clefable which can never be a bad thing.

Dumping some more dank

SpDef Rachi + SubCM Keldeo (Balance)
Or, as I like to call it, "How the fuck do I stall this". This set uses a somewhat unconventional set for both of these mons, being SpDef WishProtect Jirachi and SubCM Keldeo. However, these two together on the same Balance team provide so much pressure while sustaining well throughout the course of the match, making sure that pressure never fades away. The point is to switch Jirachi into mons that can beat Keldeo 1v1 such as Mega Gardevoir, Mega Metagross, Amoonguss, Clefable, the Lati twins, etc. while potentially killing some of these, or healing up a teammate as the enemy is forced to switch due to the sheer lack of damage they can deal to Jirachi. Keldeo helps Jirachi in this regard as well, seeing as how it beats Weavile, Bisharp, Zard X (1v1, Keldeo can't switch in to it), Offensive Mega Scizor, and Mega Gyarados, all of which give SpDef Rachi (And Rachi in general) a hard time. All in all this core is really flexible and well rounded, giving it presence on Balance. However, this core IS weak to some things like Offensive Talonflame, Mega Manectric, Thundurus, and LO TornT, so running some mons like Tyranitar, Mega Diancie, or Mega Latias would be great to help these two.

Yo everyone. Im here with a new core ive played around with in the past which is overall really fun to use. my bad if i missed someone post it.

CB Tyranitar + Nidoking Offensive core

+

This is a really neat core for breaking down fat cores. As many of you know Choice banded tyranitar is a fantastic wallbreaker currently because of its outstanding breaking power+ its Ability to pursuit trap things with ease make it a great partner to pokemon that struggle with faster pokemon. Not only this but teams that love weakened defensive pokemon also greatly love cb tars support. For this reason nidoking is makes for a fantastic offensive partner alongside tar because tyranitar weakens things for nidoking to finish off while also enjoying faster pokemon such as the Lati's out of the way. Nidoking+cb tar make for a devastating combination because of kings nice power and coverage and Tyranitars ability to overwhelm things. Of course Nidoking also benefits cb tar thanks to how king can help pressure things in return. Overall this is a great core for crippling defensive cores however it has issues of its own. Because of how both king and tar have less then stellar speed tiers this core struggles with offense. Most notable threats being Low kick weavile and a boosted bisharp. Other notable threats include kyurem-black which forces out both members of this core. Keldeo is another common mon on offense that forces this core out seeing at it outspeeds both and can hit them with a Specs hydro pump. To sum things up dark, water, fighting and certain psychic types can prove to be a issue for this core. Good teammates for this core include Weavile and kyurem-black answers such as bulky mega scizor. Bulky M zor not only is a reliable answer to both pokemon but also can take advantage of a weakened team which king and tar do really well. Threats to Offense are really important to have so Choice scarfed pokemon such as Keldeo and kyurem Black work nicely. If Kyurem black is used Starmie makes a nice partner due to its ability to spin and can check keldeo (if bulky-mi is ran). Answers to Sand offense are required with this core so Rotom-w and Rocky helmet tangrowth are nice additions. surf Latios is also a notable partner because it switches into keldeo while also taking ground types on. To sum things up the best way to use this core is to pair it with pokemon that can handle common threats on offense and or beat those threats. Choice scarf Tyranitar can be used over choice band if you feel CB is not needed.

As of now, this has become one of my favorite bulky cores because of the synnergy they share. Suicune is weak to electric and grass types, to which i have 2 solid resists. Speedy taunt seems like a problem, but most of the taunt users in ou are not very solid against this : ie. heatran, tornadus therian, azelf, talonflame. Landorus therian is a scarfed variant to outspeed and check certain mons, as well as having the niche knock off for bulky psychics like slowbro and getting rid of items such as leftovers in general on things like clef so that they get worn down. Landorus t can pick off mons that zard and cune may have trouble with such as volcanion. Here are the sets i reccomend using together:
Crocune:

Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Calm Mind

Scarf Landorus-Therian

Landorus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Bulky Zard X

Charizard-Mega-X @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws
EVs: 244 HP / 216 Def / 32 SpD / 16 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Roost
- Will-O-Wisp

Reccomended partners to this team:

Alakazam @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Def
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Shadow Ball
- Psyshock

Life orb alakazam really helps this team deal with mons like taunt gengar and tyranitar, ohkoing both, although risking hitting a focus blast.

Lastly, bulky grasses such as amoonguss, Ferrothorn, or tangrowth really help round out this team. They complete the core and take on mons like mega manectric better.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Protect
- Gyro Ball

I hope you try out this core, and if you do, I hope you enjoy it!

Kinda surprised this isn't in there already but w/e; if I skimmed over it by accident mb. Thundurus can be an extremely threatening 'mon if you can get it out against the right stuff, but it's extremely frail as well as being SR weak, and as such it has a difficult time getting in vs. stuff. Landorus-T makes for a nice partner because it provides a slow U-turn while also helping with a few things that give Thundurus trouble such as Excadrill. It also lays Stealth Rock for Thundurus. HP Ice is a nice option on this core (especially if using HP Flying Thundurus) because it allows you to bait out Lando-T who try to come in on Earthquake. In exchange, Thundy deals with various Water-types that give Lando-T trouble such as Keldeo, Slowbro, Slowking and Suicune. It's just a pretty bog-standard slow U-turn+frail breaker core so there isn't really much to explain. Good partners include anything that checks Weavile/Mamoswine and something to deal with Lati@s, and S/Os to Weavile who forms an electric/ice core with Thundy while also benefitting heavily from the slow U-turn. Any other standard offense 'mons work well too; pretty self-explanatory really.

Similar M-Manec + Rock type cores have been posted before but they almost always have T-tar as the rock type of choice. Terrakion accomplishes similar things to T-tar, however Lati's are more likely to switch into Terrakion than T-tar. CB Terrakion helps get problematic pokemon for M-Manectric into range of its HP-ice or T-bolt (ie; Defensive Lando-T, Latio/as, Clefable etc.)- this allows M-Manectric to easily clean up late game. M-Manectric in turn threatens waters, etc that can give Terrakion problems. It's probably best to pair this core with something that can somewhat reliably switch into Latio/as like Azumarill (who also threatens ground types, which can give the core trouble).

Lucario Core Drop

Core 1:
Lucario (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
IVs: 29 HP
- Swords Dance

Landorus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 8 SpA / 248 Spe
Naive Nature
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- U-turn
Description: This is a super fun hyper offensive core that I have been using on a couple of HO builds as of late, most notably the one I just posted in team building competition. The basic premise of the core is that Choice Scarf Landorus-T and Lucario are both super potent cleaners vs offense due to their own individual features and they complement each other pretty well surprisingly. Hidden Power Ice on Scarf Lando-T is a throwback to BW on Lando-T, but it is a legitimately good option when paired with Iron Tail Lucario because it lures in defensive Landorus-T that try to come in on the U-turn, which is PIVOTAL *ba dum crash* to its role in this core, as it clears away one of the biggest ways of stopping a Lucario sweep vs offense while simultaneously giving Lucario free chances to switch in with U-turns on the numerous switches that Lando-T forces. Additionally, Lucario helps out Landorus-T by picking off annoying mons like Keldeo and Rotom-W at +2 that may try to stop Scarfed Lando-T from cleaning offense. Overall, this is a really potent offensive core that can overwhelm opposing offenses really easily that is super fun to use. Since I'm not gonna include a partners section this time around since this core fits into standard HO builds fairly well, but special wallbreakers like Specs Latios and Mega Garde are critical to include with this core to deal with physical tanks and walls for the core, not to mention that they tend to have great offensive synergy with the core.

Other Options: If you are running more of a bulky offensive team, HP Ice Helmet Lando can be used since Lucario absolutely adores hazard support, and it offers a consistent check to several annoying mons like Zard-X and Excadrill, but this core is really intended to be used on hyper offen Double Dance Lando-T is cool too if you want to use it, but you need to use another scarfer for the sake of speed control. Alternatively, this core can run special Lucario to deal with physically defensive blanket checks better for Lando-T, but SD is generally more effective and fits with the overload concept of this core a lot better.

Core 2:
Lucario (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
IVs: 29 HP

Klefki @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 192 HP / 252 SpA / 60 SpD / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Spikes
- Thunder Wave
- Dazzling Gleam
- Flash Cannon
This is another really fun offensive core that I've loved using as of late. Offensive Spiker Klefki is a criminally underrated set (idk who made it but I saw it on forums sometime) that I almost always find myself using over the standard set. Being the only spiker in the entire metagame that sets up spikes on Mega Sableye is really something, especially with Mega Sableye rising back to prominence quite a bit, not to mention that it threatens Mega Diancie out with Flash Cannon, not to mention that it beats the best defogger in the tier, meaning that it gains many different opportunities to spike up, and if you are one of those clowns that are still running Magnet Rise on Klefki, then there's one thing that I have to say to you. Klefki is an excellent partner for Lucario in particular because Spikes chip a ton of mons like Tang, Keld, etc. into Lucario Range, which makes it absolutely a pain to deal with for all sorts of teams, which is really nice. Aside from that, Klefki's more of a utility Pokemon facilitating Lucario's sweep, spreading para for fast normal resists, setting up spikes to chip away at counters, etc. This is a fairly straightforward core otherwise and fairly fun to use.

Other Options: You could run the standard Klefki EV spread if your team ends up needing the extra bulk, but I have already stated why I prefer offensive spiker Klefki over the standard spread. Special Lucario is an option as always, but I personally prefer physical just because it's such a potent wallbreaker and is more effective than special IMO.

Obviously these are more cores that fit well into lucario offenses than actual cores that are meant for people to build around, but I figure that I might as well post these two here as they are super fun to use and surprisingly effective

Gastrodon @ Leftovers

This core is pretty bulky and not easily beaten by defensive teams and is really fun over all.The core is bulky swords dance mega scizor+nasty plot togekiss+gastrodon.First off i would like to state that the core has a very good matchup vs stall due to nasty plot togekiss defeating most kings of pokemon like amoonguss mega sableye. To add onto that it has support heal bell over thunderwave so it can heal off burns from scizor and toxic for gastrodon (note that since my gastrodon is curse set up toxic really minimizes its sweeping potential). The stall overkilling does not end there aswell due to nasty plot, when togekiss has done its job swords dance scizor or curse gastrodon can win depending on the pokemon left.
Offense is a bit harder than stall. My core is designed to take on many common offensive pokemon like mega lopunny, mega metagross, landorus, excadrill, jirachi, raikou, magnezone, mega manetric, and garchomp.Though the team is weak to many wallbreakers like kyurem, medicham, and choice banded dragonite.Going vs offense is going to be not as easy as like stall.Basically my game plan is to predict and gain momentum so over time the opponents team is weakened and is able to be sweeped by one of my three set up users. While doing this try as much as possible to not allow rocks to get up as it makes predicting not as safe since you will be taking damage overtime and will eventually lose. That is also why i recommend you pair this core with hazard controll and hazard users to help et the residual damge going.
Set details. The togekiss set is petty simple and straightforward, heal bell is to support its teammates who may need to sweep later on.80, defense is used to survive two latios psyshocks and two of loppunys returns.Scizor's spread is kinda different from the analysis. The 60 in defense is used for surviving two of loppuny's high jump kicks. The 200 special defense is for living -2 hp fire from a latios, surving mega diancies hp fire, and living fire blast from a clefavle as well as surving a focus blast twice from mega gardevoir. The given gastrodon set is is used to switch into life orb alakazam and mega diancie along with life orb thundurus. The rest of the evs are in defense to be able to tank some physical hits.Storm drain is used to punish waters and helps my teams water type weakness.~corrupti0n

Raikou @ Expert Belt

Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Def

- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunder Wave

This is a fabulous core I discovered when I was building for the second Suspect Test of Sablenite ; firstly, I decided to play Medicham-Mega because we can't play Sableye-mega, which literally counters Medicham (Mega). To help it, I added Raikou because it's a fantastic fast Pokémon permitting to beat or weaken Slowbro (Mega), Tornadus-Therian, Talonflame, Landorus-Therian, Suicune, and many other Pokémons.Volt Switch is used to safely send Medicham-Mega. Finally, I use Thunder Wave to weaken faster threats than Medicham-Mega.
Assault Vest is playable over Expert Belt to handle more easily Life Orb Tornadus-Therian and Pidgeot-Mega.
Thundurus can substitute Raikou too, gaining Prankster.
Ideals Partners:
Specially Defensive Skarmory is a good partner because it can set up Spikes / Stealth Rock, beating by the way Diancie-Mega which slow downs the core with Magic Bounce.
Only if Sableye-Mega remains in OU after the Suspect test.

Azumarill + Power Herb Heatran

Simple offensive core, banded Azu is stopped by both bulky waters and bulky grasses. The first of which, such as Mega-Venu, and Tangrowth, give free switch-ins to Heatran (bar EQ/Sleep Powder) who can proceed to trap them with Magma Storm, and prevent them from healing/sleeping with Taunt. Meanwhile, bulky waters such as Slowbro and Rotom-W are lured by this Heatran set thanks to them being trapped by Magma Storm and then forced to take a Solarbeam afterwards, freeing Azu to power through the opp's team.

Meanwhile, Azu resists or has a primary typing super effective against most of the types that Heatran is weak too. Ground types such as Lando-T, Hippowdon and Garchomp force Heatran out, of whom Azu easily forces out thanks to either Aqua Jet or Play Rough. In addition, Azu muscles past the likes of opposing Heatran, Keldeo, Terrakion and Low Kick Weavile by virtue of its typing.

Other options include a grass type in order to make up a FWG core. Defensive pivots like Amoonguss or Tangrowth are especially useful as they provide switch ins to spammable EQs from the likes of Lando-T as well as being able to consistently come in on volt switches from the likes of Raikou. Other mons like bulky grounds pair pretty well due to providing hazards as well as dealing with the aforementioned threats to the core.

The way this core is put together is to have Venusaur-Mega tank and destroy Suicune's threats such as: Serperior(Attacker), Breloom(Attacker/Physical), Thundurus(Taunt/Attacker), Ferrothorn(Stall), Dragonite(Priority/Physical), a/o Slowbro(Stall)! When those Pokémon are out of the way you go in to set-up Suicune until 4x SpA and 4x SpD and just sweep! It is just as esy as it sounds, usually if somebody lets you setup to 2.5x and all of the threats are gone, they can't really stop you other than hoping you make a mistake! Some other Pokémon that this core goes well with are: Clefable(Magic Guard), Sand Setter, Talonflame(Balanced), Heatran(Air Balloon), Zapdos(Defog), Mamoswine(Maybe), Thundurus, a/o Skarmory! I've tried it and it worked well for me, I hope it does for you too!

Hey there, i'd like to introduce one of my most recent core including Jirachi and Gengar, i came up with that core when i first realized how Gengar could shit on most of the metagame with the nerf of steel-type making Ghost / Poison a great double typing in addition to its large movepools, i always wanted to try Sub WoW Hex Gengar as it used to be a really good breaker being able to beat Gliscor while still luring Scizor / Skarmory with Will-O-Wisp, but this set also makes Gengar a little too passive against Heatran, Weavile and Tyranitar as they can freely pursuit and kill Gengar even with the burn while the later doesn't worry as it can not be burned and so Hex is not going to do that much. That's when i thought about something that could spread statut on most of Gengar's check so i could get rid of Will-O-Wisp and add Focus Blast which allows him to beat these pokemon listed above. Jirachi is a really good support for this Gengar's set as it baits most of its checks in Scizor, Heatran, Skarmory, Landorus-T and paralyze them with Body Slam which makes them all vulnerable since they are now 2HKO'd by Hex. This combo is just fantastic and led me to victory for my battle against Hiye during OLT Round 5. Jirachi's moveset doesn't really matter as long as it has Body Slam and Gengar should have enough bulk to get a free substitute against Clefable as Moonblast might break it. You will also need Sludge Bomb instead of Sludge Wave for these cheap 30% so you can abuse Hex.

Hope you liked and have a nice day :D

Speaking about Hex Gengar, here's a core around it I've used for a bit, mostly during OLT :

Gengar @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hex
- Sludge Bomb / Taunt
- Substitute
- Will-O-Wisp

Serperior @ Leftovers
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 56 HP / 200 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 Spe
- Leaf Storm
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Substitute
- Glare

Hex Gengar is a fun set to play, even though it's not common. The sets in the importable are customisable depending on your preferences/needs.

I won't go too much into details because Leftiez already did, but what I like about that set is that Hex from 0 SpA Leftovers Gengar hits harder than LO Shadow Ball on a status'd mon while having a better bulk and longevity.

I needed something that can stack status while crippling SpD Heatran and Tornadus-T as they are annoyance for Hex Gengar, and thats where Glare Serperior kicks in.

It attracts Tornadus and Heatran like a magnet and can para them on the switch.
With them paralysed, Gengar can outspeed and 2hko AV Tornadus-T and do some damages to SpD Heatran instead of hitting it like a sissy.

As for the teammates, it's advised to put other mons that stack statuts. You also need a good answer to Talonflame and Weavile in particular as they are annoying to deal with for this core.
Clefable for example is a good partner as it can paralyse stuff with Thunder Wave while checking Weavile, Slowbro/Heatran can stack burns with Scald/Lava Plume and check Talonflame..

All in all, it's a fun core to build around.
If that's of interest, the team I built with it was M-Heracross | Hex Gengar | Sub Glare Serperior | TWave SR Clefable | CM Slowbro | Fast Taunt Toxic Heatran. It's kinda slow and weakish to Fast Special Attackers, but it illustrates the concept.

Hope you liked and have a nice day :D

I COULD BE BANNED!
Offensive Gengar + Choice Scarf Keldeo
Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Wave
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Filler Move (Substitute / Will-O-Wisp / Taunt)

Keldeo @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 1 Atk / 30 Def / 30 SpD
- Secret Sword
- Scald
- Hydro Pump
- Filler Move (Icy Wind / Hidden Power [Ghost] / Hidden Power [Electric])

I know a similar core (Gengar + Keldeo + Mega-Aerodactyl) is saved but I think this core permit more flexibility to build.
Gengar is just a huge monster in Oras (boosted by the loss of Ghost-resitance by Steel-types) because this thing has no correct switch-in (exept Chansey but this shit does nothing to Gengar). The best way to beat it is to Pursuit it with things like Tyranitar and Weavile, so I added Choice Scarf Keldeo to beat them.

Posting a few ORAS cores, i'm enjoying the metagame and not yet interested in the S&M meta because i plan on playing the 3DS game first to avoid some spoilers, only play gen 7 on Showdown when tiers are defined, sprites are fixed and when they implement every new mechanic/fix bugs + i want to try out the ORAS meta without Mega Sableye.

Mega Venusaur + Dugtrio
Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 248 HP / 96 Def / 144 SpD / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Synthesis
- Hidden Power Fire

Dugtrio @ Focus Sash
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
IVs: 20 HP / 0 Def
- Earthquake
- Screech
- Reversal
- Rock Tomb

Mega Sableye ended up being banned so you have to find different stall megas, Mega Venusaur is a good option as it's overall bulky and that typing with Thick Fat lets it check the likes of Tangrowth, Keldeo and Non-Psychic Manaphy but a problem is that Mega Venusaur is hard walled by Heatran, that's why you pair it with Dugtrio, send Venusaur against something it walls and then double switch into Dugtrio if they have a Heatran and get rid of it, Dugtrio also eliminates Tyranitar, who sets up sand to reduce Synthesis healing.

+

Mega Lopunny + Zapdos
Lopunny-Mega @ Lopunnite
Ability: Limber
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- Return
- High Jump Kick
- Quick Attack

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure/Static
EVs: 248 HP / 240 Def / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Discharge
- Heat Wave
- Roost
- Defog/Hidden Power Ice

Adamant Lopunny is strong and it lets it take more advantage of Quick Attack but an issue is that it becomes slower than Tornadus-T. Zapdos switches into Tornadus so Adamant is less of a risk and it can also switch into Talonflame that attempt to revenge kill Mega Lopunny with Brave Bird. I've tested 2 teams in the ladder with this core and the matchup against Birdspam hyper offense becomes much more manageable since Adamant Fake Out + Return beats lead Azelf and doesn't let it use Stealth Rock and Zapdos deals with Mega Pinsir very well.

+

Suicune + Jirachi
Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 40 SpD / 216 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Substitute
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Protect

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 224 SpD / 32 Spe
Careful Nature
- Iron Head
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Healing Wish

VinCune is an overall solid set because it's a bulky Calm Mind user that can destroy some teams and bulky Jirachi seems to be a nice partner, it sets Stealth Rock, switches into Jirachi and Lati@s, has Healing Wish if Suicune ends up being statused somehow and cures its hp to max so it can use more Substitutes and it draws in bulky ground types and Heatran, U-turning on the switch and then Suicune can setup against them and succesfully having setup opportunities, especially against Heatran can let Suicune beat the whole opponent's team.
