So I threw together a team in 5 mins because Adaire asked to play some games, and figured I'd try something different than the hyper offensive teams I've seen up until now (of the few games I've looked at). I ended up putting this on, and did not disappoint.

Samurott @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 112 HP / 252 SpA / 144 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Substitute
- Taunt

SubTaunt Otter. I've joked around about it in regular NU but it's much harder to justify when you can't CM/BU to keep your subs reliably. Enter theorymon where you all were nice enough to give it the missing piece. It really does exactly what it seems to, very straightforward. Taunt stuff so it doesn't set up/heal while you're boosting then go to town with disgustingly powerful Scalds. As long as your opponent doesn't pack loads of Water immunities this will do well when as a wincon. Can also throw Scalds out at any point, because Scald is balanced™. Speed is random, for like max speed ada tort or smthn (it reaches 212) but I didn't think through when I made the EVs so just find something out yourselves. :) Max speed probably work too, but some bulk is nice so your sub can survive some attacks before breaking, but feel free to try for yourselves I guess. Shame NU theorymon is so offensive at first glance, because this would be massive vs more defensive teams D:

Electivire + Bolt Strike,
Sandslash + Dark-type

Called it early because these two entries were clear winners and I have a busy day today. Congrats to these guys! Shiftry and Gastrodon have the dubious honor of no votes once again. No bans this week since there was no discussion of any (balanced metagame huehuehue) so we move onto the next slate!

Golurk + Will-O-Wisp
Archeops + Dragon Dance
Armaldo + Skill Link + Pin Missile
Kecleon + Swords Dance
Cryogonal + Base 70 Defense
Whiscash + Simple

You have until Wednesday to discuss these options!

EDIT: I'm changing the last slot because this idea is too good to hold onto until next week.

Impressive slate this time. My thoughts (can't post sprites on my phone)

Will-O-Wisp Golurk

With No Guard you won't have to worry about it missing, although at the moment I'm not sure where it would fit it in. A nice upgrade, but I'm not sure how much that'll do for it.

Dragon Dance Archeops

This thing would be lethal late game, 140 base Attack, 110 Speed, it would be a great sweeper. But finding time to set up would be tricky, and it still frail and susceptible to priority. NU doesn't have too many good physical sweepers right now though, so it will be good. This would push it into S Rank.

Arcehops @ No item
Ability: Defeatist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Acrobatics
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge / Roost

Skill Link + Pin Missile Armaldo

Yay my nomination got in! Skill Link effectively gives Armaldo twin 125 base power STABs in Rock Blast and Pin Missile, with Earthquake rounding out its coverage it becomes very threatening. It could now run a Swords Dance set to wreck stall teams, or a Rock Polish set to clean offensive ones. Its niche over Rhydon is better defensive typing and more powerful STABs.

Armaldo @ Lum Berry / Life Orb
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Pin Missile
- Rock Blast
- Earthquake

What this set could do at +2:
+2 252 Atk Life Orb Armaldo Rock Blast (5 hits) vs. 252 HP / 148+ Def Weezing: 355-430 (106.2 - 128.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 Atk Life Orb Armaldo Rock Blast (5 hits) vs. 252 HP / 208+ Def Mega Audino: 330-395 (80.4 - 96.3%) -- approx. 56.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
+2 252 Atk Life Orb Armaldo Pin Missile (5 hits) vs. 132 HP / 0 Def Sandslash: 485-570 (149.6 - 175.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252 Atk Life Orb Armaldo Pin Missile (5 hits) vs. 252 HP / 244+ Def Gastrodon: 485-570 (113.8 - 133.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Swords Dance Kecleon

The issue is that it's very slow and not especially bulky, so setting up could be tricky. That said, with Return, Drain Punch and Sucker Punch it would have perfect neutral coverage and thanks to Protean it could hit very hard. A good buff, but not anything spectacular IMO.

70 base Defence Cryogonal

It can take physical hits a bit better now, but Ice is still rubbish defensive typing. Besides, many physical attackers in the tier can still force it out regardless. It would be an improvement, but it still wouldn't help it much

Simple Whiscash

Now we're talking. This would make it extremely threatening, as after a Dragon Dance it would have 580 Attack and 480 Speed with a Jolly Nature! It could outrun Scarf Jynx after 1 Dragon Dance if Jolly, and it would pack a hell of a punch. That said, it would still be stopped dead by most Grass types. Still, it's been outclassed for generations so it's nice to give it niche.

Whiscash @ Life Orb
Ability: Simple
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature / Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge / Zen Headbutt

Nominations:

Meganium + Unaware & Fairy typing

Fairy typing brings useful Fighting and Dark resistances with a Bug neutrality. Unaware gives it a vital niche over the likes of Tangela and Vileplume, as it could now wall most bulky boosters and stall them out with Leech Seed and Toxic. It could even counter Shell Smash Omastar.

Munchlax + Slack Off

It makes sense flavour wise - it could even have it as an Egg move from Slowbro. Reliable recovery lets it set up much more easily with Curse, and it could also run a Slack Off + 3 Attacks set. It is still very susceptible to Knock Off though.

Will-O-Wisp Golurk
It doesn't learn this already? Anyway, it's a Will-O-Wisp that will never miss, which is nice, and cripples switch-ins with Knock Off. I feel like it may be better off attacking most of the time, but having the option to cripple something is nice.

Dragon Dance Archeops
140 Attack + 110 Speed + DDance + Dual STAB = GG It's Archy
Like Chrystal said, this will destroy everything late game (especially on hazard teams), making it a very threatening sweeper and wincon, Fortunately for the whole tier, Defeatist + Stealth Rock keeps this from being OP.

Pin Missile Skill Link Armaldo

With a Rock Blast and Pin Missile, Skill Link makes Armaldo very hard to switch into without a Bronzor (which you could run Knock Off for) and makes it a threatening tank. It's type and lack of recovery hold it back a little though.

Swords Dance Kecleon
SD + STAB Shadow Sneak/Sucker Punch is sounding really nice right now. SD + Priority is great and Kecleon is at least specially bulky enough to set up and has Recover and Drain Punch for longevity. It's low Speed and mediocre Attack hold it back, but it's not terrible.

70 Def Cryongonal

This doesn't help. 70/70 Physical bulk isn't the best and given Ice's poor defensive qualities, Cryogonal will still get KO'd pretty early on the physical defensive side. I guess it's actually worth it to run Max HP, Max Def on defensive Recover sets now, but eh.

Simple Whiscash

ALL THE WAY YES. Gives it a powerful niche as after 1 turn, it can wreck everything. It's like Swoobat but better, and I LOVE Swoobat in PU. Plus, it's good defensive typing can give it time to set up. It's just great. HP Grass might become more common because of this, Quag, AND Gastro running around, but who cares if you're setup?

My noms:

Seconding CF's Grass/Fairy Meganium

And nominating Bug/Fairy Illumise + Quiver Dance -
Illumise is outclassed by Volbeat in both PU and NU, so why not make it superior offensively? It gets access to an amazing ability in Tinted Lens, so if it came with a good set up move, then Illumise could actually be worth something. Giving it Quiver Dance let's it set up and hit everything harder. A Fairy-typing gives it STAB Dazzling Gleam, which nothing 4x resists it NU, and gives it a niche over other Quiver Dancers like Vivillon in combination with Tinted Lens

Whiscash + Simple,
Armaldo + Skill Link + Pin Missile

Congratulations to this week's winners! Kecleon was very close to getting second place, and my condolences go to Golurk, Archeops, and Cryogonal for getting no votes. Whiscash got a vote from everyone; I predict this thing is going to be a massive threat between its coverage, good bulk and typing, Waterfall's flinch chance, and its immunity to Wigglytuff's Thunder Wave.

This week's theme is a little bit special: the slate will be comprised entirely of third place entries from the first few rounds of Theorymons! You have until Wednesday 19th October to discuss these.

Lilligant + Earth Power
Rotom-Frost + Ice Beam
Ferroseed + Rapid Spin
Torterra + Shell Smash
Rapidash + Base 115 Speed
Musharna + Recover

Some of these noms are pretty cool., but some of them are pretty... underwhelming.

Lilligant + EPower
This is a cool addition to Lilli's offensive movepool, allowing it to hit Fires harder as well as hit Poison tours which it previously couldn't. However, this gives Lilligant a bit of 4mss - it can either run Epower + Sleep Powder, leaving it walled by Grasses and Bulky Flyings, or it can run Epower + HP Ice which gives it near-perfect coverage but gives it a notably harder time setting up.
It does make Specs way cooler though.

Rotom-F + IB
This is a bit more relible now, but it misses the extra power a little. It's still stopped dead by Lanturn though.

Ferroseed + Rapid Spin

This would be a dream come true in standard, but in the rather offensive meta of
Theorymons it seems a bit lacking in impact. It also creates more 4mss than the little spike ball already has - now it wants to run hazards, Protect, Gyro, Knock, Twave, Leech Seed, and Rapid Spin all in one mon. SR/Gyro/Leech/Spin sounds cool but loses put on the scoutig ability of Protect.

Torterra + Shell Smash

252+ Atk Piloswine Ice Shard vs. -1 0 HP / 4 Def Thick Fat Torterra: 172-208 (51.9 - 62.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
yes pls

Rapidash + More Rapid
A bit more speed makes this more threatening to offensive threats, but it doesn't fix it's main problem - it kills itself too quickly and doesn't do quite enough to make up for that. Pretty cool though.

Musharna + Recover
A rather underwhelming buff, especially in a meta that's primarily offensive as i previously mentioned. It gives Mushy more PP and makes it not defunct under weather, but weather isn't really all that common and it won't often need the extra PP.

Earth Power Lilligant

Now it can hit poison types! Except Weezing...and Vileplume...It's a nice coverage option nonetheless though, as it regularly finds itself walled by Steel types. It will have to either give up Sleep Powder or Hidden Power if it wants to have Earth Power though.

Ice Beam Rotom-F

A reliable Ice STAB will certainly make it more dependable, but it probably won't change that much for the fridge freezer IMO. Still, it would make it more viable as STAB BoltBeam is a damn good USP.

Rapid Spin Ferroseed

Hmmm...not sure about that one personally. Hitmonchan and the newly buffed Sandslash would still be better Spinners, although having something that can set up Spikes and spin is a nice USP, but it would now have major 4mss. Between Thunder Wave, Gyro Ball, Leech Seed, Stealth Rock and Spikes, where would it fit Rapid Spin.

Shell Smash Torterra

Nice to see you back buddy. This move would turn Torterra into a fearsome late game sweeper. After a Shell Smash, you're looking at 464 Speed and 634 Attack - with a Jolly nature! Since it's only weak to the rare Ice Shard, stopping it would be tough. I predict Scarf Jynx would become more common, as it's the only notable Scarfer that can reliably revenge kill Torterra - Primeape doesn't come close to a OHKO if Torterra's using White Herb, Scyther doesn't OHKO if Torterra's at full health. That said, Weezing would still stop it cold, and it would still struggle with bulky Grass types. It could run Hidden Power Ice / Fire, but without Stone Edge it loses to Rotom-S, Scyther and Xatu. Oh it's got Thick Fat now too...this might be too much. You might have to choose one or the other (please choose Shell Smash). Or you could give it Solid Rock instead of Thick Fat.

115 base Speed Rapidash

It can now outrun Tauros, but it still kills itself too quickly and lacks firepower. Ultimately I'd still rather use Tauros, as it offers similar power without the drawbacks.

Recover Musharna

Doesn't really help it much. It does have more PP and isn't gimped under weather, but as cyanize said weather isn't that common anyway.

Nomination

Meganium + Fairy Typing and Unaware. Meganium's been outclassed for...pretty much ever. However, its new Fairy typing brings useful Fighting and Dark resistances with a Bug neutrality. Unaware would give it a vital niche over the likes of Tangela and Vileplume, as it could now wall most bulky boosters and stall them out with Leech Seed and Toxic. It could even counter Shell Smash Omastar.

Take Azelfie

More flags more fun
50-50 on Earth Power is so good meaning I don't have to wait on Garb going down to win. It's really good for getting past one of its biggest roadblocks right now.

Ice Beam Tom is a cool revenge killer but I don't think it's anything more than a minor buff that's only going to effect the Pokemon itself.

Torterra w/ Shell Smash would be pretty dope. Obviously Rock Polish and SD sets get significantly worse, almost to the point of being outclassed. Love to use this in a double smash core with Barbaracle since it could destroy Weezing and Zard.

Rapidash would be cool and I'd predict it turn into a major threat since it peaks about base 110 (what is considered one the highest benchmarks)

My noms:

Articuno + Calm Mind, this can turn it into a really threatening balance and stall breaker when combined with its STABs and Substitute.

Charizard + Acrobatics (lvl up)
This fixed the compatibility issues with DD and gives Dragon Dance sets a good Flying-type STAB now.

Just a quick point for steering discussion: these nominations are made primarily with the existing NU metagame in mind, not the developing theorymons metagame that's playable on the server. You're free to discuss that too of course but make sure you're making it clear which metagame you're talking about when you make your post. Discussion about a theorymon on the current slate in the existing NU metagame is preferred. This is because the full theorymons meta is obviously less played and less competitive. If you want to talk about the theorymons metagame, then keep this discussion to threats already playable in the metagame. Apologies for not making this clear earlier!
