I'm really really happy I won this one, long story short I was pretty upset about losing the last 2 weeks, I was high off of winning swiss and kinda just expected wins of myself and I was upset that I didn't deliver for my team so I'm glad that I could this week and hopefully will the next. The 2v2 meta also feels a bit stale right now, both my opponents brought cinderace whimsicott regidrago in the first 2 weeks, which can only really be countered through your own whimsicott+a partner like naganadel, trick room(with a way to handle whimsicott's encore), or some weird bs like the incineroar mew I brought g1. I even used mental herb cresselia in one of the teams I didn't bring just cause of whimsicott. Whimsicott check whimsicott isn't a meta I wanna play, and I think sooner or later action might have to be taken about it but I'd need to discuss the subject with more people.

My win today(and with life orb earth power diancie) kinda reminds me again why I love this tier so much, being able to come up with new techs to advance the metagame and stop it from getting stale. Here's my team for everyone to use, cause I want to try to further the 2v2 meta as much as I can and I obviously won't reuse the team:

It's zygarde lure victini with a new diancie set meant to handle heatran+naganadel+nihilego+zygarde(you get the ohko with lorb moonblast), pretty standard team overall but I enjoyed making it unlike some other teams.

tldr: 2v2 meta's in a bad place rn but it has been before and meta will either adapt or remove what's needed(cough cough whimsicott) to make it good/fun again.
