Honestly not a big fan of hard switching ghosts on shed because I've seen shed paired with suit mons quite a few times.
Also, moldy offensive gar is kinda eh now unless it's hazard gar on HO.

Buzzwole @ Blue Orb
Ability: Primordial Sea
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Lunge
- Earthquake
- Bulk Up
- Roost

This set handily eats hits from Groudon-Primal, as Hidden Power Ice does no more than 30%, which allows Buzzwole to turn Groudon-Primal into set up fodder.

252+ SpA Groudon-Primal Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Buzzwole: 103-122 (24.6 - 29.1%) -- 99.9% chance to 4HKO
0 Atk Groudon-Primal Precipice Blades vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Buzzwole: 62-73 (14.8 - 17.4%) -- possible 6HKO

+1 0 Atk Buzzwole Earthquake vs. 76 HP / 0 Def Groudon-Primal: 192-226 (53.3 - 62.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

of some description (Ho-Oh) @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 232 HP / 252 Atk / 24 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Fire
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Curse

A counter if no Stealth Rocks and a check otherwise. Ho-oh with this spread can easily switch into any move from this Pdon, avoiding the 3hko from Fire Blast and can heal off any damage with Roost (which thanks to being slower doesn't make you vulnerable to Precipice Blades) and can boost up with Curse until at +2 you ohko pdon, although you have to be careful to do this only when healthy since you take a significant amount of damage from fire blast + recoil + LO. Additionally if they switch out to a Ho-oh counter while you're not at full health Regenerator ensures you remain healthy to switch in later.
Outside of countering this Pdon set, Ho-oh can also provide a solid answer to some of the meta's special fairy types such as Calm Mind Fairyceus and Magearna and provides a solid offensive threat throughout the match to put pressure on bulkier teams.

252+ SpA Groudon-Primal Fire Blast vs. 232 HP / 24 SpD Ho-Oh in Harsh Sunshine: 111-131 (27 - 31.8%) -- guaranteed 4HKO
252+ SpA Groudon-Primal Hidden Power Ice vs. 232 HP / 24 SpD Ho-Oh: 55-65 (13.3 - 15.8%) -- possible 7HKO
252+ Atk Life Orb Ho-Oh Brave Bird vs. 76 HP / 0 Def Groudon-Primal: 187-220 (51.9 - 61.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Ability: Multitype
EVs: 252 HP / 132 Def / 124 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Judgment
- Ice Beam
- Calm Mind
- Recover

Arceus-Ground is a strong check to Primal Groudon thanks to being faster than it prior to Rock Polish boost as well as the ability to tank one Precipice Blades or even a single sun-boosted Fire Blast and can retaliate with a super-effective Judgment.

0 Atk Groudon-Primal Precipice Blades vs. 252 HP / 136+ Def Arceus-Ground: 151-178 (34 - 40%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
252+ SpA Groudon-Primal Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Arceus-Ground in Harsh Sunshine: 282-333 (63.5 - 75%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Earth Plate Arceus-Ground Judgment vs. 76 HP / 0- SpD Groudon-Primal: 368-434 (102.2 - 120.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Entei @ Pinsirite
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 180 Atk / 88 SpD / 240 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Fire
- Return
- Extreme Speed
- Howl

Pinsirite Entei is a solid check to RP Primal Groudon as it can tank two Fire Blasts when mega evolved, retaliate with two Returns, and Extreme Speed to take the kill. If rocks are up on the opposing side, Entei is a counter most of the time. If rocks are up on Entei's side, it can still chip RP don for up to 85%.

0 Atk Groudon-Primal Precipice Blades vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 213-252 (29.8 - 35.2%) -- 20.9% chance to 3HKO
252+ SpA Groudon-Primal Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Blissey in Harsh Sunshine: 192-226 (26.8 - 31.6%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

Also prevents Rocks from Defensive PDon sets which is nice.

EVs: 252 HP/ 40 Def/ 216 SpDef
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Toxic
- Recover
- Haze/Toxic Spikes/ Other Filler
Latiasite Pex is a counter to this Pdon set (and most others bar smack down) on the condition that it has already mega evolved or it doesn't switch in on a ground move. The EVs make fire blast a guaranteed 4HKO without rocks, letting it get up a toxic and wall it till it dies. The extra EVs are in defense to help against things like Lucarionite Rak and most blue orb attackers like golisopod. It also fairs pretty well against most special attackers without supereffective stab, especially Magearna and other fairies. Scald is generally a pretty good move and a nice attack to have so you're not stall bait. Toxic and recover are pretty mandatory for walling and doing damage. The last slot is pretty much whatever you want, Pex has some good options. Haze is really useful so you're not set up bait in a set up heavy meta while toxic spikes are always nice to have down and Pex gets plenty of opportunities to set them.

Calc:
252+ SpA Groudon-Primal Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 216+ SpD Toxapex: 85-101 (27.9 - 33.2%) -- guaranteed 4HKO

There are other mega stones besides red orb btw XD

Blue Orb Golisopod as a solid check to Primal Groudon, being able to consistently switch in and force it out to set Spikes.

0 Atk Groudon-Primal Precipice Blades vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Golisopod: 81-96 (22.8 - 27.1%) -- 45.6% chance to 4HKO
252+ SpA Groudon-Primal Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Golisopod: 0-0 (0 - 0%) -- possibly the worst move ever
252+ SpA Groudon-Primal Hidden Power Ice vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Golisopod: 44-52 (12.4 - 14.6%) -- possible 7HKO
252+ Atk Golisopod Liquidation vs. 180 HP / 0- Def Groudon-Primal in Heavy Rain: 660-780 (170.9 - 202%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Golisopod also checks other Red Orb users like Mew, and does big damage to slower walls like Mandibuzz.

Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic
- Scald / Ice Beam
- Ice Beam / Iron Defense / Calm Mind / whatever u want idk

One of the best counters to Groudon, Slowbro easily beats this set. Since Groudon isn’t boosting its attack Slowbro shrugs off the damage and puts Groudon on a timer. Having Magic Bounce means that Slowbro also completely stops all forms of Groudon except the pretty rare SD (which you can run iron defense for), since don can’t set up rocks or get off a toxic.

252+ SpA Groudon-Primal Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Slowbro in Harsh Sunshine: 131-155 (33.2 - 39.3%) -- 100% chance to 3HKO

Counters this set since no toxic/sword dance(which you can beat if you opt to use Idef), outspeeds not +speed pdon/pogre and wins the 1v1, if you wanna outspeed fullspeed don you need 124 Evs on Spe, if you have altei already covered you can use Arceus-Dragon too since it doesn't lose to meme solar beam/THUNDER variants it can 2hko with its stab and is cooler to use :blobuwu:
also is every week gonna have a fire mon to cover :blobglare:

0 Atk Groudon-Primal Precipice Blades vs. 252 HP / 240+ Def Arceus-Water: 139-165 (31.3 - 37.1%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock

Poison Heal Tapu Fini as a counter
IMG_20191018_172932.png
Tapu Fini @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald/Moonblast
- Taunt
- Calm Mind
- Protect
Poison heal calm mind Fini, counters the shit out of Blacephalon and a whole bunch of other stuff. Fini can run a dozen sets and you can stick Defog or more coverage in the taunt/cm slots if you want. I prefer scald over moonblast for things like Magearna, Cele, steels in general and stuff like Mr Pennywise here. This set is my favorite of Fini's as it can not only be a wall/tank but also a stallbreaker. Taunt+CM breaks through most things not called Toxapex or Unaware Chansey. EVs are super customizable do with them as you wish.

Calcs:
252 SpA Blacephalon Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Tapu Fini: 117-138 (34 - 40.1%) -- 99.9% chance to 4HKO after Poison Heal
