It's not looking good for our heated metal friend here, but I do think there's a way out for him. He eats an unfortunate crit A2 but retaliates with one right back A3. Shame he's ordering first.

Charmeleon should use Flare Blitz a1. Unfortunately for me, Metang is not a Water / Fighting type.

IF Charmeleon uses Counter, use Confusion that action instead.
IF Charmelon uses Endure a1, use Substitute (20 HP) a1 and Earthquake a3.
