In a metagame that has a lot of screens flying around, Laser Focus is a great move to experiment with. Laser Focus causes the next move to be a guaranteed critical hit. This distinction is important since crits bypass screens.

Ability: No Guard
EVs: 16 Atk / 240 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature

- Hurricane
- Return
- Work Up
- Roost

This Pidgeot is a nice lure to special walls. Blissey takes alot more from Return that Hurricane, so it can be a mixed lure. This also lets Pidgeot take on certain Special walls who dont have good defense. This is really fun to use and it may not be good, its definitely a surprise factor.

+1 16 Atk Pidgeot-Mega Return vs. 236 HP / 0 Def Rotom-Heat: 132-156 (44 - 52%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
+1 16 Atk Pidgeot-Mega Return vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blissey: 253-298 (35.4 - 41.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery but Hurricane hits for less

Toxic Mega Pidgeot

Pidgeot @ Pidgeotite
Ability: Big Pecks
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hurricane
- Heat Wave
- Toxic
- Roost

General idea
This Mega Pidgeot can use a 100% accuracy Toxic in order to Poison many checks/counters that resist a STAB Hurricane from a regular Mega Pidgeot. The good thing of Toxic is that this move puts a lot of pressure onto the target, so it has a natural synergy with entry hazards.
You have to drop U-turn, but the moveslots are only 4.

Hazards control and support is fundamental to put in work this set.

You ever just want your Wallbreakers to be FASTER? Well tailwind Mega Pidge is here as an interesting option for that. Perfect if you have a Heracross, SD Haxorus, Nidoking, Hoopa, etc. with a need for speed. Just come in on some poor grass that Pidge scares off and you'll see your mons zipping around in no time, and make sure to use your U-turn to safely get them in right away!

Actually submitting my own before I put up voting phase:

- Mimic

Mimic is a neat tech that allows you to possible learn a coverage move on a game by game basis. It's really situational, and requires alot of prediction to utilize properly, but it can pay off. You can "learn" things like Focus Blast, Vacuum Wave, Psyshock, etc. which can help you vs the opponents team in some scenarios. Overall, kinda situational, but it can be clutch can save your butt in some games.

Alright, with that out of the way, voting is now up!

cm xatu is something ive messed w on a semi stall build awhile back, Toxic makes Xatu more useful generally against Dragons with the chip damage. Heat Wave lets Xatu smack the steels. No psyshock can suck but you can bluff the psychic STAB by default typically

Xatu @ Leftovers / Colbur Berry
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Roost
- Stored Power
- Heat Wave / Giga Drain / Dazzling Gleam

This xatu offers a bulky win con vs bulkier teams and stall that fits well on balance/stall teams, while still offering a bulky magic bounce user. Stored power lets it break through unaware users, and beat opposing calm minders such as suicune, slowbro, reuniclus and latias (though it needs to watch out for the gigavolt, but you should be starting with 1 more calm mind then it), and become rapidly more powerful, stronger than psychic after just 2 calm minds, and as strong as 2 psychics after 4 calm minds.

This set can be fairly unstoppable for defensive balance and stall teams that are unprepared for it, as the only way to stop it is by directly killing it, so stall teams can't toxic stall you out thanks to magic bounce, and balance teams can't whirlwind / roar you.

Fourth move is fairly customisable, heat wave lets it OHKO scizor and deal higher damage to aggron/steelix (though these two can't hurt xatu so badly), dazzling gleam + colbur berry allows it to beat hydreigon, and giga drain allows it to beat haze quagsire. Colbur is also nice on other sets for pursuit users.

Xatu @ Colbur Berry/Leftovers
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- U-turn
- Night Shade/Toxic
- Wish
- Roost/Protect
This Xatu can provide a weird spin on clerics for momentum-reliant teams by being a slow U-turner that can also pass wishes. Night Shade is a consistent damage option overall but toxic can provide more disruption against bulkier mons. Roost lets you heal yourself on the spot and save wishes but protect can be used to help mindgame choiced pokemon like Terrakion and Krookodile and scout moves in general. Colbur is the more recommended on non-protect variants to account for pursuit users. The overall idea of this set is to wish and use U-turn to make sure the wish recipient gets in safely as well as account for double switches, making it feel like much less of a momentum suck than other Wish users. Magic Bounce deflecting status and hazards can also help it fill the weird momentum support role on teams that do a lot of pivoting in addition to the Wish/U-turn combo.

Flame Orb + Psycho Shift Xatu

Xatu @ Flame Orb
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 24 Def / 232 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Night Shade
- Roost
- U-turn
- Psycho Shift

General idea

The idea is to cripple the opposing physical not-Fire type with the burn, thus halving its attacking power while putting a slow timer onto it.
Xatu doesn't have Will-O-Wisp, so it is not possible to cut the Atk of the opposing threat immediately, but Magic Bounce allows Xatu to enter into many status moves such as detreimental status and hazards. Otherwise, you can simply enter onto a threat slower than our beloved Xatu and kill something with the attacking move.
Night Shade+U-turn is preferred to Cosmic Power/Calm Mind + Stored Power because the momentum gained through U-turn is too good to pass up and Night Shade doesn't require EVs investment.

EVs (spread) and item
The EVs are pretty basic and are meant for a fast(ish) and bulky set: 232 Spe+ allows Xatu to reach 312 points, enough to outspeed Krookodile (https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/usum-uu-speedlist.3591824/). The Spe is crucial in order to connect a fast Psycho Shift and allows to get some unexpected KOs. The remaining 24 EVs are put into Def.
Some calcs to show the bulk obtained with burn support:
+3 252+ Atk Pixilate burned Altaria-Mega Return vs. 252 HP / 24 Def Xatu: 314-370 (94 - 110.7%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO

0 Atk burned Chesnaught Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 24 Def Xatu: 44-52 (13.1 - 15.5%) -- possible 7HKO
0 Atk burned Bronzong Gyro Ball (123 BP) vs. 252 HP / 24 Def Xatu: 78-92 (23.3 - 27.5%) -- 71.2% chance to 4HKO

+2 252 Atk Life Orb burned Toxicroak Gunk Shot vs. 252 HP / 24 Def Xatu: 286-337 (85.6 - 100.8%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO
+2 252 Atk burned Barbaracle Stone Edge vs. 252 HP / 24 Def Xatu: 364-430 (108.9 - 128.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 Atk burned Mandibuzz Foul Play vs. 252 HP / 24 Def Xatu: 105-124 (31.4 - 37.1%) -- 82% chance to 3HKO
252 Atk burned Sandslash-Alola Icicle Crash vs. 252 HP / 24 Def Xatu: 151-178 (45.2 - 53.2%) -- 34.4% chance to 2HKO
0- Atk burned Umbreon Foul Play vs. 252 HP / 24 Def Xatu: 105-124 (31.4 - 37.1%) -- 82% chance to 3HKO (we can easily PP stall Heal Bell)

Team(mates) support
Something to, at least, weaken Dark and Fire-type pokemons is recommended (such as Houndoom).
Hazards support in the form of SR is mandatory to weaken the opposing threat until they reach 300 or 200 or 100 HP points in order to use one less Night Shade to KO the opponent.
