Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Toxic
- Protect
- Heal Block
- Psywave

Back in ORAS, Heal Block Bronzong was one of the best counter to CM Florges. Although CM Florges isn't thing anymore, Bronzong can still bother a lot of Pokemon like Blissey, Alomomola, Quagsire, Mega Altaria, Sylveon etc... Because they will not be able to heal themself. Toxic is great way to cripple opponent's Pokemon and paired well with Heal Block. Protect allows Bronzong to stall even more and to get a little bit of extra passive recovery. Last but not least, Psywave allows Bronzong to inflict 50-150 PV to the opponent's Pokemon which is quite a lot considering they can't gain health back.

reserving banded

Bronzong @ Choice Band
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Toxic / Zen Headbutt / Trick

this is a bad metagross right? No. Metagross doesn't have a meaty gyro ball and crappy speed to go along with it. 2HKOs alot of things after rocks, including Mandibuzz with slide, Metagross (heh) with EQ, demolishes Linoone w/ Gyro without any hazards, and every scarfer doesn't like coming in on a banded Gyro. Toxic snipes stuff that would be invited in, such as Milotic and MBlastoise. Zen is another option that 2HKOs blastoise after rocks.

EDIT: turns out, my brain is choice-locked into stupidity. I mentioned nothing but RU mons.

EQ snipes Empoleon, Cobalion, MAggron, and other Steels for good damage. Gyro shreds faster, steel neutral or weak mons like Altaria, Latias, Celebi, Hydreigon, etc. Rock Slide nails Moltres and Heattom for solid damage or outright kills them. Toxic allows Brong to cripple things like Primarina, Hippowdon, Alomomola, etc. Zen Headbutt hits Amoongus and Kommo-o for good damage. Finally, Trick acts as an option to cripple walls like Gligar, Empoleon, and Klefki by removing their item and giving them a choice band.

Sorry for the RU description, I saw the bell and thought "oh this is def RU and def NOT UU even thought the project says UU NEXT BEST THING.

Bronzong @ Life Orb
Ability: Heatproof / Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Gyro Ball
- Earthquake
- Explosion

The heatest of Bronzong sets, offensive OTR Bronzong. We using Heatproof to set-up on some of these fire types or just straight up kill them. It even eats a +2 Fire Blast from Ape at full then kills with EQ. Otherwise Levitate is fine for like Mamo or something. Trick Room gives it the oppurtunity to fear very little of being revenged, giving it ample oppurtunuties to spam Gyro Ball and bop stuff. EQ is great coverage for hitting things like Empoleon and Tentacruel. Then ofc we have Boom where something just dies.

+2 252 SpA Infernape Fire Blast vs. 248 HP / 8 SpD Heatproof Bronzong: 270-320 (80.1 - 94.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252+ Atk Life Orb Bronzong Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Infernape: 317-374 (108.1 - 127.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Life Orb Bronzong Gyro Ball (112 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Altaria-Mega: 374-439 (128.5 - 150.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Life Orb Bronzong Gyro Ball (150 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Hydreigon: 296-348 (91 - 107%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Life Orb Bronzong Explosion vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Moltres: 328-386 (102.1 - 120.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ Atk Life Orb Bronzong Explosion vs. 236 HP / 0 Def Rotom-Heat: 283-334 (94.3 - 111.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

252+ Atk Life Orb Bronzong Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 112 Def Tentacruel: 294-346 (80.7 - 95%) -- 50% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery

Never saw a Rotom trying to run before but here it is

Bronzong @ Expert Belt
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Atk / 164 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball
- Stealth Rock

Comon checks to Bronzong now are Rotom-H, Moltres, Empoleon or such. Mostly Pokémon that can either defog easily on it thanks to their typing or their Toxic immunity. That's where this set kicks in. You can lure them pretty easily, forcing them to chose either to Defog and die or try to Defog later on. Running HpFire can be a thing if you're also willing to lure Scizor and avoiding being a bon toutou letting it setup.
Spread is made to optimize its using at best :
  • You can 2HKO Empoleon with Earthquake
  • You can 2HKO Rotom-H with a huge chance of not activating its Iapapa Berry
  • You can still take some good hits with a strong SpDef investment
  • Moltres is almost always an OHKO (82% chance)
Those are the most representativ results my set can bring in. But as you can see in the calcs, it can make use of its set to lure properly almost all of his counters and checks :

Calcs on defensiv checks and counters :
88+ Atk Expert Belt Bronzong Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 76 Def Empoleon: 194-230 (52.1 - 61.8%) -- 97.7% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
88+ Atk Expert Belt Bronzong Rock Slide vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Moltres: 312-370 (97.1 - 115.2%) -- 81.3% chance to OHKO
88+ Atk Expert Belt Bronzong Rock Slide vs. 240 HP / 0 Def Rotom-Heat: 134-161 (44.5 - 53.4%) -- 28.1% chance to 2HKO
88+ Atk Expert Belt Bronzong Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 112 Def Tentacruel: 230-274 (63.1 - 75.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery

Calcs on offensiv checks :
0 SpA Expert Belt Bronzong Hidden Power Fire vs. 156 HP / 0 SpD Scizor: 206-245 (64.3 - 76.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
88+ Atk Expert Belt Bronzong Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Cobalion: 154-182 (47.6 - 56.3%) -- 83.2% chance to 2HKO

Screens Bronzong with Light Clay

Bronzong @ Light Clay
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
IVs: 0 Spe
Sassy Nature
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Gyro Ball
- Psywave

Here we have a solid dual screens setter, so the combination of Reflect + Light Screen is a "must have".
Light Screen is mandatory alongside these two moves because it allows us to support really well our teammates.
Unlickily, Bronzong doesn't learn U-turn or Volt Switch and Explosion, while strong, wastes its defensive capabilities. We are also stripped for moveslots, so no Explosion.
Gyro Ball + Psywave are here to dish out some really nice damage while being under a screen or two. This is the reason why this Bronzong can work even as a standalone beater.

Wish support is a good thing to have because we have no ways to recover our health when lost.

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm nature
- Hypnosis
- Iron defense
- Calm mind
- Psywave

This set is very simple and similar to the infamous CroCune: Use hypnosis (shaky accuracy but bronzong has enough bulk to miss once) and then stockpile defenses. When you have enough so that the opponent is doing less damage than the leftovers heal, hit them with a +6 psywave and proceed to sweep through your incredulous opponent’s team!

Asshole Bronzong (Bronzong) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 100 Def / 152 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Protect
- Gyro Ball

As this set applies it's main goal is to make you go insane. Its bulk plus decent matchup with in the tier allows this set to potentially work on stall as a anti latias / bulky scizor set.

Bronzong @ Mental Herb
Ability: Heatproof
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Explosion
- Stealth Rock
- Imprison/Trick Room
- Gyro Ball
Suicide lead Bronzong, it's meant to 1v1 Azelf and Froslass, blocking taunts with Mental Herb and either getting up rocks successfully or using imprison to lock Azelf specifically out of it's own rocks. It can easily whack either mon to death afterward if it so wishes, and it can boom to make sure it itself doesn't stay around long enough to get it's rocks defogged. Trick Room is also an option if your team benefits from it.
