After 4 weeks and 32 people qualifying, we've reached the playoffs phase of the NDLT! As a reminder, seeding was done with ELO being the main factor, and tiebreakers being settled by week qualified and then a Best-of-3 series if the tie occurred in the same week. Here are the current seeds:

  • The 2023 National Dex Circuit information can be found here.
  • Best of three, single elimination.
  • This tournament will use the standard National Dex ban list, which can be found here.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect in the subsequent round.
  • Battles must take place on Pokemon Showdown! or the SmogTours server
  • Sw/Sh cartridge win conditions are in place; there are no ties.
  • A list of National Dex specific mechanics can be found here.

more 50/50 on this one but gewwge has been bringing some spicier builds imo

[55] hi.naming is hard vs Xurkiyee [45] - big fan of what gewwge is doing in SV so far this gen. one of the best solo tour players and i dont expect him to stop. xurk has some crazy builds and is a great player to boot, so he very well could take this. bolding gewwge because he has the hot hand, makes my loss look better too.
[51] Kayzn vs Weaselfie [49] - weas has put out some statement wins so far this tourney which i can really respect, but the PugGod is on a roll right now and i dont know if he'll be denied this crown. i expect a great series but weas might get passed Kee Berry cress by oc into msab u never know

hopefully 6 banger games, rooting for my friend Kayzn to win it all!
