Ubers Nasty Plot Chi-Yu [QC: 2/2] [GP 1/1]

:sv/chi-yu:
[SET]
name: Nasty Plot
move 1: Overheat
move 2: Flamethrower
move 3: Dark Pulse
move 4: Nasty Plot
item: Life Orb / Heavy-Duty Boots
ability: Beads of Ruin
nature: Modest
evs: 4 Def / 252 Spa / 252 Spe
tera type: Fire

[SET COMMENTS]
  • Nasty Plot Chi-Yu can threaten to KO foes it couldn't otherwise, such as Ting-Lu and Blissey. Overheat hits extremely hard and threatens to OHKO Ting-Lu at +2. Flamethrower is valuable for its perfect accuracy.
  • A Modest nature alongside Life Orb lets Chi-Yu OHKO Ting-Lu at +2. Heavy-Duty Boots can be used instead to give Chi-Yu more opportunities to switch in, but the loss of power is notable.
  • Chi-Yu fits best on offensive teams with Pokemon such as Cyclizar and Grimmsnarl that can facilitate its setup. Sticky Web support from Masquerain is also useful, as it lets Chi-Yu outrun Pokemon like Koraidon and Miraidon and KO them at +2.
  • Chi-Yu's best partner is Koraidon, since it sets up sun, can safely bring Chi-Yu into play with U-turn, and threatens Blissey. Other good partners are special attackers that benefit from special walls being neutered by Chi-Yu, such as Miraidon, Flutter Mane, and Gholdengo. Great Tusk is also greatly appreciated, as it can remove Stealth Rock and threatens Blissey and Ting-Lu for Chi-Yu. Chi-Yu can deal with Corviknight and Dondozo in return.

  • Nasty Plot Chi-Yu is a wallbreaker, suited best in Offensive structures that love its breaking capabilities. Specially if said teams have a Cyclizar or Screens that facilitate its set up.
I think you can probably fix this up to include partners that can help it set-up, since you already wrote down Cyclizar. Grimmsnarl can set screens up for it, etc.

You might also want to mention webs as a playstyle. Think this fits very well there, since you don't need to keep find multiple ways to set-up.

let me know once implemented

while outspeeding great tusk might look as something appealing, the sole purpose of this set is to OHKO ting-lu at +2 with modest overheat. because of this, i would delete all mentions of timid and just concentrate purely on modest and what it accomplishes.

thats all honestly. this has good information. let me know if you decide to implement what i proposed or if you disagree.

Darkpulse
Dark Pulse
this set has a key difference to specs and that is Nasty Plot that allows it to threaten some KOs on mons it cant with regular Specs
this should be on another bullet point if anything
Pokemon that can help Chi-Yu are lures to its few checks to let it stomp the opposing team(...)
woule remove bundle mention and add something else, ill let you decide

  • Overheat hits extremely hard and can 2HKO the bulkiest of Pokemon threaten to OHKO Ting-Lu at +2. Flamethrower and Dark Pulse are to safely get damage on your oponent valuable for their perfect accuracy. (RC) this set has a key difference to specs and that is (fluff) Nasty Plot that allows it Chi-Yu to threaten some to KO on mons foes it can't with regular its Choice Specs variant, such as Ting-Lu and Blissey. (I assumed this is what you wanted to say. Move this sentence as your first bullet point, this is the key point of the whole set).
  • Unlike Choice Specs Nasty Plot allows Chi-Yu to turn the 2HKOs to OHKOs, this without the help of Sun. This set specializes in removing the Special Defensive Walls on the opposing team, these being Ting-Lu and Blissey. (fluff + already said above)
  • A Modest nature alongside Life Orb let Chi-Yu OHKO Ting-Lu at +2. Heavy-Duty Boots can be used instead to give Chi-Yu way more opportunities to switch in, but the loss in power is notable.
  • Nasty Plot Chi-Yu is a wallbreaker, suited best in Offensive structures that love its breaking capabilities. Specially if said Chi-Yu suits best in offensive teams have a with Cyclizar or Grimsnarl Screens Grimmsnarl (it has 2 m, also since it has a single set, it's not useful to indicate it setups screens.) that facilitate its set up. Also, Sticky Webs aids lets Chi-Yu by making faster outrun Pokemon (always capitalize Pokemon) like Koraidon and Miraidon to be slower and allowing it to KO them at +2.
  • Pokemon that can help Chi-Yu are lures to its few checks to let it stomp the opposing team. It's Chi-Yu's best partner being is Koraidon since it sets up the sun, (AC) and allows easy access to Chi-Yu with U-turn, and threatens Blissey. Other good partners are more special attackers that benefit from the special walls being neutered by Chi-Yu, (RS) (AC) such as Miraidon, Iron Bundle, Flutter Mane, and Gholdengo. among others. (fluff) Great Tusk is also greatly appreciated, as it can remove Stealth Rock and threatens Blissey and Ting-Lu for Chi-Yu, and Chi-Yu can deal with Corviknight and Dondozo in return.
