Time for some well needed Ubers, and yes I will be subbing the lot of them.

:sm/solgaleo:
Pokémon: Solgaleo
Niche: [SM Ubers] Choice Scarf user, Offensive Pivot
Stats: 137 HP / 113 Atk / 63 Def / 89 SpA / 59 SpD / 97 Spe
Type:

Abilities: Full Metal Body*
New Moves: Parting Shot, Ice Fang
Removed Moves: Morning Sun
Custom Elements: Full Metal Body - Flower Veil for Steel types, cannot be ignored by Mold Breaker.
Solgolum Z - Boosts the power of Sunsteel Strike by 25 BP. Can't be knocked off.
Descriptions: Solgaleo is primarily a good offensive pivot, 137 / 63 / 59 bulk is meh but good enough for pivoting into resisted hits multiple times throughout a match. It soft checks multiple Pokémon like Defensive Dragalge, Tyrantrum, Sliggoo and Musharna.

:sm/necrozma-dawn-wings:
Pokémon: Necrozma-Dawn-Wings
Niche: [SM Ubers] Specs Wallbreaker
Stats: 97 HP / 73 Atk / 71 Def / 137 SpA / 113 SpD / 77 Spe
Type:

Abilities: Prism Armor
New Moves: Roost, Will-O-Wisp
Removed Moves: N/A
Custom Effects: Moongeist Beam - 90 BP
Descriptions: Necrozma-Dawn-Wings can slap on a Specs and try can bust past a bunch of walls with its really strong dual STABs, just really really pray the opponent lacks a Dark type.

:ss/pheromosa:
Pokémon: Pheromosa
Niche: [SS Ubers] Offensive Pivot
Stats: 73 HP / 91 Atk / 37 Def / 89 SpA / 37 SpD / 151 Spe
Type:

Abilities: Beast Boost
New Moves: N/A
Removed Moves: Quiver Dance, Triple Axel, Drill Run, Close Combat
Descriptions: I am officially setting a hard limit to the tier's speed ceiling. Pheromosa serves as the primiere form of speed control, while axing key forms of coverage that would make it harder to break (removing Axel so it has to go mixed to use Ice coverage, Drill Run so Poison types consistently hardwall it and Close Combat so it has to rely on the haxier HJK) and removing QD because somehow QD is viable on such a frail Pokemon and busts like every physical check. The big nerf to it's offenses badically mean it can't do anything to walls or heavy defensive Pokemon, but it can still easily revenge kill stuff on offense. Its much lower offenses make it so that it can't turn Beast Boost into Moxie.

:sm/sandslash-alola:
Pokémon: Sandslash-Alola
Niche: [SM PU] Weather Sweeper
Stats: 75 HP / 110 Atk / 125 Def / 25 SpA / 70 SpD / 75 Spe
Type:

Abilities: Snow Cloak | HA: Slush Rush
New Moves: Superpower
Removed Moves: Triple Axel
Descriptions: Sandslash-Alola partners with Articuno to form a great weather core that breaks teams and clean up, as 75 speed under Hail outpaces a ton of tge metagame, and Ice STAB is a hell of a drug.

:sm/marshadow:
Pokémon: Marshadow
Niche: [SS Ubers] Offensive Wallbreaker (Physical or Special)
Stats: 90 HP / 95 Atk / 80 Def / 90 SpA / 90 SpD / 90 Spe
Type:

Abilities: Technician
New Moves: Hidden Force - Hidden Power clone
Removed Moves: N/A
Descriptions: Cool offensive breaker, utilizing its stunning STAB neutral coverage, it can go physical or special due to its statline, as both Bulk Up and Calm Mind are valid options to be ran. Now that its offensive stats are heavily reigned in, Marshadow can be a more balanced offensive presence.

:ss/pyukumuku:
Pokémon: Pyukumuka
Niche: [SS OU] Unaware Wall
Stats: 55 HP / 60 Atk / 130 Def / 30 SpA / 130 SpD / 5 Spe
Type:

Abilities: Innards Out | HA: Unaware
New Moves: Parting Shot, Corrosive Gas, Haze, Magic Coat
Removed Moves: N/A
Descriptions: Wall.

:ss/raticate-alola:
Pokémon: Raticate-Alola
Niche: [SM PU] Physical Wallbreaker
Stats: 80 HP / 86 Atk / 70 Def / 40 SpA / 80 SpD / 87 Spe
Type:

Abilities: Thick Fat / Gluttony | HA: Hustle
New Moves: N/A
Removed Moves: N/A
Descriptions: WIP.

:ss/togedemaru:
Pokémon: Togedemaru
Niche: [SS PU] Choice Scarf, Wish Passer
Stats: 85 HP / 98 Atk / 73 Def / 40 SpA / 83 SpD / 96 Spe

Pokémon: Golem-Alola
Niche: SM OU - Magnet Pull trapper
Stats: 80 / 125 / 110 / 85 / 74 / 75 (+5 Atk, -20 Def, +30 SpA, +9 SpDef, +30 Spe)
Type:
Rock
Electric

Abilities: Magnet Pull
New Moves: Ice Punch, Overcharge
Removed Moves:

Description
: Alolan-Golem (a.k.a. Mario) used to have a small niche in OU, as it had better coverage than Magnezone to hit Steel-types with (Fire Punch - Fire Blast, Eq, Superpower). Though we don’t have that many currently, I have faith that more steels will get added, justifying its presence in the mod. It was forced to run Choice Scarf to compensate for its terrible speed, so I improved it, but lowered its physical bulk as it was never really used. Better SpA and movepool additions give it a bit more flexibility, as it usually becomes more of a liability once steels are dead; it can now use Volt Switch to pivot, Ice Punch to threaten Lando and Flygon (which are its worst nightmares) if it runs scarf, and Overcharge which actually fits its use of explosion, allows it to deal big damage and give a free switch once its job is done. It’s also a cool nudge towards its galvanize sets.

Pokémon: Vikavolt
Niche: SM NU - Special Wallbreaker
Stats: 97 / 70 / 90 / 140 / 75 / 53 (+20 HP, -5 SpA, +10 Spe)
Type:
Bug
Electric

Abilities: Stubborn*
New Moves: Chill Burst
Removed Moves:
Custom Elements: Stubborn*: Built-in metronome effect.

Description: Since I can't sub my best boi Charjabug out of good faith, I'll have to settle for its evo... Vikavolt used to run a Metronome set to beat stall: to emulate that, I gave it an ability to replace it (god knows we have enough levitate users already), which means it can still run HDB, specs or LO to break even more. Stubborn allows it to eventually break through SpDef walls that can’t put immediate pressure on it with a SE hit, like Munchlax, Sliggoo, Haryiama, and other slow fat mons. It’s not hard walled by grounds thanks to Chill Burst and Energy Ball.

Pokémon: Charjabug (no eviolite)
Niche: SS NFE - Defensive webs setter, Physical Wall
Stats: 67 / 82 / 135 / 55 / 85 / 46 (+10 HP, +40 Def, +10 SpDef, +10 Spe)
Type:
Bug
Fire

Abilities: Thread Bite*
New Moves: Heal Order, Flare Blitz, Fire Fang, U-Turn, Leech Life
Removed Moves: Discharge, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch
Custom Elements: Thread Bite* : when this pokemon makes contact with an opponent, lower its speed by 1 stage.

Description: A web setter with good defensive utility. I changed its typing to fire so it’s not redundant with my Vikavolt sub, and I chose Fire because it provides a unique panel of resistances when coupled with Bug (having a great mu versus Mawile, Fighting types without rock moves, and fairies) and because we have no fully defensive fire mon. I added some stuff to its barren movepool, notably U-turn to maintain its ability to slowly pivot, and Heal Order for recovery. Its new talent reflects its Speed Control role, allowing it to pivot after an attack from a fast threat, lower its speed, and bring in something to revenge kill it.

Pokémon: Mimikyu
Niche: [USUM 1v1] Speed Trapper + Z Hybrid (modified to an Offensive Trapper for 6v6)
Stats: 90 / 110 / 80 / 50 / 105 / 96 [BST: 531]
Type:

Ability: Disguise
New Moves: Spirit Break, Spirit Shackle
Removed Moves: Bulk Up, Swords Dance

Description: Mimikyu's offensive speed trapper sets were some of its most used prior to its ban, utilizing Curse + Protect + Sub to beat nearly anything it could outrun and either Ghostium Z or Mimikium Z to break faster attackers. Such a role is nearly impossible to recreate in a 6v6 format, but combining normal trapping and offensive capabilities allows it to play in a similar way. Its unresisted dual STAB allows it to use its other two moveslots on options to exploit mons that it's trapped with Spirit Shackle, like Toxic, Taunt, or Pain Split. Spirit Break is less damaging than Play Rough, but is very effective against trapped physical attackers, in a similar vein to 1v1's Charm set.

Voting starts now and will last until 15th march, on 4pm (GMT+1)

easy copypasta said:
It's time to vote now! There is an extended explanation for the Voting rules below, but I'll provide you a TL;DR version.
  • Vote for a maximum of 8 submission (you can vote for less, but 8 is recommended)
  • 2 Self Votes are allowed but they can't be 1st place and one of them can't be 3rd place
  • Specify which sub you are voting for! Either by mentioning its niche or submitter (Votes that don't follow this rule won't be counted)

Voting is pretty easy to understand. You have to vote for 8 Pokemon (more or less votes will not count) and they have to be ordered (meaning the 1st place has more points than the 8th place) and Self Votes are allowed, but they can't be 1st place and you can only vote for yourself 2 times. When voting for a Pokemon, you should also mention its niche, cause this makes it clearer when a Pokemon has been subbed more than once. If there are two subs which cover the same Pokemon and the same Niche, then mention the name of the submitter as well.

Descriptions: Arqaunid acts as our tier’s first webs setter. I gave araquanid U-Turn so it can keep offensive momentum against defoggers for its teammates, aquajet gives it a better MU against offense, and taunt let’s it deny defoggers so it can set Webs better. It’s defensive typing and special defense let’s it come in on threats like Keldeo, Landorus, Greninja etc and use those opportunities to attack or set webs. I buffed it’s physical defense and attack so it can fair better against the tier. and it’s speed so it can outspeed max speed rhyperior.

Ability: Electric Surge
Types: Electric/Fairy
New Move: Ice Fang
Removed Moves: Discharge, Calm Mind, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Dazzling Gleam, Grass Knot, Light Screen, Reflect
Custom Item: Kokonium Z - Electrium Z but just for Tapu Koko
Justification: I had to put in some work to make sure this didn’t overshadow the other Electric types, but I think I worked it out. I took Tapu Koko’s special stat and movepool and threw it out the window, along with screens for good measure. I also gave it a speed stat that’s more representative of fast Pokémon within this mod. I then gave it Ice Fang to replace Hidden Power Ice and a custom Z Crystal with the purpose of making a physical Electric mon viable. Your other two moveslots will be filled by U-Turn to run from bulky Ground types and set up Electric Terrain later as well as the option between Roost or Taunt, depending on what you want this to act as. You don't have use for Fairy type for damage but it allows for safer switches into Dragon moves, among others.

This slate has given us more type variety, which is really appreciated. We will again do a little break before we start with Gen 8, so be sure to prepare some subs for our last slate. (Note: Galarian formes count for this slate)

Lastly, here's something else you can submit...

We have representatives for Mega Evolutions (:manectric::mawile:) and Z-Moves (:greninja::tapu-koko::solgaleo:), therefore we could do representatives for Dynamax. However, it won't be Dynamax as the broken mechanic we know it. Only Gen 8 Pokemon with Gigantamax formes will be able to use the altered Dynamax mechanic. G-Max moves of the altered Pokemon can be changed and also Dynamax mechanics have to nerfed as well, obviously. Be creative with nerfing it. Pokemon with Gigantamax formes consist of: :rillaboom::cinderace::inteleon::corviknight::orbeetle::drednaw::coalossal::flapple::appletun::sandaconda::toxtricity::centiskorch::hatterene::grimmsnarl::alcremie::copperajah::duraludon::urshifu:

Pokémon: Thwackey
Niche: SS NFE (Swords Dance/Banded Breaker, Revenge Killer)
Stats: 100/105/70/55/60/80
Type:

Abilities: Grassy Plain (Grassy Surge but it stays active as long as the user is on the feild.
New Moves: N/A
Removed Moves: N/A

Description: Eviolite SD wallbreaker. Basically like Rillaboom, but a bit worse (lacks high horsepower and less attack, relying on eviolite for bulk). Grassy Plain over grassy surge so that when it comes in it will always retain it, instead of coming in when there’s only one turn left (I know all of you have experienced that before when playing Rillaboom, oh the pain). It also mean it doesn’t have a limited time to set up and use grassy glide, so that’s nice too. Only downside is that you can no longer heal ur teammates, or reduce the damage they take from eq. In our meta provides nice offensive partners to mons like greninja/Keldeo who appreciate it beating fini, koko/manectric which love it coming in on ground types, and any team who wants to revenge kill scary offensive threats that aren’t named salamence. Also, Paullxxx let me use this idea.

More coming soon, but I gtg.

Pokémon: Dragapult
Niche: SS Battle Stadium Singles - Bulky Substitute
Stats: 120/95/75/85/75/129 BST: 579 (+32 HP, -25 Atk, -15 Sp. Atk, -13 Spd)
Type:

Abilities: Clear Body, Cursed Body, Infiltrator (HA)
New Moves: +Shadow Bone
Removed Moves: -Dragon Dance, -Thunderbolt

Descriptions: A very interesting set that Dragapult has used in BSS whose main goal was stalling out bulky Dynamax mons with its high Speed stat and good support options. With much lower attacking stats and much higher HP stats it make use of its stellar speed and bulk to set up substitute and start crippling the opponent either with Thunder Wave or Will-O-Wisp. SubWillHex is a notable combo here though its lower Special Attack means it shouldn't be too potent so you can and should still run its usual set of Sub, Dragon Darts and either Hex or Thunder Wave, but this time it actually has a usable STAB Ghost-type move now in Shadow Bone. Poltergeist is a bit too strong for Dragapult's Speed and besides, that's Froslass' whole shtick. But this time Dragapult now has a usable Ghost-type STAB move that doesn't require a turn to use. Also removed Thunderbolt so that mons like Tapu Fini are proper counters to it now. 129 Speed also makes it the 2nd fastest mon in the meta now, only beat by Crobat.

YOU JUST GOT GOONED
:ss/obstagoon:
Pokémon: Obstagoon
Niche: SS RU - Physical Wallbreaker
Stats: 93 HP / 90 Atk / 101 Def / 60 SpA / 81 SpD / 97 Spe (+2)
Types: Dark/Normal
Abilities: Defiant, Guts, Reckless (HA)
Justification: Yeah, that’s right, you got GOONED. I just GOONED ya. What is GOONED, you ask? Well if a GOON is an Obstagoon, then getting GOONED is the act of putting an Obstagoon somewhere. In this case, I made literally no changes to Obstagoon except for an extra 2 points to speed. So yeah, you just got GOONED.

Rime Ranger Alpha serves as a prequel to a joke from another mod. He started the Ranger Initiative, where he took other Pokémon and showed them how to dance and defeat evil, in that order, or often both at once. There’s nothing to fear, the first Rime Ranger is here!
:ss/mr-rime:
Pokémon: Mr. Rime
Niche: SS PU - Hazard/Screen Control
Stats: 80 HP / 85 Atk / 80 Def (+5) / 110 SpA / 100 SpD / 75 Spe (+5)
Types: Ice/Psychic
Abilities: Infiltrator, Screen Cleaner, Refrigerate (HA)
New Moves: Hyper Voice, Earth Power
Removed Move: Healing Wish
Justification: Most of the optimization here doesn’t come from stats. The majority of changes I made will be found in the movepool additions and new abilities. Infiltrator serves as an alternative to the still existing Screen Cleaner, while Refrigerate allows for Rapid Spin to hit Ghost types, making it more reliable (third time’s the charm). I also gave this Hyper Voice for a good damaging Refrigerate move, gave it Earth Power for a more consistent coverage move to hit Steel types than Focus Blast, and removed Healing Wish in an attempt to establish this mon as a more offensive presence.

Description:I really like Boltund’s design of an Electric type Strong Jaw attacker, with actual reliable physical Electric STAB. Bumped up its Attack and bulk, added the Dark type for STAB Crunch, and done. A good cleaner and revenge killer.

Descriptions: new hazard everybody!!!!!!!! anyway, yeah, this is just an incredibly versatile and bulky set up sweeper (work up lol), amazing bulk is balanced by absolutely no recovery, and having to choose between LO (not being passive) and Boots (not being chipped that much). TR works just as always, and Physical sets are at the order of the day, gave it Ice coverage so it could have more worthwile matchups, not knowing which set ur opponent is running can (and will) take players by surprise.

Descriptions: We know what :Arctozolt: does. Spamming its ridiculous STABs. However, instead of spamming Bolt Beaks, it will spam Plasma Fists since Bolt Beak is really strong in this meta. Its speed tier is a bit poor but it manages fire off its attacks in Hail or when switching into a defensive Pokemon that gets destroyed by its STABs. Heavy-Duty Boots are most likely the item to go, but with Life Orb it manages to get more 2HKOs and with Thunderbolt, it is the only to 1v1 :Avalugg:. However, Life Orb and its Stealth Rock weakness significantly reduce its longevity. It's also not as fast to begin with. Sure 418 with Adamant is faster than most Pokemon, but Scarf :Venusaur:, :Victreebel: and :Mew: outspeed it. Those are even gimmicky Scarfers and the better ones are even faster. Jolly only manages to outrun :Genesect: but is slower than :Rotom-Mow: and loosing power by running Jolly sucks.

Descriptions: Derpy Bird is here and it is actually nice in this meta. Its ability to check some of the most threatening Pokemon and provide Defog support is invaluable. Its Ice neutrality and decent physical bulk helps it help Ice-types like :mamoswine: and :froslass:, since :articuno: and :noctowl: don't have enough bulk to tank its hits. Furthermore, it can make itself and its teammates more threatening with Gulp Missile lowering the targets defenses or paralyzing them. This requires it to use Surf though and it has to be faster, which is quite situational. Also while it is a nice Water-type that can use Defog, :tapu-fini: has the same traits as it. :cramorant: has a Ground and Spikes immunity, a Grass neutrality and Gulp Missile.

Descriptions: :Linoone-Galar: is a nice Pivot that can check many Pokemon with little to no bulk investment and it manages to spam its Normal STAB with Ghosts being scared of Knock Off. Parting Shot helps it scout easily and Taunt or Switcheroo helps it cripple defensive Pokemon easily. Slack Off helps it with its longevity and allows it to check more Pokemon and more consistently. Its problem is that it is rather weak even with Toxic Orb boosted Facade and while base 100 Speed is good, it is a crowded speed tier and Choice Scarf users still give it trouble, with the best ones being :flygon:, :landorus:, :keldeo:, :manectric: and :greninja:, given that the Eviolite set doesn't have a reliable way in getting statused and thus only has 328 speed.

Descriptions: :Slowbro-Galar: is a great all-around Pokemon. Checking a lot of Pokemon while being an offensive threat thanks to its typing, Regenrator and movepool. CM and NP have many oppoturnities to set-up against defensive Pokemon thanks to its bulk and Toxic immunity and AV are great pivots that can check many Special Attackers. It struggles against Dark-, Ghost- and Ground-types which is bad since they are really common. :flygon:, :landorus:, :arceus:, :mamoswine:, :golem: and :rhyperior: are all able to switch into it and threaten it with their STABs. Descriptions: :Corviknight: will fulfill an offensive role here with the lost of Defog and U-turn and the additions of Superpower and Switcheroo. With its higher speed and attack, it is able to utilize Choice Band and Choice Scarf and Bulk Up becomes a more common option. Of course, defensive sets with Bulk Up also work due to its great typing and decent bulk. Pressure is nice for its defensive Bulk Up set, since it beats many defensive Pokemon like :golem:, :avalugg:, :chesnaught:, :forretress: and :sableye: while Mirror Armor lets it ignore Intimidate from :manectric:, :mawile: and :stoutland:.
Now on to the Gigantamax forme. In this forme, :corviknight: is able to set-up with Max Knuckle and Max Steelspike and gain more HP in the process, which allows it to stack boosts more easily. G-Max Wind Rage removing Hazards, Screens, Terrains and Weather is also nice for a strong move. The downside it that it is makes it more passive and weaker. The lowered attacking stats allow the opponent to switch in more easily and the Recoil can pile up, especially since it won't be able to use Roost for 3 turns.

Type:

Abilities: Power Spot / No Guard
New Moves: Trick
Misc: +479.9kg (max weight)

Description: Stonjourner's good coverage and bizarre stat spread has always made it a fascinating mon to me, but due to DLC and the tier cutoff change raising the power level of low tiers to an insane degree, its time to shine is long gone. One of its most unique traits is its relatively high speed for a Rock-type, so I just amplified that, made its best attacks consistent via No Guard for Edge and higher weight for Heat Crash, and gave it Trick for the choiced sets that struggle to fill its fourth moveslot.

Type:

Abilities: Weak Armor / Clear Body
New Moves: Tri Attack

Description: Corsola-G is a boring and mediocre wall in higher tiers, but down in NFE it's actually cool thanks to the power level being low enough for it to make use of actual attacks. A sizeable buff to its SpAtk and a typing with strong neutral coverage allows it to make use of tools like WispHex and Calm Mind.

Gonna do the sub review!

I think this mon is ok, even if it has to compete with hella grasses atm, which may come off as less of an insentive to pick it since its priority is not as great here as it is in standard. Grass resists in general are heavily prevalent in this meta so this mon may have a very hard time to function.

A fun but simple sub, makes itself known as the fastest Ghost ever, but it does compete with a large amount of mons rn. This may also serve as a boon instead of a nerf as well, depending on how you toss it.

J

Goon is a very powerful breaker tbh, not alot of fast Fighting types and 97 speed is pretty funny here since it creeps alot of key Pokemon and nails like every resist with STAB Knock or CC.

Mr. Rime is less of a standout imo, kinda just exists imo. Not much else thoughts esp since you don't justify it.

Boltund is actually really zanny here, ond of my fav subs and is another cool buff of one of the old early day mons that may have fell off hard. Quite honestly i think you should bump up HP some more, so it can swap into the numerous flying types easier. I think an argument for a stronger Thunder Fang could be argued for too, especially since this competes HARD with Tapu Koko, i'd look into more tools to distinguish it from Koko. (Now that I think about it Koko has a custom Z Move it hard outclasses it you need ALOT more things to stand out as a fast physical Electric to justify its existence)

I am still really weary of this sub tbh. Its a potentially really scary breaker, id feel better if Gunk is gone fr, big damage drop from even tclaws pjab.

My main gripes are minor and a major deal breaker respectively. I think its just a hair's breath too bulky, but I think it can work since its frailer than Hariyami (a proper bulky mon). The deal breaker is the custom hazard. These stuff just never go well in standard, and on great mons just screw over way too much play imo. I think you should move away from that. Maybe the big SpA buff too, not that big a deal but one should always remember the menace that is 85 SpA Nidoking.

Mr Arcto is great

Give cram toxic, won't regret it

Give rat a little extra atk

I think Slowbro may go a bit too bulky tbh, cuz like Base AV GBro alr goes hard in this meta. Maybe drop it to like 80~85 SpD.

I think you should shift 5 from one of the defenses and put it in atk, incentives offensive over defensive a bit more. Or upon viewing calcs just erase the 5 fr, in case the calcs become too strong.

I think Stone is just too fast for the caliber wallbreaker it is. Most Pokémon that hit above Delphox's speed tier see a big drop off in damage output or are Tapu Koko who has a mini version of the Regi Eleki syndrome. I think a speed drop to 95 to 100 is more warranted, as such a mon shouldn't bully both offense and defense.

CM Corsola may go a bit too hard tbh, we are remarkably low on great Dark types in this metagame.

I genuinely think this mon could be fine without Dry Skin tbh, it just makes it a bit too safe to build with tbh, esp since it has reliable recovery. Makes it alot more annoying to account for, idk maybe others can give thoughts here.

Here are my subs, mostly those early classic mons from home / pre home. No stinky Crown Tundra [except]

75 HP / 90 Atk / 90 Def / 80 SpA / 70 SpD / 130 Spe (Noice)
Type:

Abilities: Ice Face*
New Moves: Ice Shard, Nasty Plot, Recover
Custom Effects: Same Effects but Water and Fire moves also trigger Ice Face.
Descriptions: Eiscue serves its role as specifically a one time set up sweeper, with extra STAB and the capability of going with NP to beat its checks. Making it so that Ice Face can guarantee a hit from all Fire and Water attacks makes it much easier to set up on, as prior it was easy to avoid Ice Face triggering. It still is criminally walled by Water types galore and the general bulky Pokémon. Also Scarf / Sash Spectrial Thief LOOL.

Pokémon: Perrserker
Niche: [SS PU] Choice Band, Assault Vest
Stats: 80 HP / 115 Atk / 110 Def / 50 SpA / 105 SpD / 50 Spe
Type:

Abilities: Steely Spirit / Battle Armor | HA: Tough Claws
New Moves: Bullet Punch, Drain Punch, Perrserk Paw*
Custom Effects: 65 BP Physical Steel Draining Kiss clone.
Descriptions: Perrserker is a mishmash of a few of the Steel types in the meta, from the raw Attack potency of Mawile and the balanced bulk of most Steels. Band hits really hard but still has a few counterplay options in PhysDef Mew, Eelektross, and Rotom-Mow. AV sets can pivot into a wide variety of moves and can possibly opt for Perrserk Paw for semi reliable recovery. 50 speed sucks as hell as well so that balances it out.

:ss/calyrex:
Pokémon: Calyrex
Niche: [SS ZU] Choice Specs Wallbreaker
Stats: 100 HP / 80 Atk / 80 Def / 85 SpA / 80 SpD / 80 Spe
Type:

Abilities: Contrary
New Moves: Synthesis, King's Shield, Superpower
Descriptions: We lost our chance at Serperior. We lost our chance with Lurantis. But now we have Calyrex. Calyrex goes hard as a breaker Leaf Storm, making Specs be a formidable wallbreaker and potential Scarf sets can snowball. Superpower means it can attack from the opposing side and try to snowball up stats from there, but Calyrex mainly has to contend with its fragility and rather mediocre offensive and defensive typing may leave it to be desired as well.

Abilities: Bulletproof / Fluffy | HA: Steadfast
New Moves: Pain Split, Double Down*, Rapid Spin
Custom Effects: Double Down - 70 BP Dark type move + 10 BP for each Defense stat Boost. (BP would cap at 130.)
Descriptions: Specialized Cotton Guard user thank to it's ability, Body Press and its anti Dark new custom move. It can set up a lot of physical attackers and proceed to go at them with Body Press and Double Down. Rapid Spin adds utility to non dedicated set up sets.

Stats: 70 HP / 107 Atk / 75 Def / 90 SpA / 75 SpD / 115 Spe
Type:

Abilities: Pastel Veil
New Moves: Recover, Flare Blitz, Moonblast, Will O Wisp
Descriptions: Ponyta-Galar serves a role as fast ish offensive pivot that relies on Eviolite to augment it's naturally mediocre bulk, giving it the ability to pivot into weaker and Resisted attacks. Ponyta CAN also try for more offensively geared sets due to its naturally high speed and decent damage output, with SD being a menace to face.

Pokémon: Flapple
Niche: SS PU - Wallbreaker
Stats: 70 / 117 / 80 / 95 / 60 / 75 (+7 Atk, +5 Spe)
Type:
Grass
Dragon

Abilities: Ripen / Gluttony / Adaptability
New Moves: Scale Shot
Removed Moves: Dragon Dance

Description: Flapple is being used as a big ol’ wallbreaker muscling through defenses with Hustle and Apple Acid. Hustle being as unreliable as it is, I swapped it for Adaptability (also fitting since it has almost nothing past stabs in its pool). I removed Dragon Dance cause it doesn’t use it and Tyrantrum would be better. I bumped up the stats and gave it scale shot because I think the meta has the tools to handle it (solgaleo, mawile).

Pokémon: Dracozolt
Niche: SS OU - Sand Sweeper
Stats: 90 / 100 / 90 / 105 / 70 / 75 (+25 Spa)
Type:
Fire
Dragon

Abilities: Flash Fire / Sand Rush
New Moves:
Removed Moves:
Thunder, Thunderbolt, Discharge, Wild Charge, Thunder Punch

Description: I loved Dracozolt’s playstyle once Sand Rush dropped and it was everywhere. It would run mixed substitute sets running only Bolt Beak as a physical move, and Fire Blast + Draco Meteor to beat its checks. To try to balance BB and also because we have many fast electric types, I made it a specially oriented fire type. This means it still has to use the prediction heavy playstyle I loved, relying on 50/50s between clicking bolt beak to beat water types, and its stabs to wallbreak in order to make the most out of sand turns.
