I changed the sets of the two Pokemon I was given to build around, Pelipper and Tornadus-Therain. Pelipper was changed to a Choice Scarf set to surprise opposing Pokemon such as Mega Diancie and Mega Gallade, as well as pivot with U-Turn since the old set wasn't putting in much work. I decided to run Tornadus-Therian with Defog and Flyinum Z with a powerful nuke, and Knock Off for additional utility. I then added Thundurus-Therian as a Choice Scarf user that could outspeed and revenge kill Pokemon such as Tapu Koko and Choice Scarf Victini. I had Drizzle on Pelipper, so I put Thunder on Thundurus because it has more power. Then, I added in the team's main defensive pivot. Celesteela is an extremely consistent mixed wall that can keep itself healthy throughout the duration of a match with Leech Seed and Protect. I figured Toxic would be better for putting things like Chansey on a timer since Flamethrower wouldn't be very effective under Rain anyway. Choice Band Dragonite is the main wallbreaker on this team with many pivots to support it. I then realized I needed a Stealth Rock user and threw in a Landorus-Therian. Landorus-Therian has Stealth Rock along with Swords Dance and Soft Sand ( Z Move was taken up on Tornadus ) to be a decent wallbreaker and Stealth Rock setter in one.

I hope you enjoy the team!

Hey all,
I'm requesting a Grass team around Serperior. It's got a great speed tier and access to Glare, Defog, Knock Off, Leech Seed, and Screens, so it's pretty versatile. I'm imagining a Scarf set might be good with Grassy Terrain, but feel free to try whatever you'd like. Thanks!

Serperior @ Choice Scarf

EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe

Requesting a team around Support Mega Altaria:

Altaria-Mega @ Altarianite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Body Slam
- Defog
- Refresh
- Roost

Dragon Dance Mega Altaria is extremely bad at the moment, and I find its best use as a supporting role with Defog. It has an alright defensive typing, Stealth Rock neutrality, as well as Refresh to reliably switch into status from Mega Sableye, Klefki, and Toxapex. Having this be the defogger frees moveslots on Latios to run other moves since Defog wouldn't have to be compressed onto a choice-locked mon.
i'm taking this fine lad of a mon

So I decided to use Sub Seed Serperior over Choice Scarf Serperior as it lacks movepool needed to revenge kill threats that are needed for Grass-type teams. I have two versions of the same team which you can use. I have posted the other version below which has Normalium Z Serperior with Sub Focus Punch Breloom. Both versions deal better with different match ups. Sub seed serperior allows you to beat and stall threats like Heatran(which can easily dismantle defensive core of Grass) if Serperior is behind a Substitute as you can then stall out PP of Magma Storm. I decided to pair Serperior with Tapu Bulu as Grassy Terrain not only provides passive recovery to the team but also boosts Grass-type moves such as Serperior's Leaf Storm, allowing it to hit much harder under Grassy-terrain. Tapu Bulu is also Speed control of the team to take on threats such as Mega Charizard Y, Volcarona and Choice Specs Blacephalon. Next up, I decided to use Rockium Z Breloom to wallbreak and beat weakened defensive threats such as opposing Mega Venusaur against Poison-type teams. The rest of the team consists of the standard defensive core for Grass-type teams consisting of Mega Venusaur, Cradily and Ferrothorn which provide much needed utility and defensive support to Grass teams in the form of a good defensive backbone and entry hazards stacking.

Requesting a Rock team around Mega Aerodactyl just because I've always liked the mon and it has a niche due to being faster than things like Scarf Bulu or the newly introduced Zeraora. EdgeQuake is pretty standard, Flying coverage for grass and random fighting monos and a filler slot. ^

For the Mega Aerodactyl set, I decided on isolating the last slot to Ice Fang and Iron Head. Ice Fang makes sure it can be an important threat in the Dragon matchup to compensate for replacing Mega Diancie. But Aqua Tail is an option for always OHKOing Mega Diancie, as well as having a chance to KO Terrakion from full health, which is especially nice for the Fighting matchup. Additionally, it lets you do much more against Hippowdon, and can OHKO Heatran if it's Balloon is still intact. For this team, I figured I wouldn't need a dedicated Scarfer, since Mega Aerodactyl with Sticky Web is already great speed control. So I went with Sub+SD Terrakion. This set does really well against Normal teams, since Ditto won't be able to copy you behind a Substitute, and you can safely set up against Porygon2 while under sand. +2 Continental Crush is also a helpful nuke against Toxapex, Slowbro, Celesteela, and Skarmory. Tyranitar is filling the role as the physical wallbreaker on the team. Being able to Pursuit trap Latios is extremely helpful for both the Dragon and Psychic matchups, and it lifts the burden of running Pursuit from Mega Aerodactyl. Shuckle is the hazard lead for the team, that can also halt setup sweepers with Encore and remove Choice Scarves with Knock Off. Finally, Rhyperior is on the team as a general physical blanket check, being able to beat Choice Scarf Landorus-T, Terrakion, and Mega Scizor. Roar is in the last slot to keep Azumarill from setting up in front of it. I hope you have fun with the team.

Here's a replay against Bug: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen7monotype-816873238
In this game Mega Aerodactyl outspeeds and removes Buzzwole with Aerial Ace without the need of Sticky Web. This is when it still had Aerial Ace, Wing Attack is nicer because more PP. Getting rid of Buzzwole with Mega Aerodactyl helps to preserve Rhyperior for when it needs to check Scizor in the late game.

This is a fairly standard dragon team. I decided to use the traditional Stealth Rocks + 3 attacks Garchomp since I didn't like the idea of Dragon Tail with Speed or Rocky Helmet without Bulk. Kyurem-Black's set is a SubRoost set that allows you to set up Sub on passive Pokemon such as Toxapex and Mantine and abuse your BoltBeam coverage. Kommo-O carries a fairly standard Taunt + 3 attacks set and with max special attack and speed, Bulletproof prevents Ditto from revenge killing you with Clanging Scales. Choice Band Dragonites a really nice pick for Dragon teams because of the sheer wallbreaking power it provides right off the bat. Mega Altaria is our bulky setup sweeper that can use Heal Bell to support its teammates in matchups where it can be useless in such as Steel or Poison. Refresh is definitely an option on Mega Altaria if the PP is a concern to you. Instead of the usual Latios, I decided to go with Latias as the team's Choice Scarf user because of its powerful utility in Healing Wish, which lets it support SubRoost Kyurem Black if it ever gets too worn down and other teammates, therefore allowing you to play a little bit more recklessly. However, running Latias over Latios does mean you trade Latios's power for Latias's Healing Wish, so be wary of that.

Happy laddering!

Hello! I’m requesting a mono Poison team built with a:

Golbat

Golbat first appears unappealing until you find out that this thing with Eviolite is bulkier than Crobat. I don’t know the set but it’s probably Brave Bird/Roost/U-turn/Super Fang??? I’m not to sure but anyway thanks in advance!

Scizor @ Choice Band

I proposed a set for Scizor, but if you have a better moveset or EV spread (I'd like to keep the Adamant nature to maximize damage) feel free to suggest me the variation.
I'd like the team to be aggressive, using Scizor to clean up the remains of the opponent team in the late game.

Thanks in advance!

For the initial sets, I decided to go with Fire Punch over Earthquake on Mega Tyranitar, and Toxic Spikes over Power Gem on Nihilego. Fire Punch lets it do much better in the Steel matchup when dealing with Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn, and Toxic Spikes makes sure that Azumarill won't outright win against the team. Shuckle is nice for speed control with Sticky Web, as well as other utility like Knock Off and Encore. Since Nihilego was already the Scarfer, I went with Choice Band on Terrakion. This makes it a solid immediate threat against Steel teams, as well as Normal teams. However, you can also go with the Sub+Swords Dance set if you want to break past things like Toxapex and Mega Venusaur. Poison Jab is on there so that it can threaten Tapu Bulu and Azumarill. Rhyperior is on the team as a solid overall physical blanket check, but Alolan Golem can also be used to improve the Steel matchup alongside Terrakion. Lastly, since the team is pretty weak to Ground without LO Nihilego or Mega Diancie, Omastar is on there to improve that matchup. I hope you have fun with the team.

I haven't really known where to go when building a Dark Mono Ubers team, but I think this defensive core is a good starting point. Muk EVs are to 2HKO 168 Def Xerneas with Poison Jab and not be 2HKO by Deoxys-A's Superpower. The spreads or moves can be changed if necessary.

So did two changes on sableye and muk. I replaced fake out for protect because of tapu lele and replace ice punch and place pursuit. Ice punch doesnt really helped it vs zyg god. Next I added yvel for removal of hazards and evs help it to out speed adamant duskmane. Taunt is for disrupting zygod so it doesnt get too out of control. Taunt has other uses ofc. Next went with darkeus for a bulky rocker that can out speed luke for WoW. Next I added gren for speed countrol so you dont lose to scarf kartana. Finish the team with end game sweeper darkrai with z hypo other options is 3 atk+np with sludge bomb over hypo. Hope u enjoy the team and ty smub for the help.

Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Fire Blast
- Sludge Wave
- Hidden Power Ground

Salazzle is a great special sweeper and the Poison's best answer to Steel. I've been having trouble building around it and Salazzle definately has some viability. I would like the team to be bulky offense or balence, as I feel those are the best team for it.
