MPL VIII Playoff Qualification Scenarios

:gengar: Goldenrod Gengars and :braviary: Bell Tower Braves - already qualified

:milotic: Mirage Island Milotics (3rd, 6 points / +2 BD)
- Can qualify with a win/draw/loss;
- If they win, they are in regardless of what happens;
- If they tie, they qualify directly if at least one of the other two series end up in a tie OR if Darkrais win versus Finis. If Finis win and there is a winner between Thunders and Nidoqueens, it comes down to BD vs. Thunders or Nidoqueens or/and Finis;
- If they lose 2-4, Finis and Darkrais must end up in a tie for direct qualification. In this scenario, if there is a winner in said matchup and Thunders vs Nidoqueens is a tie, there is a tiebreaker vs. Thunders.
- If they lose 1-5, they can only qualify if (again) Finis and Darkrais tie, in which scenario there would be a triple tiebreaker alongside Miniors and Finis;
- Losing 0-6 means they are out.

:thundurus-therian: Tohjo Falls Thunders (4th, 5 points / 0 BD)
- Can qualify with a win/draw;
- If they win, they qualify directly if the Milotics lose OR if Finis do not win against Darkrais. If the Milotics tie or win and Finis win against Darkrais, it comes down to BD vs. Milotics or/and Finis;
- If they tie, they qualify directly if Finis and Darkrais tie OR if the Miniors win by exactly 5-1. If there is a winner between Finis and Darkrais and Miniors vs Milotics end up in a 6-0 or 4-2 Miniors win, there will be a tiebreaker vs. either Miniors or Milotics respectively;
- Losing means they are out.

:tapu fini: Fontaine Finis (5th, 5 points / -2 BD)
- Can qualify with a win/draw;
- If they win, they qualify directly if the Milotics lose OR if Thunders and Nidoqueens tie. If the Milotics tie or win and there is a winner between Thunders and Nidoqueens, it comes down to BD vs. Thunders or Nidoqueens or/and Milotics;
- If they tie, they can only qualify if the Miniors win by exactly 5-1, in which scenario there would be a tiebreaker alongside Milotics and Miniors;
- Losing means they are out.

:nidoqueen: Neverland Nidoqueens (6th, 5 points / -4 BD)
- Can only qualify with a win;
- If they win, they qualify directly if the Milotics lose OR if Finis and Darkrais tie. If the Milotics tie or win and Finis win vs Darkrais, it comes down to BD vs. Finis or/and Milotics. If the same thing happens but with Darkrais on top, it comes down to BD vs. Darkrais only;
- Tying or losing means they're out.

:darkrai: Dreamyard Darkrais (7th, 5 points / -6 BD)
- Can only qualify with a win;
- If they win, they qualify directly if the Milotics lose OR if Thunders and Nidoqueens tie. If the Milotics tie or win and Nidoqueens win vs Thunders, it comes down to BD vs. Nidoqueens;
- Tying or losing means they're out.

:minior: Meteor Falls Miniors (8th, 4 points / -6 BD)
- A miracle needs to happen;
- If they win 6-0, they qualify directly if Finis and Darkrais tie. If Thunders and Nidoqueens tie instead, and there is a winner between Finis and Darkrais, there is a tiebreaker vs. Thunders;
- If they win 5-1, they can only qualify if Finis and Darkrais tie, in which scenario there would be a tiebreaker alongside Milotics and Finis;
- Any other combination means they're out.
