Modern Gen 3 is a gen3 mod following the legalities of [Gen9] National Dex.
  • Fairy is still present.
  • Physical/Special Split is not present.
  • All moves and Pokemon introduced after gen3 have the stats/power/etc they had the generation when they were introduced.
  • Some mechanics work a bit differently, more info here (google doc).
  • Abilities still exist.

    Rules

  • All general tournament rules and guidelines apply.
  • This is a double elimination tournament! All players will play a minimum of two matches.
  • Every round lasts at least 1 week.
  • All matches are bo1 using the gen3customgame using the challenge command on Pokemon Showdown!, not Dragon Heaven or any other side server.
  • Not using the challenge command or using illegal movesets will forfeit the game.
  • All pokemon have the same movesets as in National Dex formats. Banlist can be found here.
  • Replays of all tour games must be posted, only the upload is required.
  • If metagame changes occur during the middle of a round, they will take effect 1 round later.
