[SET COMMENTS]
  • Life Orb Iron Valiant is a strong wallbreaker that can threaten common walls such as Corviknight, Ting-Lu, Clodsire, Skeledirge, Blissey, and Toxapex.
  • Thunderbolt is a good coverage move to hit Corviknight and Toxapex hard and is especially powerful under Electric Terrain. Psyshock is Iron Valiant's strongest option for breaking through Clodsire.
  • Knock Off lets Iron Valiant wear down potential checks by removing Leftovers and Heavy-Duty Boots. Shadow Ball hits most targets neutrally and Skeledirge and Scream Tail, which would otherwise wall it, super effectively. However, this option is outclassed by Knock Off and Psyshock.
  • Tera Fairy makes Iron Valiant's Moonblast immensely strong while maintaining its Dragon immunity and resistance to Sucker Punch from Kingambit and Chien-Pao.
  • Iron Valiant fits on offensive teams thanks to its ability to outspeed and KO common offensive foes while under Electric Terrain, such as Miraidon, Koraidon, Chien-Pao, and Great Tusk, while pressuring walls including Ting-Lu, Corviknight, Clodsire, and Toxapex. However, Life Orb recoil and the ever-present entry hazards make it difficult for Iron Valiant to maintain pressure in longer games, and common, faster wallbreakers, such as Scarf Koraidon, Iron Bundle, and Protosynthesis-boosted Flutter Mane, force Iron Valiant out.
  • Miraidon is a fantastic partner for Iron Valiant thanks to it providing Electric Terrain support and pivoting Iron Valiant in with U-turn. In return, Iron Valiant can take on Ting-Lu, Clodsire, Blissey, and Chien-Pao for Miraidon while switching into Dragon moves from opposing Miraidon and Koraidon.
  • Wallbreakers like Iron Bundle, Chien-Pao, and Flutter Mane appreciate Iron Valiant breaking through Corviknight and Toxapex while they take on Skeledirge for Iron Valiant.
  • Great Tusk and Skeledirge are great teammates for dealing with Koraidon, which can take on any of Iron Valiant's attacks with Tera Fire and set up sun to make it harder for Iron Valiant to revenge kill Flutter Mane.
  • Specially defensive Corviknight is a fantastic partner for soft checking Iron Bundle and Flutter Mane while removing entry hazards with Defog. Great Tusk also clears hazards, making it easier for Iron Valiant to consistently come in during a match.

  • Life Orb Iron Valiant is a strong wallbreaker that can threaten common defensive cores such as Ting-Lu, Clodsire, Corviknight, Blissey, and Toxapex. none of these are cores, maybe just call them walls, move Corviknight higher and definitely mention Skeledirge
  • Thunderbolt is a good coverage move to hit Corviknight and Toxapex hard, and is especially powerful under Miraidon's Hadron Engine. Electric Terrain. Knock Off lets Iron Valiant wear down potential checks by removing Leftovers and Black Sludge Heavy-Duty Boots.
  • Psyshock is Iron Valiant's strongest option for breaking through Clodsire, which would otherwise wall it. Shadow Ball is another option to hit most targets neutrally and to hit Scream Tail, which would otherwise wall it. However, this option is generally outclassed by the utility of Knock Off and the ability to hit Clodsire from Psyshock. Psyshock explanation should be first to reflect the slash order. Bring up Skeledirge for Shadow Ball over Scream Tail, much more viable. Oh I also made it into a new bullet point because it started getting extremely long
  • Tera Fairy makes Iron Valiant's Moonblast immensely strong while maintaining its Dragon immunity and resistance to Sucker Punch from Kingambit and Chien-Pao.
  • Iron Valiant fits on offensive teams thanks to its ability to take on common breakers outspeed and KO common offensive foes while under Electric Terrain, such as Miraidon, Koraidon, Chien-Pao, Chi-Yu, (most common set is Specs anyways) and Great Tusk, while also being able to open holes in defensive cores including Ting-Lu, Clodsire, Toxapex, and Corviknight. move Corvi higher
  • Miraidon is a fantastic partner for Iron Valiant, thanks to Electric Terrain giving Iron Valiant a speed boost, powering up its Thunderbolt, and being able to U-turn into it. Iron Valiant can take on Ting-Lu, Clodsire, Blissey, and Chien-Pao for Miraidon, while also switching into Dragon moves from opposing Miraidon and Koraidon. Similarly, wallbreakers like Iron Bundle, Chien-Pao, and Flutter Mane appreciate Iron Valiant breaking through Corviknight and Toxapex, while they take on Skeledirge for Iron Valiant. I added hyphens to all mentions of Chien-Pao so implement carefully.

I have tried really hard to use this mon on the ladder and its been very underwhelming for me. As such, I think that there should be some mentions of its downsides in this such as it difficult to bring in, its hazard vulnerability, how quickly its worn down through life orb recoil, and how it's forced out by mons that are common and difficult to switch in to (Scarf Koraidon, Iron Bundle, Protosynthesis-boosted Flutter Mane). Basically, the analysis shouldnt just be the highlights for Iron Valiant, but its shortcomings as well.

Tag me on discord when you've implemented so I can give the 2/2.

OK, I like the changes you made, just split up the final two bullet points so this is a bit easier to read. A bullet for each teammate section, like

  • Miraidon is good because this
  • Wallbreakers like Iron Bundle, Chien-Pao, and Flutter Mane because this
  • Great Tusk and Skeledirge are good bc this
  • Great Tusk and Corviknight are good bc this
Aside from that I like it now.

QC 2/2.

This comma is correct as-is, since it closes off the "such as" clause.

Otherwise, stamping as-is, great job! please credit both me and Dawn of Ares in the GP line!

GP 1/1!
