Mixed Mega Diancie is a powerful wallbreaker that also provides utility with its strong priority. Life Orb-boosted Pixilate Extreme Speed OHKOes fast threats like Pheromosa, Palkia-O, and Mega Mewtwo X, with only the latter requiring slight chip damage to do so. V-create is the strongest coverage option against Steel-types, OHKOing Solgaleo, Ferrothorn, and Mega Scizor, as well as KOing Mega Steelix that has switched into Boomburst. Precipice Blades is a weaker alternative that misses KOs on the aforementioned but instead hits Fire-types like Arceus-Fire and Victini. Rapid Spin can provide entry hazard removal in a pinch. Pain Split is an effective recovery move due to Mega Diancie's low HP to offset Life Orb recoil, and it's also ineffective for Imposter users. Strength Sap is an alternative that is more reliable, but it can be more annoying to Imposter-proof. Mega Diancie has difficulties bypassing certain walls like Ho-Oh and Fur Coat Arceus-Poison, so offensive partners like mixed Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Garchomp synergize well. Knock Off support also is helpful for removing Assault Vest from Pokemon like Primal Kyogre and Mega Steelix to make Boomburst more spammable, and it's also useful against Heavy-Duty Boots Ho-Oh. Mega Diancie can be Imposter-proofed by Ho-Oh, Ice Scales Arceus formes, and, depending on the coverage option, Steel-types not weak to Ground or Fire.
