[OVERVIEW]
Sporting good STABs, a decent Attack stat, and access to Swords Dance, Mimikyu is one of the premier setup sweepers in the tier. Mimikyu's viability stems from its ability, Disguise, which allows it to either cleanly revenge kill foes such as Dragon Dance Flygon, or provides it with safe setup opportunities. With play rough, Mimikyu becomes a superb revenge killer against Hyper Offence teams in particular, as it can revenge kill things such as opposing Mimikyu, Sharpedo, and Polteageist. It also ensures that Mimikyu is not revenge killed. It also synergizes well with most offensive Pokemon in the tier such as Tsareena, as Mimikyu can deal with Steel-types such as Registeel that so often come in on Tsareena. Sharpedo also synergizes well with Mimikyu, as they both pressure Pokemon like Steelix. Despite Mimikyu's good speed tier, with Disguise broken, entry hazard damage, and Life Orb recoil it's easily revenge killed by faster foes such as Flygon, Crobat, and Raikou unless they're weakened enough to be put into range of being KO'd by Shadow Sneak. Mimikyu is also extremely weak without a boost, and even boosted foes like Milotic, Rhyperior, and Galarian Weezing can take it on.

[SET COMMENTS]

Shadow Sneak gives Mimikyu a method of picking off weakened, faster threats that would otherwise revenge kill it such as Noivern and Choice Scarf Gardevoir. Shadow Claw allows Mimikyu to hit foes that resist Drain Punch or Play Rough such as Metagross, Chandelure, and Crobat. Drain Punch allows Mimikyu to take on Steel-types like Steelix, Stakataka, and Registeel much better than Shadow Claw. Play Rough prevents Umbreon from checking Mimikyu. In addition, without Play Rough Mimikyu is prevented from 2HKOing Milotic, Rhyperior, and Flygon. It is also reccommended that a player runs Play Rough over Shadow Claw in conjunction with Drain Punch for teams that want the benefits of both, but this generally leaves Mimikyu weaker against the aformentioned targets of Shadow Claw.

Mimikyu fits best on hyper offense or bulky offense teams that appreciate the insurance that disguise provides against faster threats. Mimikyu generally appriciates things that either weaken Steel-types or are appriciative of Mimikyu weakening Steel-types are also good partners. Answers to Steel-types such as Chandelure, Heracross, and Pangoro are all appreciated, as Steel-types such as Steelix and Registeel can prevent Mimikyu from sweeping. Spikes setters such as Klefki, Froslass, and Heracross are also appreciated, as they can chip foes such as Suicune, Rhyperior, and Steelix that would otherwise annoy Mimikyu. Bulky Water-types such as Milotic and Suicune all can prevent Mimikyu from sweeping and threaten to burn it with Scald. As a result, Grass-types such as Tsareena, Roserade, and Vileplume, as well as Electric-types such as Xurkitree and Raikou, pair well with it. Pokemon that work together with Mimikyu to weaken bulky Water-types, as Flygon and Sharpedo, also make good teammates.

Other Options
=============

Wood Hammer is an option over Drain Punch or Play Rough to prevent bulky Water-types from beating Mimikyu, but it prevents Mimikyu from substantially damaging Steel-types (with the exception of Bronzong and Metagross). In addition, Wood Hammer recoil will substantially weaken Mimikyu, making it prone to getting revenge killed. Furthermore, most teams do not rely on their Water-types to defeat Mimikyu, so clicking Wood Hammer may ultimatly be a fruitless endeavour. Lum Berry can be used to prevent Mimikyu from getting burned and badly poisoned from Suicune and Milotic, preventing it from having its sweep halted and allowing it to stay on the field longer. Red Card is an option to forcefully make opposing setup sweepers such as Flygon exit the field. Thanks to Disguise, Mimikyu can also guarantee the ability to setup Trick Room once. However, it should be noted that this is an inconsistent as well as niche playstyle, and Mimikyu doesn't have many tools to bring teammates in safely.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Steel-types**: Mimikyu's best answer, Steelix, is able to come in on Mimikyu that do not run Drain Punch and force it out. However, Drain Punch Mimikyu is able to prevent Steelix from countering it after Steelix has taken a little chip damage. Registeel, Escavalier, and Foul Play Klefki also check Mimikyu due to either their immense bulk or their neutrality to Drain Punch. Klefki that do not run Foul Play can still take on Mimikyu, as it can Thunder Wave and chip Mimikyu between Dazzling Gleam and Rocky Helmet. Stakataka is also a notable mention, as it outright counters Mimikyu if it opts to not run Drain Punch.

Faster Pokemon: Once Disguise is broken, Crobat, Flygon, and other foes that live +2 Shadow Sneak are able to revenge kill Mimikyu. Foes with pivot moves are especially notable, as Pokemon like the aforementioned Crobat as well as Raikou can pivot on Mimikyu while defeating it.

**Bulky Water-types**: Milotic, Suicune, and Tentacruel are all able to take Mimikyu's attacks and threaten to burn it with Scald. Milotic in particular is a great answer because it can haze away Mimikyu's boosts and heal itself with Recover.

Physically bulky Pokemon: Galarian Weezing can thwart Mimikyu by burning it via Will-O-Wisp, while Rhyperior can simply Earthquake it. Vileplume hits Mimikyu hard with Sludge Bomb and can wear it down more with Rocky Helmet and Leech Seed, but Mimikyu can defeat it if it is able to boost enough. Golisopod can break Disguise and pivot into a revenge killer via Emergency Exit.

- Life Orb is the best item for Mimikyu, as without it its attacks are quite lackluster. (Wrong place.)
- Unforntuanlty, Mimikyu is extremely vulnerable to passive damage and often relies on Disguise remaining intact in order to pose an offensive threat to the opposing team. (Not a big deal, mmq mainly come into play late-game and usually healthy + Drain Punch. Mention how well it synergizes with most offensive Pokemon in the tier, not only offensively but thanks to its amazing typing defensively too, letting you easily form offensive cores without stacking typing and what have you. Mention how its great Speed tier, but also how with Disguise broken it's easily revenge killed by common faster Pokemon lik Flygon, Crobat, and Raikou unless they're weakened enough and how Mimikyu it's very weak without a boost and how many Pokemon like Milotic, Rhyperior, and Weezing-G can take it on even boosted.)

- Shadow Sneak gives Mimikyu a method of picking off weakened, faster threats such as Noivern and Choice Scarf Gardevoir
- Shadow Claw allows Mimikyu to hit foes that resist Drain Punch or Play Rough such as Metagross, Chandelure, and Galarian Weezing.
- Drain Punch allows Mimikyu to take on Steel-types much better than Shadow Claw. However, it should be noted that in order for Mimikyu to defeat Steelix it must be significantly chipped. (Not the whole truth, Steelix is 2HKOed so if Mimikyu gets an SD on the switch it beats Steelix 1v1.)
- Play Rough prevents Umbreon from checking Mimikyu. In addition, without Play Rough Mimikyu is prevented from 2HKOing Milotic and Rhyperior.

- Mimikyu fits best on hyper offense or bulky offense teams that appreciate the insurance that disguise provides against faster threats.
- Answers to Steelix such as Chandelure, Heracross, and Pangoro are all appreciated, as Steelix can prevent Mimikyu from sweeping. (Change to Pokemon which can weaken Steel-types like Steelix, Registeel, and Escavalier instead.)
- Spikes setters (Name them like Klefki, Froslass, Heracross.) are also appreciated, as they can chip foes such as Suicune, Rhyperior, and Steelix that would otherwise annoy Mimikyu.
- Bulky Water-types such as Milotic, Suicune, and Tentacruel (Can it tho?) all can prevent Mimikyu from sweeping and threaten to burn it with Scald. As a result, Grass-types such as Tsareena, Roserade, and Vileplume, as well as Electric-types such as Xirkitree and Raikou, pair well with it. (Mention Pokemon which together with Mimikyu can weaken bulky Waters like Flygon, Sharpedo, and etc.)
- Speaking of Tsareena, Mimikyu also appreciates hazard control options such as it, Crobat, Tentacruel (Not sure if Tenta can fit on a mmq team), as it is extremely prone to becoming chipped down quickly.
- Umbreon is a good teammate because not only is it able to heal Mimikyu with Wish, but it is able to cure Mimikyu's burns with Heal Bell.

- Wood Hammer is an option over Drain Punch / Play Rough to prevent bulky Water-types from beating Mimikyu, but it prevents Mimikyu from substantially damaging Steel-types (with the exception of Bronzong).
- Lum Berry and Red Card mentions.
- Guaranteed Trick Room thanks to Disquise, but niche playstyle and mmq is weak and doesn't have any tools (Curse and DBond ig) to get its teammates in safely.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Chip Damage**: The combination of Life Orb recoil, hazards, and possibly Wood Hammer recoil prevents Mimikyu from staying on the field for very long.

**Steel-types**: Mimikyu's best answer, Steelix is able to come in on Mimikyu and force it out. However, Mimikyu is able to prevent Steelix from countering it after Steelix has taken a little chip damage. (Change this to include other Steel-types like Registeel, Escavalier, and Klefki, which likewise can check Mimikyu. Stakataka is an outright counter to non-Drain Punch Mimikyu.)

**Bulky Water-types**: Milotic, Suicune, and Tentacruel are all able to take Mimikyu's attacks and threaten to burn it with Scald. Milotic in particular is a great answer because it can haze away Mimikyu's boosts and heal itself with Recover.

**Physically bulky Pokemon**: Weezing-G, Rhyperior, Vileplume, Golisopod, and etc.

**Faster Pokemon**: Disguise broken => Crobat, Flygon, and other faster mons that live +2 sneak revenge kill mmq. Faster u-turn and volt switch users can break disguise to later come back and revenge kill.

[OVERVIEW]
Sporting good STABs, a decent Attack stat, and access to Swords Dance, Mimikyu is one of the premier revenge killers and sweepers in the tier. (I think you put too much emphasis on Mimikyu's ability to revenge kill, it's not really a great revenge killer outside of specific matchups and circumstances. It's a good revenge killer in HO matchups but Mimikyu is mostly a real strong sweeper and wallbreaker. I feel like it could be more coherently articulated on why Mimikyu is a great sweeper, all of Swords Dance, Disguise, and Shadow Sneak are big reasons, some you already mention but it could be more coherent.)Mimikyu's viability stems from its ability, Disguise, which allows it to either cleanly revenge kill foes such as Dragon Dance Flygon, or provides it with safe setup opportunities. (Specify with Play Rough and mention that it's a good revenge killer against hyper offense teams specifically, rkill stuff like opposing Mimikyu, Sharpedo, and Polteageist. )It also ensures that Mimikyu is not revenge killed. It also synergizes well with most offensive Pokemon in the tier such as Tsareena.(Elaborate on how it synergizes well and include more examples like Sharpedo) It also has a good defensive typing, allowing it to easily form offensive cores without type stacking.(This makes it sound like type stacking is inherently bad, which it isn't, and its defensive typing for defensive purposes is honestly not great.) Despite Mimikyu's good speed tier, with Disguise broken, entry hazard damage, and Life Orb recoil it's easily revenge killed by faster foes such as Flygon, Crobat, and Raikou unless they're weakened enough to be put into range of being KO'd by Shadow Sneak. Mimikyu is also extremely weak without a boost, and even boosted foes like Milotic, Rhyperior, and Galarian Weezing Weezing-G (Believe this is the grammar standard)can take it on.

Shadow Sneak gives Mimikyu a method of picking off weakened, faster threats such as Noivern and Choice Scarf Gardevoir(I think you could do a better job at elaborating why Shadow Sneak is so good, afterall it isn't slashed and being a weak priority move may look more expendable to those unfamiliar. It helps Mimikyu with sweeping a lot because it can pick off faster weakened threats that would otherwise revenge kill it, and is generally useful for picking off weakened Pokemon.) Shadow Claw allows Mimikyu to hit foes that resist Drain Punch or Play Rough such as Metagross, Chandelure, and Galarian Weezing.(A big Shadow Claw target is Crobat) Drain Punch allows Mimikyu to take on Steel-types much better than Shadow Claw. This also prevents Steelix from countering Mimikyu. (It's kinda weird to have these separate two sentences and specifically to mention Steelix; it's also good for Registeel and Stakataka) Play Rough prevents Umbreon from checking Mimikyu. In addition, without Play Rough Mimikyu is prevented from 2HKOing Milotic and Rhyperior.(Revenge killing Dragon Dance Flygon and OHKOing Guzzlord are also good points for Play Rough.) (Mention running Play Rough> Shadow Claw alongside Drain Punch for teams that want the benefits of both, but these leave Mimikyu worse off against its Shadow Claw targets.)

Mimikyu fits best on hyper offense or bulky offense teams that appreciate the insurance that disguise provides against faster threats. (Stuff that weakens Steel-types or appreciates Mimikyu weakening Steel-types is big) Answers to Steel-types such as Chandelure, Heracross, and Pangoro are all appreciated, as Steel-types such as Steelix, Registeel, and Escavalier can prevent Mimikyu from sweeping.(Remove Escav mention, they're not very good Escavalier answers) Spikes setters such as Klefki, Froslass, and Heracross are also appreciated, as they can chip foes such as Suicune, Rhyperior, and Steelix that would otherwise annoy Mimikyu. Bulky Water-types such as Milotic and Suicune all can prevent Mimikyu from sweeping and threaten to burn it with Scald. As a result, Grass-types such as Tsareena, Roserade, and Vileplume, as well as Electric-types such as Xurkitree and Raikou, pair well with it.Pokemon that work together with Mimikyu to weaken bulky Water-types, as Flygon and Sharpedo, also make good teammates. Speaking of Tsareena, Mimikyu also appreciates hazard control options such as it and Crobat, as it is extremely prone to becoming chipped down quickly. (Well, chipped down into a range where opposing Pokemon could KO it. Crobat is also not great at removing Rocks, so I don't think it's a good example. Tsareena makes some sense but I'm not sure if it's important enough to mention, while I do think that entry hazards can help put Mmq in range to be revenge killed, so you could maybe keep the Tsar part but I learn towards not having it. )

Wood Hammer is an option over Drain Punch / Play Rough to prevent bulky Water-types from beating Mimikyu, but it prevents Mimikyu from substantially damaging Steel-types (with the exception of Bronzong).(I mean, there's Metagross too and Play Rough also has that downside. Mimikyu can beat some of the Water-types like Seismitoad, Milotic, and Gastrodon without Wood Hammer, the benefit of Wood Hammer is that you more efficiently handle them; you OHKO all the bulky Water-types except like defensive Suicune at +2, and can OHKO Gastrodon and Seismitoad immediately. But you take a lot of recoil, likely killing your chances at sweeping. The opponent will also often have better Mimikyu counterplay than their Water-type like Steelix and Crobat, so they may not even give the chance to Wood Hammer.) Lum Berry can be used to prevent Mimikyu from getting burned and badly poisoned, preventing it from having its sweep halted and allowing it to stay on the field longer.(It's better to provide examples of what specifically it's helpful with, what specifically is hitting Mmq with status?) Red Card is an option to forcefully make opposing setup sweepers such as Flygon exit the field. Thanks to Disguise, Mimikyu can also guentiee(guarantee) the ability to setup Trick Room once. However, it should be noted that this is an incredibly niche playstyle, (I think inconsistent does a better at elaborating than incredibly niche, or you could use both inconsistent and niche)and Mimikyu doesn't have many tools to bring teammates in safely.

Checks and Counters
=================== (I think the order should be Steel-types, Faster Pokemon, then the last two in whatever order.)

**Steel-types**: Mimikyu's best answer, Steelix is able to come in on Mimikyu and force it out. However, Mimikyu is able to prevent Steelix from countering it after Steelix has taken a little chip damage. Registeel, Escavalier, and Klefki also check Mimikyu due to either their immense bulk or their neutrality to Drain Punch. Stakataka is also a notable mention, as it outright counters Mimikyu if it opts to not run Drain Punch. (I think we can make this more organized. Steelix actually has a good shot at being 2HKOd by +2 Drain Punch from full health. Both Steelix and Registeel can withstand a boosted Drain Punch and OHKO Busted Mimikyu in return. Escavalier and Foul Play Klefki can also take on boosted Mimikyu KO it back, and non FP Keys can Twave and chip mmq with gleam and Rocky Helmet)

**Bulky Water-types**: Milotic, Suicune, and Tentacruel are all able to take Mimikyu's attacks and threaten to burn it with Scald. Milotic in particular is a great answer because it can haze away Mimikyu's boosts and heal itself with Recover.

Physically bulky Pokemon: Pokemon such as Galarian Weezing, Rhyperior, Vileplume, and Golisopod all are able to check Mimikyu due to their bulk and, in some cases, typing.(Yes, they're bulky and can check Mimikyu but it's not the same case for each of these Pokemon. Galarian Weezing thwarts Mimikyu via Wisp and Rhyperior EQ. Vileplume hits Mimikyu hard with Sludge Bomb and can further wear it down with Rocky Helmet and Leech Seed; Mimikyu can technically beat Plume if it boosts enough but it also has to play the mindgame of attacking as Vileplume uses a non-Strength Sap move and using Swords Dance as it Strength Saps . Golisopod is not a very good check to a boosted Mimikyu on its own but it can break Disguise and pivot out to a revenge killer via Emergency Exit

Faster Pokemon: Once Disguise is broken, Crobat, Flygon, and other foes that live +2 Shadow Sneak are able to revenge kill Mimikyu. Flygon and Raikou are especially notable, as they can use pivot moves to break Disguise and can later return and revenge kill Mimikyu. (You could say, foes with pivot moves are especially notable, and it's kinda wrong to not have Crobat in that; in that case you might want to change the structure of the paragraph to make more sense rather than repeat the same Mons.)
