Abilities:
Adaptability
Movepool Additions: Dragon Meditate
Movepool Removals: None
Custom Elements: Dragon Meditate - Raises user's Speed and Special Attack by 1 stage
How does this fulfill the concept?: The stats are close to the original and it stays a special attacker. It's a Dragon with Calm Mind, so I can see it meditating.
Sample Sets:
Drampa @ Leftovers
Ability: Adaptability
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Draco Meteor

Custom Elements: Shell Plating: Increases this Pokemon's Defense by 1.5x.
How does this fulfill the concept?: Still a defensive mon, even more so than before, that can Shell Smash. It has arms and is bipedal, so why can't it punch? Added Fire Punch.
Sample Sets:
Turtonator @ White Herb

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Shell Smash
- Fire Punch

Okay, here are the long-awaited winners of this slate!

Drampa: Yung Dramps

Name: God
Stats: 101 / 74 / 109 / 120 / 53 / 53 (510 BST)
Typing:
/

Abilities: Berserk, Scrappy
Berserk: Stamina clone that raises SpA
Movepool Changes(if any): -
How does this fulfill the concept?: This version of Drampa is designed to be a Calm Mind abuser with high physical bulk and Special Attack. You can also go for Specs sets with Scrappy. The Dramps:tm: is a nearly perfect being, but you still gotta watch out for special attackers that can hit you hard before you get a chance to act as well as working around that improved but still mediocre speed tier.
Turtonator: Scoopapa

Name: Turtonator
Stats: 65 / 105 / 180 / 85 / 95 / 25 | 520 BST
Typing: Fire / Dragon
Abilities: Fortress / Shell Armor | Sturdy (HA)
Movepool Additions: Spikes, Rapid Spin, Spiky Shield
Movepool Removals: Shell Smash
Custom Elements: Shell Trap - Physical Dragon-type Magma Storm clone
How does this fulfill the concept?: A very sturdy physical tank. On the plus side, it has a superb set of resistances with Fortress, massive Def, and great support moves to use them with. It can also stack passive damage with Shell Trap, Spiky Shield, and Spikes (also provides a defensive Spiker). On the negative side, it lacks recovery, is weak to Stealth Rock, and has somewhat inconsistent attacks.
Medicham: Scoopapa

Name: Medicham
Stats: 65 / 110 / 80 / 95 / 80 / 80 | 520 BST
Typing: Fighting / Psychic
Abilities: Pure Power
Movepool Removals: Fake Out
Custom Elements: Pure Power - Now doubles the power of moves with 60 BP or less
How does this fulfill the concept?: Still a wall breaker, but this it's based on having strong moves with great secondary effects. It would eschew High Jump Kick, Zen Headbutt, and punches in favor of Force Palm, Power-up Punch, Rock Tomb, Bullet Punch, Vacuum Wave, and Hidden Power. However, its Speed tier relegates it to outspeeding walls, ( between Force Palm, Rock Tomb, and priority it can get around the speed problem ), so things like Banette can revenge kill it.
Next slate will come soon!

Some sets:

Zoroark @ Life Orb / Ghostium-Z
Ability: Illusion
252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe, Jolly
-Swords Dance
-Sucker Punch
-Shadow Claw
-Low Kick

The SpA is a red herring. Set up and sweep with STAB prioirty. ( Shadow Claw outdamages Shadow Ball and Dark Pulse fyi )

Rotom-F @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Download
252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe, Timid
-Freeze Dry
-Ice Beam
-Thunderbolt
-Volt Switch

Probably a great late-game cleaner. Has early utility with Volt Switch as well.

Mothim @ Buginium-Z
Ability: Tinted Lens
252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe, Timid
-Quiver Dance
-Bug Buzz
-Psyshock
-Roost

Kind of like Tyrantrum or Smeargle, the frailest of the bunch but the fastest, with a universal nuke. It has some advantages over Tyrantrum and Smeargle, with damage output in between them, the worst bulk of the initially, and SpD boosting to set up on some things Tyrantrum can't.

Drampa @ Dragonium-Z, Normalium-Z
Ability: Berserk
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD, Bold
-Calm Mind
-Draco Meteor / Hyper Beam
-Flamethrower / Shadow Ball
-Roost

I am become Drampa, destroyer of balance. Berserk is hands down the best ability, as you are basically a physical wall that will have 400 SpA after taking one hit, as well as 140 and 150 BP STAB moves. You don't want Hyper Beam hitting Bronzong anyway. Not sure what is supposed to switch in on this.

Turtonator @ Leftovers
Ability: Fortress
252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD, Relaxed
-Shell Trap
-Flamethrower
-Spiky Shield
-Spikes

The Trick Room counter. Spiky Shield stalls for turns and it has the lowest Speed in the tier. Granted it doesn't beat every Trick Room pokemon but it should help alot.

Medicham @ Life Orb
Ability: Pure Power
128 HP / 252 Atk / 128 Spe, Adamant
-Force Palm
-Rock Tomb
-Bullet Punch
-Bulk Up

Ngl Bullet Punch has me a little nervous. A few mons can deal with it pretty well, like Banette, Turtonator, and Ampharos, and enough offensive pokemon can take Bullet Punch. Rock Tomb makes Altaria very sad, though.

One pattern I notice is that Ampharos has a solid matchup against many of the new pokemon thanks to its Electric/Fairy typing and Thick Fat; especially Rotom-F, but also Medicham, Turtinator, Drampa, and Zoroark depending on their sets.

Okay, new slate guys!

Golem-Alola
Concept:
Magnet Pull user
Restrictions:
-Must keep Magnet Pull

Mawile
Concept:
Pokemon that can successfully pull off both defensive and offensive roles
Restrictions:
-Must keep Steel-type (so as not to impede on Necrozma)

Type: Null
Concept:
Eviolite abuser
Restrictions:
-Must be able to use Eviolite successfully

Oh, and one more announcement. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Ardy will no longer be able to lead this pet mod. Therefore, I am now taking control of this mod. We are still accepting council submissions, so PM me or Dramps with your submission and we'll determine whether you'll be accepted or not.

Name: Golem-Alola
Stats: 80/130/120/55/65/60
Typing: Rock/Ground
Abilities: Magnet Pull/Galvanize/Sturdy
+Galvanize (Turns Normal-type moves into Electric-type and gives them an 50% Power boost)
Movepool Changes: +Volt Tackle, +Swords Dance
Alolan Golem can now trap Steel types and set up on them, as it is not required to hold a Scarf as it is faster than every Steel-type. It can also Wallbreak with raised Attack and strong STABs and coverage.

Name: Mawile
Stats: 70/95/95/55/75/50
Typing: Steel/Dark
Abilities: Intimidate/Sheer Force/Strong Jaw
Movepool Changes: +Crunch (75BP, restores 33% of damage done)
Mawile's typing is not as good as its vanilla iteration, but it now has a way of staying somewhat healthy, as well as very strong biting moves that provide great coverage. It's also had its stats raised across the board, making it scarier both offensively and defensively.

Name: Type-Null
Stats: 107/95/107/95/107/59
Typing: ??? [Neutral to everything]
Abilities: Battle Armor
Movepool Changes: +Extreme Speed, -Sleep Talk
Bulky boye. However, it lacks offensive presence with no STAB moves and can easily be set up on.

Type: Steel / Normal
Stats: 80 / 105 / 70 / 60 / 90 / 60 | 465 BST
Abilities: Bulletproof / Iron Barbs | Swift Swim (HA)
Movepool Changes: +Recover, +Stealth Rock, +Liquidation, +Aqua Jet +Aqua Tail
Custom Elements: Aqua Tail: now a Water-type Dragon Tail clone
Reasoning: Bulletproof grants it immunity to both Aura Sphere and Focus Blast, allowing to handle the worst special attacks that might be aimed at it. It doesn't really like Delphox and Archeops, but they don't like its Water-type pHazing move, either. Swift Swim gives it the ability to be a bulky Swords Dance sweeper; Iron Head lets it deal with Avalugg and Aurorus, and it doesn't fear Bronzong or Bastiodon much, giving it a decent chance of sweeping with certain other threats weakened.

Type: Steel / Grass
Stats: 72 / 130 / 117 / 63 / 78 / 55 | 515 BST
Abilities: Unnerve / Pressure | Strong Jaw (HA)
Movepool Changes: +Seed Bomb, Leech Seed, -Sucker Punch
Reasoning: A Steel / Grass tank that with a great variety in coverage thanks to Strong Jaw. While none of the moves have high BP, Crunch, Iron Head, Seed Bomb, and the elemental Fangs provide great coverage and wallbreaking potential. However, it is also set up well to spam Leech Seed and Protect due to its amazing defensive typing and high Def. It might still run Strong Jaw on a defensive set, but Pressure with Iron Head / Knock Off is an option to really screw with some pokemon trying to break past it with low PP moves.

Type: Rock / Electric
Stats: 80 / 75 / 65 / 120 / 130 / 50 | 520 BST
Abilities: Magnet Pull / Mold Breaker | Intimidate (HA)
Movepool Changes: +Rock Wrecker
Custom Elements: Rock Wrecker: Now a Special Attack
Reasoning: A powerful Special Attacker that is great at checking Bronzong and Bastiodon, having Ground and Fire coverage to hit most possible Steel types. Intimidate is a solid ability if you don't want to do trapping, but your opponent will know for sure that you are not Magnet Pull. Solid bulk and slow Volt Switch could make it an effective defensive pivot.

Yeh, I'm gonna need a good explanation on how Grass on Mawile makes sense, or else you'll have to change it.

I know it's not canon but the mouth thing kind of looks like it's on a stem with the ears being leaves. The mouth is also bizarrely shaped and doesn't really look like any real animal. The pokedex says the jaws are horns, and Game Freak has certainly made the horns / plants comparison before. I feel like interpreting it as some kind of steel piranha plant thing is at least tenable if you're going off of the sprite only.

At least I'm not the onlyone who has had this thought before:

Yung Dramps

awesome gaming

Name:
Golem-Alola
Stats: 73 / 82 / 101 / 101 / 93 / 75 (525 BST)
Typing:
/

Abilities: Magnet Pull, Galvanize
Movepool Changes(if any): +Haze, Tri Attack
How does this fulfill the concept?: It hits Steels for big huge damage. Haze stops CM Bronzong and Galvanize is a potent secondary option with Tri Attack and Hyper Beam.

Name: Mawile
Stats: 63 / 112 / 66 / 83 / 119 / 77 (510 BST)
Typing:
/

Abilities: Sheer Force, Bulletproof
Movepool Changes(if any): +Bug Buzz, Strength Sap, Leech Life, U-turn
How does this fulfill the concept?: Strength Sap automatically makes it great at bulky stuff, and it can also go offensive. However, its natural physical bulk is pretty bleh.

Name: Type:Null
Stats: 80 / 85 / 105 / 85 / 85 / 80 (520 BST)
Typing:

Abilities: Chimera, Pressure
Chimera: This Pokemon's type matches its first two moves (New type is shown upon switching in).
Movepool Changes(if any): +Flamethrower, High Horsepower, Liquidation, Night Slash, Surf, Volt Switch, -Rest
How does this fulfill the concept?: Type:Null uses Eviolite to be a bulky pivot with a high degree of versatility thanks to Chimera. A lack of recovery and low initial power do hold it back. While it is much tankier, it doesn't directly outclass Smeargle, who has higher speed, power, more item options and more reliable Ghost/Fighting coverage.

So what type is a non-Chimera Type-Null version?
