[SET COMMENTS]

Mesprit is an amazing setup sweeper because it has great coverage and Substitute to shield it from crippling utility moves like Toxic, Thunder Wave, and Trick. Nasty Plot allows Mesprit to be more immediately threatening, while Calm Mind lets it tank more special attacks and take advantage of Substitute and Stored Power more. Even though Dazzling Gleam is stronger than Draining Kiss, the latter is preferred for longevity, but Dazzling Gleam 2HKOes Appletun, Umbreon, and, with Tera Fairy, Hisuian Qwilfish at +2 after Stealth Rock. Stored Power lets Mesprit be even more threatening over time as you amass more boosts, but Mystical Power gives it a decent attacking move right off the bat that can help you steamroll teams by just attacking. Psyshock helps beat special walls like Articuno, Blissey, and Muk more easily as well as setup sweepers like Vivillon and Lilligant that can boost Special Defense. Tera Fairy lets Mesprit turn would-be checks in Dark-types such as Umbreon and Bombirdier into setup fodder, even letting it use Substitute on their attacks.

Mesprit is checked by special walls and Dark-types alike, so checks such as Bombirdier, Toxicroak, and Scyther pair greatly alongside it. Because faster physical attackers like Bruxish and Scyther easily threaten Mesprit out, physical walls like Lurantis, Avalugg, and Sandaconda work as amazing partners. Encore from Sableye, Cacturne, or Alolan Raichu can be quite annoying for Mesprit to deal with, as these Pokemon can lock Mesprit into a non-damaging move and then whittle it down. To combat this, Dark-types to beat them like Bombirdier and Hisuian Qwilfish are good teammates that can also cripple the opposing team with Knock Off, entry hazards, and status conditions.

[SET COMMENTS]

After donning a Choice Scarf, Mesprit becomes an excellent revenge killer that beats common threats like Samurott, Toxicroak, and Hisuian Sneasel. Psyshock 2HKOes Cryogonal while also letting Mesprit beat down special walls that love to come in on it, while Psychic can be used instead to let you take care of Pokemon like Sandaconda and Avalugg. Mystical Power with Choice Scarf is a powerful combination on Mesprit, letting it become a revenge killer that can easily spiral out of control and beat weakened teams. Trick helps with crippling walls like Blissey and Articuno that Mesprit draws in and helps it check bulky setup sweepers like Ursaring and Eelektross. Healing Wish can be used instead to help bring a teammate that has longevity issues back to full or give a setup sweeper another chance like Assault Vest Eelektross, Tauros, or Bruxish. Tera Fairy helps Mesprit revenge kill Toxicroak and Cacturne more safely, as it then resists Sucker Punch. Also, STAB Dazzling Gleam lets Mesprit muscle past Dark-types far more consistently.

Hisuian Qwilfish is the best Mesprit answer in the tier, so Pokemon like Bruxish, Froslass, and Appletun that can draw it in and force meaningful damage onto it are important teammates to have. Choice Scarf Mesprit pairs nicely with Choice Band wallbreakers like Hisuian Sneasel and Medicham because, with U-turn, Mesprit can pivot them in versus special walls and Dark-types. All of Mesprit's checks heavily rely on their items, like Blissey, Hisuian Qwilfish, and Eelektross, so Knock Off from teammates such as Samurott, Bombirdier, and Sableye especially helps it to clean late-game. Healing Wish pairs well with Life Orb Samurott, Tauros, and Choice Band Bruxish, as they tend to have poor longevity—a second chance for a setup sweepers like Eelektross and Swords Dance Hisuian Sneasel is also highly appreciated.

[SET COMMENTS]

Mesprit is an amazing setup sweeper that is difficult to deal with as it snowballs easily when paired with Stored Power with its powerful Psychic moves and complementary Fairy coverage. just bc Stored Power is only one of 3 listed moves I would be more broad., which lets it tear through more defensive teams and all behind a substitute denying anything from coming in and crippling it with Toxic, Thunder Wave, or Trick. However, Encore Sableye beats Mesprit if it comes in on a status or Psychic-type move, as it beats it 1v1, even with Tera Fairy. I would save this for the second paragraph when going over checks / things Mesprit struggles with. Nasty Plot allows Mesprit to be immediately threatening while Calm Mind lets it tank more Special Attacks and take advantage of Substitute and Stored Power more. Even though Dazzling Gleam is stronger than Draining Kiss, the latter is preferred due to how it counteracts Substitute and chip damage, but Dazzling Gleam can be used to better defeat Appletun, Umbreon, and Hisuian Qwilfish. Stored Power lets Mesprit be even more threatening overtime as you amass more boosts, but Mystical Power gives it a decent base power move right off the bat that can help you steamroll teams by just attacking. Though, Psyshock helps beat Specially defensive walls like Articuno, Blissey, and Muk more easily, while also allowing Mesprit to more easily beat opposing Special boosters users like Jolteon and Oricorio-F which may boost alongside Mesprit and eventually overpower it otherwise. Substitute helps against bulkier Pokemon by letting Mesprit safely boost up against them without being scared of status conditions give examples here like walling glare sandaconda and toxic qwilfish-hisui. Tera Fairy, along with flipping the tables against Dark-types, means a Substitute from Mesprit takes Foul Play twice before breaking, letting Mesprit setup on Umbreon safely. this can be shortened a bit while also mentioning other Dark-types. Something like "Tera Fairy lets Mesprit turn would-be checks in Dark-types like Umbreon and Bombirdier into setup fodder, even able to Substitute on their attacks." as an example.

Mesprit can struggle breaking through Special walls like Blissey, Hisuian Qwilfish, and Articuno even after getting boosts, so teammates that can cripple them beforehand like Knock Off Zoroark or Choice Scarf Trick Rotom pair greatly alongside it. Because faster Physical attackers like Bruxish and Scyther easily threaten Mesprit out, Physically defensive Pokemon for switch-ins to them like Lurantis, Avalugg, and Sandaconda work as amazing partners. Encore from Sableye, Zoroark, or Alolan Raichu can be quite annoying for Mesprit to deal with briefly explain why, so a Pokemon to beat them Dark-types like Zoroark or Hisuian Qwilfish are good teammates that can also cripple the opposing team with Knock Off, hazards, and status conditions. Dark-types like Bombirdier, Mabosstiff, and Zoroark are also an issue for Mesprit before it amasses boosts, so checks like Toxicroak, Scyther, or Paldean Tauros are greatly appreciated.

After donning a Choice Scarf, Mesprit becomes an excellent revenge killer that beats common threats like Jolteon, Toxicroak, and Zoroark. While Psyshock 2HKOs Jolteon and Cryogonal while also letting Mesprit beat down Special walls that love to come in on it, it can invite in Physical walls in on it, so while Psychic can be used instead to let you take care of Pokemon like Sandaconda and Avalugg. However, Mystical Power with Choice Scarf is a powerful combination on Mesprit, letting it become a revenge killer that can easily spiral out of control and beat weakened teams. Trick helps with crippling walls like Blissey and Articuno that Mesprit and helps it check bulky setup sweepers like Dudunsparce and Eelektross. Healing Wish can be used instead to help bring a teammate that has longevity issues back to full or give a setup sweeper another chance give examples here as well, some Pokemon that come to mind are Bruxish, Tauros, and Assault Vest Eelektross. Timid is preferred on Mesprit as, without it, Mesprit fails to outspeed Timid Jolteon, but Modest can be used for more power and if Jolteon can be taken care of easily. I would only mention Timid, open to discuss it further if you truly think it's worth mentioning. Tera Fairy helps Mesprit revenge kill Toxicroak and Zoroark more safely as it then resists Sucker Punch and then lets Mesprit always OHKO Zoroark from full. STAB Dazzling Gleam lets Mesprit muscle past Dark-types far more consistently.

Choice Scarf Mesprit pairs nicely with Choice Band breakers like Hisuian Sneasel and Medicham as, with U-turn, Mesprit can pivot them in onto the Special walls and Dark-types that come in on it. Mesprit also appreciates these wallbreakers as it can easily sweep once holes are punched in the opposing team. All of Mesprit's checks heavily rely on their items like Blissey, Hisuian Qwilfish, and Eelektross, so Knock Off from teammates such as Samurott, Bombirdier, or Zoroark especially help it to clean late-game against teams. Trick Mesprit pairs well with setup sweepers like Nasty Plot Toxicroak and Zoroark due to being able to cripple their checks in Hisuian Qwilfish and Bombirdier. Mesprit is decently checked by Qwilfish-Hisui, so other Pokemon checked by it can help overwhelm it due to the lack of recovery; Pokemon like Bruxish, Froslass, and Sableye all invite in Qwilfish-Hisui and can inflict meaningful chip damage on it to help facilitate a Mesprit sweep. Healing Wish pairs well with Life Orb Samurott, Tauros, and Choice Band Bruxish, as they tend to have poor longevity—a second chance for a setup sweepers like Dudunsparce and Swords Dance Hisuian Sneasel is also highly appreciated. Mesprit acts as a decent check to Fighting-types, aiding Tauros, Zoroark, and Abomasnow in their breaking. this last part was very well written nice job.

Mesprit also appreciates these wallbreakers it can easily sweep once holes are punched in the opposing team.not very relevant because the special walls will switch out All of Mesprit’s Mesprit's checks heavily rely on their items, comma like Blissey, Hisuian Qwilfish, and Eelektross, so Knock Off from teammates such as Samurott, Bombirdier, or and Sableye especially help helps it to clean late-game against teams. Mesprit is decently checked by Hisuian Qwilfish, so other Pokemon checked by it can help overwhelm it due to the lack of recovery; Pokemon like Bruxish, Froslass, and Sableye all invite in Hisuian Qwilfish and can inflict meaningful chip damage on it to help facilitate a Mesprit sweep. Healing Wish pairs well with Life Orb Samurott, Tauros, and Choice Band Bruxish, as they tend to have poor longevity—a second chance for a setup sweepers like Dudunsparce Eelektross and Swords Dance Hisuian Sneasel is also highly appreciated. Mesprit acts as a decent check to Fighting-types, aiding Tauros, Mabosstiff, and Abomasnow in their breaking.just not that important to mention imo

Mesprit is an amazing setup sweeper that is difficult to deal with as it snowballs easily with its powerful Psychic moves and complementary Fairy coverage, which let it tear through more defensive teams and all behind a substitute denying anything from coming in and crippling it with Toxic, Thunder Wave, or Trick because it has great coverage and Substitute to shield it from crippling utility moves like Toxic, Thunder Wave, and Trick. Nasty Plot allows Mesprit to be more immediately threatening, comma while Calm Mind lets it tank more Special special attacks and take advantage of Substitute and Stored Power more. Even though Dazzling Gleam is stronger than Draining Kiss, the latter is preferred due to how it counteracts Substitute and chip damage for longevity, but Dazzling Gleam can be used to 2HKO 2HKOes Appletun, Umbreon, and, with Tera Fairy, Hisuian Qwilfish at +2 after Stealth Rock. Stored Power lets Mesprit be even more threatening overtime over time as you amass more boosts, but Mystical Power gives it a decent base power attacking move right off the bat that can help you steamroll teams by just attacking. Psyshock helps beat Specially defensive special walls like Articuno, Blissey, and Muk more easily, while also allowing Mesprit to more easily beat opposing Special boosters users like Dudunsparce and Lilligant which may boost alongside Mesprit and eventually overpower it otherwise as well as setup sweepers like Vivillon and Lilligant that can boost Special Defense. Tera Fairy lets Mesprit turn would-be checks in Dark-types such as Umbreon and Bombirdier into setup fodder, even able to letting it use Substitute on their attacks.

Mesprit is easily it's not very easy xd checked by Special special walls and Dark-types alike, so checks such as Bombirdier, Toxicroak, and Scyther pair greatly alongside it. Because faster Physical physical attackers like Bruxish and Scyther easily threaten Mesprit out, Physically defensive Pokemon for switch-ins to them physical walls like Lurantis, Avalugg, and Sandaconda work as amazing partners. Encore from Sableye, Cacturne, or Alolan Raichu can be quite annoying for Mesprit to deal with, as they these Pokemon can lock Mesprit into a non-damaging move and then whittle Mesprit it down if they come in on a status move, or Psychic-type move for the former two, and lock Mesprit into it. To combat this, Dark-types to beat them like Bombirdier or and Hisuian Qwilfish are good teammates that can also cripple the opposing team with Knock Off, entry hazards, and status conditions.

After donning a Choice Scarf, Mesprit becomes an excellent revenge killer that beats common threats like Samurott, Toxicroak, and Hisuian Sneasel. Psyshock 2HKOs 2HKOes Cryogonal while also letting Mesprit beat down Special special walls that love to come in on it, while Psychic can be used instead to let you take care of Pokemon like Sandaconda and Avalugg. Mystical Power with Choice Scarf is a powerful combination on Mesprit, letting it become a revenge killer that can easily spiral out of control and beat weakened teams. Trick helps with crippling walls like Blissey and Articuno that Mesprit draws in and helps it check bulky setup sweepers like Dudunsparce Ursaring and Eelektross. Healing Wish can be used instead to help bring a teammate that has longevity issues back to full or give a setup sweeper another chance like Tauros, Bruxish, or Assault Vest Eelektross, Tauros, or Bruxish. Tera Fairy helps Mesprit revenge kill Toxicroak and Cacturne more safely, comma as it then resists Sucker Punch. Also, STAB Dazzling Gleam lets Mesprit muscle past Dark-types far more consistently.
