[SET COMMENTS]
Paragraph 1:
Mega Sharpedo is a good wallbreaker and late-game cleaner due to it's great attack stat that is complemented by Strong Jaw and superb speed, as well as Speed Boost allowing it to outspeed naturally faster Pokemon before Mega Evolving. However, Mega Sharpedo is very frail and cannot switch in safely. It is also vulnerable to Pokemon that can take a hit from it and can hit back with a super-effective attack. Despite its flaws, Mega Sharpedo is still able to clean up weakened teams after its checks have been removed. Crunch is a STAB move that hits much of the metagame for solid neutral damage, notably nailing Pokemon, such as Aegislash, Azelf, and Slowking. Psychic Fangs hits Poison- and Fighting-Types, such as Urshifu-R, Amoonguss, and Roserade. Ice Fang 2HKOs Mega Altaria, as well as hitting Salamence, Dragonite, and Zarude. Close Combat is an alternative option to hit Zarude, Cobalion, and Bisharp, whilst providing perfect neutral coverage. Protect allows Mega Sharpedo to guarantee a Speed Boost before Mega Evolving, and can scout the intentions of Choiced Attackers bar Urshifu-R. An adamant nature with maximum Attack and Speed investment allows Mega Sharpedo to outspeed as much as possible and hit as hard as possible.

Paragraph 2:
Mega Sharpedo fits on offensive teams that need a teammate to clean up against weakened teams. Other offensive threats such as Dragon Dance Dragonite, Meteor Beam Celesteela, and Nasty Plot Azelf make great partners, as they resist the attacks the Mega Sharpedo is usually threatened out by. Spikes Support from Deoxys-D and Roserade are greatly appreciated as it wears down Mega Sharpedo's checks.

Other Options
=============

Poison Jab is a way to hit RestTalk Primarina, which doesn't mind many of the moves. However, it's hard to fit in Mega Sharpedo's moveset. Waterfall can be used as another STAB attack, however, Crunch has better coverage against the metagame. Destiny Bond can be used to take down a check, such as Tangrowth, with it.

**Checks and Counters**
===================

Physically Defensive Pokemon: Physically Defensive Tangrowth is a great answer to Mega Sharpedo due to being able to Regenerate off its attacks and can threaten it out with Power Whip. However, it can worn down with the combination of Entry Hazards + Switching into one of Mega Sharpedo's attacks.

Steel-Types and Fairy-Types: Both Steel- and Fairy-types such as Cobalion, Primarina, and Azumarill don't mind any of Sharpedo's moves on the standard set, and can hit back with their STAB attacks and OHKO Mega Sharpedo. However, Cobalion should be aware of Close Combat and Azumarill and Primarina should be aware of Poison Jab.

Bulky Attackers: Since Mega Sharpedo is very frail, it cannot take many hits. Many bulkier Pokemon can take one hit while healthy, such as Rhyperior and Tangrowth, and OHKO it back. However, these Pokemon can be chipped down by Mega Sharpedo's teammates and itself.

Strong Priority: Choice Band Scizor's Bullet Punch, Diggersby's Qucik Attack, and Conkeldurr's Mach Punch can OHKO or finish off a weakened Mega Sharpedo. However, none of these Pokemon enjoy switching into one of Mega Sharpedo's Attacks.

Paragraph 1:
Mega Sharpedo is a good wallbreaker and late-game cleaner due to it's great attack stat that is complemented by Strong Jaw Reworded to include this, very important since its essentially a free CB which lets you switch moves. and superb speed stats, as well as Speed Boost allowing it to outspeed naturally faster Pokemon before Mega Evolving. However, Mega Sharpedo is very frail and cannot switch in safely. It is also vulnerable to Pokemon that can take a hit from it and can hit back with a super-effective attack. Despite its flaws, Mega Sharpedo is still able to clean up weakened teams after its checks have been weakened or removed. Crunch is an attack that is a STAB move that hits many much of the metagame super-effectively for solid neutral damage, notably nailing Pokemon such as Aegislash, Azelf, and Slowking. Psychic Fangs hits Poison- and Fighting-Types, such as Urshifu-R, Amoonguss, and Roserade. Ice Fang 2HKOes Mega Altaria chips Tangrowth, as well as hitting Salamence, Dragonite, Mega Altaria MAlt is the main target for Ice Fang given how prevalent it is as a check, and Zarude. Close Combat is an alternative option to hit Rhyperior, Zarude, Cobalion, and Bisharp, whilst providing perfect neutral coverage. Don't need 4 mentions and Crunch does around the same amount as CC to Rhyp. Protect allows Mega Sharpedo to gain guarantee a Speed Boost before Mega Evolving, and can scout the intentions of Choiced Attackers bar Urshifu-R.

Add a subsection of breakers that can forcibly chip away at steels and other physical walls like Skarm, namely SD Scizor among other things. Anything to deter hazard removers works great as well. Roserade is a great partner, as it can set up Spikes that help wear down Mega Sharpedo's checks. Don't forget to mention the leads on HO, MShark's most prominent teamstyle. What are they? If used on a more balanced team, a strong defensive Pokemon should be used to take priority attacks, such as Tangrowth or Hippowdon. Not relevant enough outside of offense, remove this for now.

=============

Earthquake is another option What group of targets does this specfically hit and miss out on?, however, getting rid of Ice Fang or Psychic Fangs is generally undesirable. Poison Jab is a way to hit Primarina, however, Primarina isn't meant to check Mega Sharpedo as it is almost always 2HKO'd by Crunch Disagree on this since defensive sets are getting more usage with options like RestTalk becoming promient, just mention that its hard to fit over other moves . Aqua Jet can be used as a priority attack to finish off weakened Pokemon. Flip Turn can be used to turn Sharpedo into an offensive pivot, but doesn't mesh well with Mega Sharpedo's do or die nature after Mega Evolving. Not worth it at all and and takes up important moveslots for coverage in return. Liquidation Waterfall If you're ever running a water move, Waterfall is the better option thanks to its flinch chance, list out things it's useful for hitting also like Hippo. can be used as another STAB attack, however, Crunch has better coverage against the metagame. Destiny Bond can be used to take down a check, such as Tangrowth, with it. Mega Sharpedo can run special attacks, but it is generally not as valuable as a Physical Moveset due to a lesser special attack stat and no boost to its attacks, unlike Strong Jaw boosting its attacks. Similar to the above, except that most of the physical walls you would try to lure can already be worn down into 2HKO range quite easily, so its honestly quite redundant.

**Checks and Counters**
===================

**Physically Defensive Pokemon:** Physically Defensive Tangrowth is a great switchin answer to Mega Sharpedo due to being able to Regenerate off its attacks and can threaten it out with Power Whip or Giga Drain. However, it can be worn down with the combination of Entry Hazards + Switching into one of Mega Sharpedo's attacks. Arguably the best long-term counter with Regen, especially as it also isn't 2HKOed by anything MShark throws at it after Stealth Rock. However, this statement can be applied to other answers depending on which you choose though, as said below. Cobalion can be switched into a Crunch for an attack boost, and doesn't immediately crumple to Psychic Fangs. However, it should be wary of Close Combat. Move Cobalion to its own section and add mentions of other mischallenous physical walls, like?

Give bulky Steels and Fairies their own respective sections, both categories can MShark relatively well from high health since they can also OHKO it back. Scarfers such as Mienshao and Krookodile deserve a spot as well since they can outspeed and KO it with very little chip at +1.

Taking Hits **Bulky Attackers:** Since Mega Sharpedo is very frail a glass cannon, it cannot take many hits. Many bulkier Pokemon Give examples of naturally bulky Pokemon that aren't close to being OHKOed by MShark in any way, like Rhyperior. can take one hit while healthy, and OHKO it back with a super-effective attack I'd say more so in general given its overall fraility. However, these Pokemon can be chipped down by Mega Sharpedo's teammates and itself.

**Strong Priority:** Dragonite's Extreme Speed, Azumarill's Aqua Jet, and Infernape's Mach Punch can OHKO or Don't think these are the more relevant/applicable examples that could be used when it comes to priority attacks, I personally think the order should be Choice Band Scizor's BP, Diggersby's QA, and Conkeldurr's Mach Punch finish off a weakened Mega Sharpedo. However, none of these Pokemon enjoy switching into one of Mega Sharpedo's Attacks.

Implement this and I'll check it again, please take the time to read the above carefully as there is a lot of additional stuff that I want to see done right before I consider stamping.

Implement this and I'll check it again, please take the time to read the above carefully as there is a lot of additional stuff that I want to see done right before I consider stamping.
Checks have been implemented. Sorry for taking some time, I've been busy with other analyses.

After some discussion with the QC team since the implementation of the check, I find it unfortunate to say that we've decided to QC reject this.

The overall analysis remains very barren and struggles to go much in-depth beyond stating the obvious, I find this to be the most apparent in the teammates and checks/counters section, where the lack of additional mentions along with a difficulty in fleshing out the importance of several points highlights a lack of overall metagame-specific knowledge in a way that I find too severe to ignore. Despite the guidance I have given out previously, the analysis has still missed much of the mark on what was expected and requires too much support in order to meet our given standards.

With that being said, I will have this reassigned for the time being. Feel free to make another reservation when you feel comfortable doing so.
