sticky web teams aren't as specialised imo. every pokemon on your team can benefit from sticky web, not everything benefits from tr or weather
but would you say a webs setter is something most team need and should consider adding? is a sticky web user a useful addition to most/all teams? there are some really borderline things listed here, particularly sticky web. the other one is probably trapping, because its not always true that a team will benefit from having a trapper added.
I'm not that good at LC, but webs are really specialized and something that only benefits one archetype, whereas every team needs a pawn check, fletch check, hazard control of some sort, and most (not all, but a lot) teams benefit from having things like a pivot. sticky web can stay I guess, but are things like memento and phazing things you think most, if not all, teams benefit from and should always consider having?

No, you are correct in saying that not all teams benefit from them. But this resource is a useful one, if you have 3 or so Pokemon in a team, and you think, 'hmm I really want a Stealth Rock setter, or a Cleric' and you can come here to find one. If you have 3 Pokemon, you might see the potential the team has under webs and decide you want a webs setter. Same with a team if you have a frail set-up sweeper, you might want a memento user. Or a team based around a Normal-type sweeper, you might want a trapper for ghost, fire, steel or rock types. Or a stall team, you might want a phazer.

At the end of the day, this is Aerow's guide and it's up to him what he adds, I just think weather setters aren't beneficial to its purpose compared to other things, which benefit the thread, even if it's only beneficial a small bit.

Auto Weather Setters:
Vulpix,Snover,Hippopotas

Manual Weather Setters
Voltorb,Spritzee,Cottone,Mienfoo,Chinchou,Foonguss, ponyta,Purloin,Riolu,Magnemite,Drilbur and Lileep(that is all ones that I have used once in my life)

TR Setters

Solosis,Spritzee,Porygon,Pumpkaboo ,Frillish and Baltoy

that is not in viability order but that is the one's I have used and remember I can let that being in viability order at some point hope it helps my boy Aerow if he wants to add it at some point.

Rowan, I always tryied to build something good with this playstyles, and with work somehow get something usable, criativite is part of teambuilding, that is not necessary but it is interesting,if people want to be the next Fiend Hound and build lordsquads so yeah let them dream about it , i can help you guys out at this point if you want as I have experience with all the mentioned playstyle with good results, gl on this thread excelent idea

I would like to point out that there are very good threads on using weather in LC already which you can check out if you need good setters/abusers.

Maybe Aerow could just put a link to the weather threads somewhere in the compendium( and there's a Trick Room one too I believe). IDK.
Besides that, though, this is extremely helpful for players on the much newer side (like me) who aren't as good/ naturally talented as Infamy, and is really nice to look at.

Okay, I think I added everything (Phazers + Clear Smog, Clerics etc). I won't be here too much the next few weeks, but I will update the thread when I'm back again :]

Imo, you should have a section for Pony checks. Those are pretty tough to find, especially if you're tryna find one to check both standard sets. It's hard and I think it'd be a good addition. Off the top of my head, I can think of Doge, Diglett, and Numel, and that's listed by viability as a check.

Sorry if I go off-topic, but where in the helm is Vullaby offensive?

EDIT: okay, I like LC for this too ( stuff is more tweakable than in standard )

add larvesta as a sun check, sun boosted flare blitzes kill everything and it's incredibly annoying as nothing on the team can switch into it without taking massive damage, being KOd, or being burned.

I would add Mienfoo in the stallbreakers section mainly because of its Taunt set, HJK can be problematic once spritzee is dead, it contributes to voltturn and it also has regenerator.

Apart from this great job Aerow, this is not only useful to build, but also for people who are starting to learn how to play.

Idk if this gets updated but i hold there should be a section for mons that disrupt volt-turn as that's a prominent lc strategy and one that is important to beat. Quick list of things that derail vturn chains:

- Porygon (absorbs Volt Switches and threatens incoming fighting-types with Psychic)
- Ponyta and Larvesta (dont like chou but really do like giving weak-hit burns)
- Diglett (forces electrics to be wary of using volt switch)
- Goth (traps Foo which contributes)
- Pancham (slow parting shot gains the switch edge and it can tank hits and such)
- Goldeen (laughs at electrics and spreads knock offs)

more stuff too

This happens most times I click on Pokemon, and the titles that appear as links -to me at least- in the OP, it sends me to Drifloon, I assuming that this is not meant to happen. Sorry if this seems like a bother, I just felt like it needed to be pointed out.

Rowan those sprites come from a website whose domain expired today, which may be renewed. I'd wait to rework this until we know the domain won't be deleted, and idk how long GoDaddy sites last

it was hosted at pldh.net

I think someone should add volt/turn mons. That's a really good strategy and i didn't found the category in the first post.

Voltturn mons usually fits under "Pivots" because of the ability to switch in and out more freely.
