Hello I don’t see it on the list but Gossifleur deserves a pre-analysis. Regen Rapid Spin is busted, Sleep Powder keeps it from sucking too much momentum (and REGEN is so good), and it’s a good mid game answer to the strong waters and grounds running around. I have replays if you’d like but this is what’s been working for me:

Gossifleur @ Eviolite
Ability: Regenerator
Level: 5
EVs: 196 HP / 116 Def / 196 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Giga Drain
- Sleep Powder
- Synthesis
- Rapid Spin

good argument, go for it - Merritt

I asked on LC Discord, but I'm asking here as well. Could I please reserve Koffing even if it's not on the list ? Being able to burn and tank physical attackers, while also being a fighting type in makes the mon nice to my mind, but it can also sport 4th moves options to support its teammates even more than only wisp, such as Thief (which helps to not invalidate the mon with knock off, and you can sometimes thief a juice which is nice for the mon's recovery. Plus, it's even better now that we don't have unknockable Z-Moves users to bait it), Memento (which works with Shell Smashers such as Shellder or Sinistea, and means you can free up the trapper slot for pinch rather than dig), Toxic Spikes (with Hex Gastly (if it's still usable) / Fril / Sinistea), Fire Blast to beat Ferroseed and Pawniard (to help things like Corph), Haze or Clear Smog in order to haze boosts (with a slight preference for Haze, in case of Swords Dance Pawniard, or even Screech, as a last resort to help a teammate revenge kill something, or Destiny Bond (which forces plays) can help! It also has nice Abilities with Levitate that gives it the niche of being a bray switchin, and to overall switch on ground type attacks, which help Koffing being an Onix and Mudbray check, or the newest Neutralizing Gas which helps Koffing check Shellder and lets it remove Toxic Spikes from the field. With both Abilities, Koffing is an untrappable fightcheck (or little to untrappable), meaning it has a nice matchup vs Fetch'd + Trapper teams. Of course it is held back by its poor mean of recovery, but you could maybe snap a Juice with Thief to somewhat compensate about that.

Well, I'll let QC Members see, but I'd like to say that I am experienced with this mon.

Koffing @ Eviolite
Ability: Levitate / Neutralizing Gas
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 236 Def / 236 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
- Sludge Bomb
- Thief / Memento / Toxic Spikes / Fire Blast / Destiny Bond / Haze / Clear Smog

yes but cut down on the last slot options. 3 slashes max, figure out which are best suited. Do not do a set with 7 slashes. - Merritt

Cherubi doesn't fit the criteria for a pre-analysis, but it's the best sun-sweeper right now and has seen multiple games worth of ekans usage. I'd like to write her up.

EVs: 76 Def / 180 SpA / 236 Spe

Since I wrote LC analysis in the past, I'd like to take Oddish, which, despite not being in the list, posseses a quality niche as a sun sweeper slightly worse than Cherubi that can also threaten Vullaby and Fighting-types thanks to Moonblast. To back it up, it has decent usage throughout the first week of Ekans LC.

Oddish @ Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
Level: 5
EVs: 236 SpA / 76 SpD / 196 Spe

Requesting Vullaby. The earlier request is for NP Vullaby which, while still good, is indicative of the request being made when dynamax was legal. The Weak Armor pivot is the most common set right now. I will retract if QC feels this is wrong or not kosher.

Vullaby @ Berry Juice
Ability: Weak Armor
Level: 5

that's a lot of slashes, but I think they're all good enough options to include

I've done a few Gen 7 PU analyses but until March I'll be playing LC so I'd like to request Silicobra. Its movepool is super barren but this seems like the best set that I've been trying out. Open to other suggestions if someone really thinks Poison Tail is worth a mention.

Impidimp (M) @ Eviolite / Life Orb
Ability: Prankster
Level: 5
EVs: 40 HP / 236 SpA / 196 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Nasty Plot
- Dazzling Gleam
- Dark Pulse
- Thunder Wave / Taunt

I will be happy to write this if allowed, but even otherwise, I feel someone should write about this, given how well it functions as speed control for Pokemon like Scorbunny and Wingull(if Thunder Wave), or as a Pokemon which can prevent recovery(if Taunt), while still functioning as a decent breaker.

rejected for now, can be considered when we start doing full analyses or if it suddenly becomes relevant - Merritt

I could take Meowth-Galar. It's a mon I've been using quite a lot and I think it's pretty decent and deserves an analysis.

Meowth-Galar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Tough Claws
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 236 Atk / 36 SpD / 196 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- U-turn
- Play Rough
- Crunch

It's a pretty powerful scarfer due to Tough Claws boosting its moves, and unlike Cufant, it has access to U-turn.

gonna reject this, maybe when we start doing full analyses - Merritt
