Choice Scarf allows Glimmora to become a potent offensive threat on Poison teams, being able to outspeed several key targets like Iron Valiant, Ogerpon-H, and Chien-Pao and swiftly remove them. Power Gem picks off the threatening Ice- and Fire-types of the tier including Chien-Pao, Ceruledge, and Cinderace. Sludge Wave is Glimmora's strongest move and can KO threats like Ogerpon-H, Iron Valiant, and Alolan Ninetales. Earth Power hits the Steel-types that would effortlessly switch into Glimmora's STAB moves such as non-Air Balloon Heatran, Gholdengo, and Archaludon. Finally, Glimmora has a choice between Energy Ball, which threatens Choice Specs Greninja and Ground-types like Mamoswine and Ursaluna-B, and Dazzling Gleam, which strikes Dragon-type foes including Dragapult and Choice Band Roaring Moon.
Levitate Galarian Weezing's immunity to Ground- and Dragon-type attacks allows it to come in on the bulky Ground- and Dragon-types Glimmora can't handle such as Clodsire, Garchomp, and Dragonite. Galarian Weezing also provides solid utility by taking Knock Off from Meowscarada and Great Tusk, in addition to removing entry hazards with Defog to allow Glimmora safe entry. Amoonguss and Toxapex handle Water-types that can outspeed Glimmora or survive its Energy Ball like Urshifu-R, Barraskewda, and Dondozo. Amoonguss also helps out against Ground-types like Iron Treads and Excadrill thanks to Giga Drain and Foul Play along with providing safe entry for Glimmora thanks to Spore. Toxapex can switch into Steel-types like Scizor and Metagross, which threaten Glimmora out with their priority Bullet Punch, and handle them with Rocky Helmet and Recover. Alolan Muk can switch into the Ghost- and Psychic-types that threaten Glimmora like Gholdengo, Flutter Mane, and Latias and threaten them back with Knock Off, which can prevent them from threatening Glimmora later. Overqwil handles physical Psychic-types like Gallade, Metagross, and Iron Boulder and can set Spikes to chip special walls like Alolan Muk and Hisuian Goodra attemping to threaten Glimmora out. Overqwil meanwhile benefits from Glimmora's Toxic Debris powering up Barb Barrage. Both Okidogi and Sneasler complement Glimmora by being physical attackers capable of removing special walls like Alolan Muk and Blissey with their incredible Fighting-type STAB moves, and both benefit from Glimmora's ability to remove physical walls like Talonflame and Skarmory. However, this will force Glimmora to always switch because it will be locked into Toxic, necessitating a solid defensive backbone to take the incoming hits.
