p sure fapkingg is an LC player (4k wolfpack) considering its a possibility mambo plays RBY on that particular team, also I'm not convinced ZoroDark is the BIGs LC player but I'm not sure who else it could be (maybe hantsuki ?_?)

Hype for this season, blara/fatty/heysup are vetarans who know the game well and star/zf/madoka etc will definitely make a mark this time around. Let's see how this turns out =]

absdaddy

Banned deucer.
mambo will flop if he plays lc, every other team minus bigs is safe with their picks, no other crap players detected (where is bigs' lcer) . show me somethin good to watch boys, go ZF

why do people edit my posts

Ok, week one LC matches have been added to the OP.
They are:
mad0ka v. Mambo
Star. v. fitzy72
blarajan v. OP
Heysup v. ZoroarkForever
ZoroDark v. Kingler12345

Things to discuss before matches:
Predictions (please don't just bold winners or post 'x user sux and will lose')

Things to discuss after matches:
Who had matchup advantage (if anyone)?
What is the goal of each users team?
How do the players work to accomplish this goal throughout the match?
What are the key plays the winner made to win?

I'd love it if players could sometimes give us post-match analysis of their games as well!

mad0ka v. Mambo

The ridiculous amount of preparation Mambo puts into really important battles is what will give him the edge here. On the whole, I expect this to be one of the most entertaining matches, as both players are highly-skilled and will likely bring very innovative teams. There's also (always) the question of hax, and while anything is possible, the hax gods do not seem to favor mad0ka.

Star. v. fitzy72

Starmaster has been especially good as of late, whereas fitzy has been mostly absent. Star takes this one based on unrustiness and an overall better familiarity with the ORAS meta.

blarajan v. OP

OP's ability to play consistently is one of his greatest strengths, and though he often faces criticism for standard-looking teams, there's always room for subtle innovation. Anybody remember Beat Up Diglett? Of course you do! Meanwhile, blarajan, though obviously also an incredible battler, will be left with a his first loss in SPL LC in relative history. This match will also be incredibly fun to watch.

Heysup v. ZoroarkForever

Heysup is just one of those players who never really left his glory days. He's always a high-level battler, and even a player like ZF may find the matchup insurmountable. Heysup does, however, have a tendency to be haxxed, so he'll need to play near-flawless in order to mitigate risk of hax. If anyone can do that, though, it's Heysup.

ZoroDark v. Kingler12345

This matchup pits the winner of the LC Open, KinglerNumbers, against a newcomer to the LsCene, ZoroDark. Will ZoroDark turn out to be a surprisingly apt LCer? Now is the week to start, as he faces what may arguably be his weakest competition in KinglerNumbers, whose skills have been called into question due to an apparent lack of teambuilding and a somewhat lucky run to the LC Open finals. Regardless, until proven otherwise, the smart money is on Kingler.

ok sry i started shit posts here's actual input !

mad0ka v. Mambo
-
i actually think this will be really close. mad0ka has obviously been really strong lately, and the matches ive played against her i've been really impressed with her building skills / plays. despite that, mambo has a knack for preparation and i feel that + his INNOVATION will come out on top.

Star. v. fitzy72
- another really close matchup imo, and one that can go either way (que cliche), but i just rly like how star. has been playing lately. fitzy's teams are always rly strong tho so im looking forward to the matchup.
blarajan v. OP
- strong players both, but blarajan has a lot more experience on this stage, plays well, and prepares his nuts off. a lot of op's success comes from making risk management plays, and blara is a player that can take advantage of that.

Heysup v. ZoroarkForever
- p biased on this one so won't really comment. will be a great match i'm sure.

ZoroDark v. Kingler12345
- of all the matches i probably have the least insight on this one. i haven't seen zorodark play too much, but i know he's a good player overall even outside of lc, and from what i have seen i've liked. kingler is coming off of the big lc open win, though, and yet is still facing criticisim. i'm looking for kingler to channel that into a lot of prep and use the motivation to prove the lc open wasn't a fluke to take the win.
