This is a battle between kingmidas and I, I am trying out my semi-stall team with none of the freed mons, while he is using a more offensive team. Both sides are using some mons that people may over look in the new meta (Archen and Lileep on my side, Vullaby and Amaura on his side). It also shows of the bulkiness of Growlithe really well, and the effectiveness of fire types in general. It was a very close game and came down to the very end of the match. GG kingmidas n_n

Another close match, this time between lolkomori and I. Shows me getting wrecked early game by a Budew (lol), but there were some *interesting* plays on both sides this game, that led to an extremely close ending.

turned out to be a really close game which ended in a dog vs dog showdown (which was less impressive than i hoped)

match vs some random (?). slowpoke pretty much destroyed him. played really passive aggressive until the end and pretty much just abused slowpoke and defog gligar. wasn't the greatest opponent but i really enjoyed the match. :)

yeah that's why I noted he was definitely not the best player. :)

that's why slowpoke + ponyta / growlithe works great. ponyta can burn stuff with flame body and growlithe can intimidate. both can use WoW too.

This replay really shows the effect of berry juice in the meta as my opponent was abusing two sturdy juicers and Swirlix, forcing me to play very carefully around them. Also, Croagunk is a total boss.

This isn't the best game but it really shows how potent a threat both Yanma and Carvanha are. My team was pretty weak to Swirlix, Munchlax and Chinchou but still Carvanha and Yanma just cleaned up late game despite me playing really really badly and having a team disadvantage. Yeah, I got a lucky flinch but Focus Sash Meditite is a stupid set anyway... (if I'd stayed in with Carvanha vs. Meditite I think I would've just won anyway but I dunno if Carvanha survives Fake Out)

No BJ on Swirlix?
Definitely BJ over black sludge.
Meditite might be better than Aipom, but that's just my personal preference.
Maybe Gligar over Fletchling?

Also don't overuse fake out. It just gives your opponent free switches if they predict it.

Kinda haxy battle- HJK miss and crit won you the match.

I was actually still under the impression that Gligar was banned when I was recording these. Didn't even think about the ban lists being wipped clean with the new gen metagame. Definitely going to try a Gligar on there in the future.

Why not 19 speed on Gligar :o (unless his Sneasel was scarfed)
Edit: read that end and his Sneasel was scarfed, but still 19 speed would probably be better imo.

Interesting set, I saw your analysis of it at the end. What does it beat other than other Sneasel? Imo other Sneasel won't usually stay in when you switch in to revenge kill them and the only thing you might beat is unburden Swirlix.

Swirlix is big, as it has Poison Jab. Also, Yanma after 1 Speed Boost, anything 18 speed or below after sticky web (though I changed the team, now have a Spinner, so that won't usually happen). People tend to get cocky when bringing in someone Scarfed against my Sneasel (Scarfed Mienfoo, for example [not sure if that's a thing].)
