  • Kingambit is a very threatening sweeper in Ubers thanks to Supreme Overlord, which grants it a guaranteed presence in the late-game. This is coupled with its access to Swords Dance, which not only enhances its already strong late-game but also gives it a tool to break holes in the opposing team during the early- and mid-game without needing teammates to faint. Kingambit's typing also allows it to be, at the very minimum, a one-time switch-in to very threatening Pokemon to the offensive teams it usually sees play in, like Flutter Mane.
  • Unfortunately, the prevalence of Tera Fairy in the metagame means that Sucker Punch will, most of the time, be resisted. This, coupled with the fast-paced nature of the metagame, makes Kingambit a relatively slow and ineffective revenge killer when unboosted. Koraidon and Zacian-C are top-tier threats that resist Kingambit's Dark-type STAB attacks and can OHKO or heavily dent it. Lastly, Intimidate Landorus-T helps opposing offensive teams pivot into Kingambit more easily, especially if Kingambit is not running Leftovers, as it will not passively heal the damage it takes from foes pivoting out
  • The listed EV spread allows Kingambit to outspeed Skeledirge while maximizing its offensive prowess. The HP EVs help Kingambit tank hits from Pokemon like Flutter Mane and Calm Mind Arceus a little better, giving it a favorable chance to avoid the 2HKO from Judgment and Earth Power from Arceus-Fairy.
  • Low Kick hits Koraidon hard while also allowing Kingambit to hit Pokemon like Tera Steel Giratina-O and Extreme Killer Arceus supereffectively. However, this leaves Kingambit hopelessly walled by Arceus-Fairy.
  • Tera Dark empowers Kingambit's Dark-type STAB attacks to absurd levels, giving it a chance to OHKO Koraidon with 5 fainted allies after a Swords Dance. Tera Dark also removes Kingambit's Ground-type weakness, allowing it to boost itself or hit Pokemon like Landorus-T more comfortably. Tera Flying is another option that makes Kingambit immune to Ground-type attacks, giving it the opportunity to freely set up or hit Pokemon like non-Whirlwind Ting-Lu, Landorus-T, Groudon, and Gliscor, while also giving it a resistance to Koraidon's Fighting-type attacks and a neutrality to its Flare Blitz. Tera Fire gives Kingambit a resistance to both of Zacian-C's STAB types and an immunity to burn from Pokemon like Groudon, Alomomola, and Skeledirge, the last of which can also leverage Tera Fairy to resist Kingambit's Kowtow Cleave.
  • Kingambit fits best on offensive teams, as they can weaken opposing Pokemon to the point where Kingambit sweeping is likely. Teammates like Koraidon, Zacian-C, Miraidon, Flutter Mane, and Arceus can help Kingambit by weakening its checks and breaking holes. Kingambit can revenge kill and potentially sweep through the broken holes in return. Spikes from Pokemon like Groudon and Meowscarada can weaken Zacian-C and Koraidon for Kingambit. Lastly, Pokemon that can switch in on Landorus-T, like Calm Mind Arceus formes, are also good partners, as Kingambit doesn't appreciate taking Rocky Helmet damage.

  • Kingambit is a very threatening sweeper in Ubers thanks to Supreme Overloard, which grants it a guaranteed presence in the late-game. This is coupled with its access to Swords Dance, that not only enhances its already strong late-game, but also gives it a tool to break holes in the opposing team in the early- and mid-game stances of the game, without needing teammates to faint. Kingambit's typing also allows it to be, at the very minimum, a one-time-only switch-in to very threatening Pokemon to the offensive teams it usually sees play in, like Flutter Mane.
  • Unfortunately, the prevalence of Tera Fairy in the metagame means that Sucker Punch will, most of the time, be resisted. This, also coupled with the fast-paced nature of the metagame, makes Kingambit a relatively slow and uneffective revenge killer unboosted. Koraidon and Zacian-C are top-tier threats that resist Kingambit's Dark-type STABs and can OHKO or heavily put a dent on its HP. Lastly, the prevalence of Landorus-T and its Intimidate ability helps offensive teams to pivot into Kingambit more easily, especially if its not running Leftovers, as every bit of damage will then be permanent.
  • The listed EV spread allows Kingambit to outspeed Skeledirge while maximizing its offensive prowess. The remaining EVs are put onto HP to help Kingambit tank hits from Pokemon like Flutter Mane a little bit better.
  • Low Kick retains the hard hit on Koraidon while also allowing Kingambit to hit Pokemon like Tera Steel Giratina-O and EKiller super-effectively. However, this leaves Kingambit hopelessly walled by Arceus-Fairy.
  • Tera Blast, combined with Tera Fairy, gives Kingambit a tool to outright OHKO Koraidon, while also hitting Pokemon like Great Tusk hard. still think that tera blast is pretty bad, since Iron Head hits Koraidon much much harder and is your best move to hit Zacian-C and Arceus-Fairy
  • Tera Dark empowers Kingambit's Dark-type STABs to absurd levels, allowing it to have chances of OHKOing Koraidon with 5 fainted allies after a Swords Dance. Tera Dark also removes Kingambit's Ground-type weakness, allowing it to boost itself or hit Pokemon like Landorus-T more comfortably. Tera Flying is another option that makes Kingambit immune to Ground-type attacks, giving it the opportunity to freely setup or hit Pokemon like non-Whirlwind Ting-Lu, Landorus-T, Groudon, and Gliscor, while also having a resistance to Koraidon's Fighting-type attacks and neutrality to its Flare Blitz. Lastly, Tera Fairy be used with Tera Blast. It gives Kingambit a resistance to Fighting-type attacks and, when paired with Tera Blast, an option to OHKO Koraidon. tera fire mentions etc
  • Kingambit fits best on offensive teams, as those can weaken opposing Pokemon to the point where Kingambit sweeping is likely. Teammates like Koraidon, Zacian-C, Miraidon, Flutter Mane, Arceus can help Kingambit with weakening its checks and breaking holes. Kingambit in return can revenge kill and potentially sweep through the broken holes. mention stuff like spikes support to wear down revengers like Koraidon / Zacian-C / Groundy, as well as pivots into those guys like Landorus-T (with rocky helmet) to set up a kingambit endgame.

I think we're actually creeping Corviknight which, as much as I hate, necessitated 4 less Speed EVs. Remove said EVs (only 140 Speed needed) and bring it up here. Also mention that the HP helps in dealing with support Arceus formes- Leftovers makes Earth Power and / or neutral Judgement only have a 14.8% chance to 2HKO.

I personally like HDB but we have too many slashes as is so it's fine if we don't bring it up.

Lastly, Tera Fire gives Kingambit a resistance to both of Zacian-C's STABs, and an immunity to burn from Pokemon like Groudon and Alomomola.
mention Skeledirge here which can Tera Fairy to suddenly resist Kingambit's Dark-type moves.

Stellar work 2/2
