[SET COMMENTS]
- Supreme Overlord makes Kingambit a threatening late-game sweeper and revenge killer.
- 144 Speed EVs allow Kingambit to outspeed uninvested Alomomola, Skeledirge, and Corviknight.
- Tera Flying allows Kingambit to survive otherwise super effective hits from Great Tusk, Iron Treads, non-Choice Band Koraidon, and Annihilape, allowing it to set up or dent these threats with a strong attack. Tera Ghost may be used to grant immunity to Fighting-type moves without a weakness to Ice-type attacks from Iron Bundle and Chien-Pao.
- Teammates such as defensive Great Tusk, Skeledirge, Corviknight, and Toxapex are good checks to physical threats like Koraidon, Great Tusk, and Chien-Pao. Special walls such as Ting-Lu, Iron Treads, and Clodsire check fast special attackers like Miraidon and Iron Bundle while setting entry hazards for Kingambit. Setting entry hazards and spreading status is especially crucial, as most Kingambit checks have no viable recovery options.
- Strong wallbreakers like Koraidon, offensive Great Tusk, and Chien-Pao support Kingambit late-game. Choice Scarf Koraidon is an excellent partner, as it outspeeds and threatens Kingambit's checks, and together they are able to overwhelm most of their shared checks.
