Teravolt lets Kartana fare better against Fur Coat users like Arceus formes and Yveltal. Sword of Ruin provides higher damage against non-Fur Coat Pokemon, notably letting Gigaton Hammer OHKO Arceus formes. Flower Trick is a more reliable alternative to Power Whip that also ignores Strength Sap Attack drops and won't miss but is weaker. V-create smashes Steel-types, OHKOing even the bulkiest like Mega Steelix and deterring Imposter users. Bullet Punch provides useful priority against Mega Diancie and can pick off a weakened Pheromosa or Mega Alakazam. Alternatively, Headlong Rush provides coverage against Miraidon and Fire-types like Victini. Steely Spirit is an alternative that boosts Gigaton Hammer and Bullet Punch even more at the cost of not boosting other moves.
