When I start up Shoddy, it says there are 150/100 people on the Smogon server. When I try to connect, Shoddy crashes. Are other people experiencing this, or is it just me?

Is there something wrong with the Smogon server?

Have you tried connecting manually? In Advanced, set server to smogon.com, and set the port to 50000.
It's happening to me too, but don't worry. Just leave the server, then come back in.
The reason that you see Smogon University with 150/100 is that the Metaserver, which manages the listing of servers, is down right now (150/100 doesn't have any real bearing on the number of users). Since Smogon is by far the largest server, that entry is provided for convenience. If you are trying to connect to a particular server, try using the advanced dialog to manually enter the information until we can come up with a more permanent solution.
