Flareon is a common answer because it's warm and fluffy but I think Arcanine would be the better choice. It's also warm and fluffy, but it's much faster and can be used as a method of transport and a guard dog. Only real downsides are the size and grooming its long, plentiful fur.

Realistically, I'm going with a flying Pokémon because having Pokémon being able to take me places when there's too much traffic would be ideal. So I'm going with Dragonite because it's so adorable and it would be a great flying Taxi.
