Precipice Blades is chosen over Earthquake for its higher damage output. Tidy Up provides entry hazard removal while boosting Arceus-Ground's offensive presence. Toxic cripples special setup attackers like Arceus-Ghost, physical walls like Groudon and Dondozo that want to switch into Arceus-Ground, and Imposter users. Ability Shield checks Normalize users such as Dragapult and lets Arceus-Ground fare better against Mold Breaker users like Eternatus. Both Tera types offer a resistance to Refrigerate Iron Bundle's Boomburst, with Tera Steel offering a resistance to Dragon, while Tera Water offers a resistance to Palkia-O's Water-type attacks.
