Announcement Hypnosis, Sing, and Acupressure are banned from SS 1v1

Following PL the SS 1v1 council has decided to take a look at sleep moves (and acupressure). Sleep has been a controversial topic in 1v1 for years due to its uncompetitive nature. With a player only having one pokemon in each battle, having 1 to 3 free turns to do whatever you want is incredibly powerful, but also unreliable at the same time. A pokemon's ability to win matchups can vary wildly depending on how many turns of sleep its opponent is forced to endure. For example, Hypnosis Gengar could beat Moltres-Galar if it can manage to get 2 turns of sleep, but will lose the matchup if it only gets 1 turn of sleep. In addition to this, sleep moves have varying degrees of accuracy that add to this unreliability. Hypnosis is incredibly powerful yet only has a 60% accuracy while Spore has a 100% accuracy but is only seen on Amoongus and Shiinotic which have near zero usage. These differences are part of what make sleep so controversial because it is difficult to decide how much randomness is considered too much. Because of this the council decided it would be best to vote on individual sleep inducing moves instead of sleep as a whole, similar to what the ORAS council did earlier this year and how RNG items were handled about a year ago.

In addition to sleep the council also decided to vote on Acupressure due to its ability to boost evasion.

As a result of this vote Hypnosis, Sing, and Acupressure are now banned from SS 1v1 tagging Kris to implement please.

Regarding Yawn, while it did technically have a 4 to 3 ban to do not ban vote, the council wasn't able to come to enough of a consensus to feel justified banning it so Yawn will remain in the tier
