er dammnit you got me xd. But the point is for different unique sets for lc uu mons and just for creativity. And im not saying you have to use bulk up.

Running BU chespin over Timburr is more or less for the security it brings versus Bellsprout, Foongus, and Gastly in a single pokemon while having an okay wallbreaker. It can be run to kill Archen and Fletchling switchins and somewhat deal with opposing fire types while soft checking Pawn, but both Foongus and Bellsprout are not nearly as common as they once were which makes Stunky almost always the better Gastly counter due to the fact that it beats FerroSprit and still checks Pawn and also checks Abra. The addition of Priority or Defog on Stunky gives it so much more utility than Chespin can hope to achieve. It use to be a gem worth running, but in the current meta, it finds itself rather worthless as a BU sweeper/wallbreaker. However, Spikes Chespin is a rather nice set, though is still quite ill fitting for most teams compared to say Dwebble or Bunnelby or Omanyte.

But this is for lc uu not lc ou mons :s
this is not actually for lc uu it more or less lesser used mons with badass sets that do shit in the meta as of now.

you can post lcuu sets but this isnt strictly lcuu since this thread started before lcuu

In fact you can post some hidden gems from LC UU, just make sure they aren't listed in the viability rankings (since it doesn't have a D-rank), that it's actually usable, and that you state in your post that it's an LC UU hidden gem.

Something REALLY gimmicky but really fucking annoying to handle

La Muerte (Phantump) @ Oran Berry
Ability: Harvest
Level: 5
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 16 HP / 196 Atk / 52 Def / 212 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Substitute
- Protect
- Phantom Force
- Horn Leech

This set is heavily reliant on 2 things.

1) Toxic Spikes
2) Sticky Web

Once you get those set up, you're free to toy around with your opponent and SubTech your way to victory. Now the moves themselves offer some more protection from damage (Phantom Force) and some extra recovery as well as a way to hit normal types (Horn Leech). Oran + Harvest is a here 10 HP but combine that with the massive longevity you can milk out of SubTect + PForce and well you'll be living those.

Negatives to this set is it's overreliance on Harvest to give you a steady stream of Oran Berries. Also your item slot isnt occupied by Eviolite meaning you'll not be taking hits lightly. But the idea of the set is to constantly survive neutral damage and use meager safeguards to keep it's hold in battle.

OO Include Curse over Horn Leech. While you miss out on hitting Normal-types, you gain an efficacious way to maim them or just about anyone (not Natu or anything with MCoat) and it slightly lessens your reliance on Toxic Spikes. However with that comes less longevity by forfeiting half of your HP to slowly send them off. Not the best management of your HP.

Hidden power rock is 100% outclassed on numel by Ancient Power, also some descriptions about your mom's would be cool too n_n

Time to drop some innovation

Blitzle @ Berry Juice
Ability: Sap Sipper
Level: 5
EVs: 196 Atk / 20 Def / 36 SpA / 20 SpD / 228 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Substitute / Volt Switch
- Flame Charge
- Wild Charge
- Double-Edge / Return

Meet the best Snivy counter in the meta. This thing is a 100% guaranteed switchin to snivy (barring the niche hp ground) and easily capitalizes on its tendency to just click Leaf Storm to grab a free +1. after that you just click Flame Charge and begin killing stuff. In addition to Snivy, Blitzle at least hard checks every Grass not named lileep in the meta (Ferro cannot touch it, Foongus/Cottonee are 2hkoed and cannot 2hko in return). It also can't be revenged by diglett (!) While its coverage isnt the best Electric/Fire/Normal hits everything it wants to hit. Double-Edge hits noticeably harder than Return but the recoil kind of sucks. 18 speed is also nice. Unfortunately it's really really frail and doesnt get a lot of ohkoes but the ease with which it capitalizes on one of the meta's most threatening pokemon is really nice.

My personal favourite hidden gem:

Anorith @ Eviolite
Ability: Battle Armor
Level: 5
EVs: 236 Atk / 36 Def / 236 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off
- Rock Blast

The fastest Stealth Rock setter (bar Diglett who'd rather run Substitute or Memento), and thanks to STAB Rock Blast and great Attack it can beat almost every Defogger in LC. It also lures in bulky Fighting types, which you can then cripple with Knock off. Rapid Spin gives you a hazard setter and remover in one. Its niche over Drilbur is the aforementioned STAB Rock Blast, which lets it beat defensive Archen and Vullaby, something Drilbur can't do. Seriously underrated mon. It doesn't have that much use (don't have the numbers to hand but I rarely see it), and it really deserves more.

Karrablast @ Eviolite
Ability: No Guard
Level: 5
EVs: 236 Atk / 76 Def / 76 SpD / 116 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Megahorn
- Drill Run
- Knock Off

One of my new favorite hidden gems, Karrablast. Karrablast is actually a pretty cool mon when you look at it, as it has the ability No Guard, making his STAB Megahorns 100% accurate. It also has really nice coverage in Knock Off and Drill Run (Or Poison Jab if you wanna hit Fairies), making it an effective attacker with 18 Attack. I really like the Eviolite + Swords Dance set, as it gives Karrablast some bulk to set up on things like Grass-types and at +2, it's a really scary wallbreaker or sweeper. This set fits best on Sticky Web teams as Karrablast is rather slow and hits 14 Speed, which allows it to outspeed the unboosted metagame with Webs up. It also functions as a soft check to Snivy, which is important for Webs teams. This set can also fit on bulky offense or balanced teams as a win condition, and likes the TWave support these types of teams usually bring. However, Karrablast is not without it's faults. It's weak to Stealth Rock, which totally blows, and it's sweeps are stopped by the common Fletchling, and since Webs teams are always scrambling to check the things that threaten it, it may not have room for hazard removal for Karrablast as well. But overall, with the proper support, Karrablast can be a really cool threat on Webs or bulky offense / balanced teams due to it's unique niche and high Attack stat.

Bro this thread has been dead since November and we have a creative moveset / mons thread (see my sig) currently active?? Why would you post here lol

Probably because that's a "standard" karrablast set (in fact it's one that's in its analysis), which wouldn't make sense to post into the creative movesets thread (in fact it breaks the posting rules of the thread). It does fit into the "hidden" category due to it's low usage.

this thread is still dead tho lol
