[SET COMMENTS]
Greninja is a potent threat that utilizes its stellar coverage options and Z-Moves alongside Protean to lure in checks to Battle Bond Greninja such as Toxapex, Tapu Fini, and Blissey. It's also hard to check both defensively and offensively due to its coverage moves and great Speed tier. Dig allows Greninja to fire off a strong Tectonic Rage and KO the likes of Toxapex, which tends to switch in due to being a check to Battle Bond Greninja. It also hits the likes of Mega Mawile and Heatran and makes up for Greninja's general lack of power. Low Kick alongside Fightinium Z enables a powerful All-Out Pummeling, allowing it to break through Blissey and Chansey. Both Z-Moves make sure Greninja is able to beat Pokemon like Mega Tyranitar and Mega Mawile. Ice Beam lets Greninja hit Grass- and Dragon-types such as Kommo-o, Amoonguss, and Hydreigon, as well as Ground-types such as Gliscor, Garchomp, and Landorus-T. Gunk Shot nails the Fairy-types that would otherwise pester it such as Tapu Fini, Tapu Bulu, and Clefable. Lastly, Spikes lets Greninja pressure its checks such as Mega Scizor, as well as wearing down opposing teams long-term, letting its teammates clean more easily.

Greninja works well with teammates that appreciate it luring in and weakening bulky Water- and Grass-types such as Tapu Fini, Tangrowth, and Tapu Bulu. Weavile, Gliscor, Tapu Koko, and Urshifu-R are great examples. Greninja’s Spikes support also wears down foes such as Toxapex, Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Tapu Fini, which teammates such as Clefable, Tapu Koko, Mega Mawile, Mega Diancie, and Hydreigon appreciate. Due to Greninja’s lack of power, it struggles to break through bulkier teams, notably relying on a Z-Move to break through Toxapex, Heatran, and Chansey; teammates that can consistently pressure these Pokemon such as Gliscor and Clefable work well with it. Lastly, Greninja struggles to break through Steel-types that take its Z-Moves well like Corviknight, Mega Scizor, and Skarmory, so Magnezone is a stellar partner alongside it, further preventing Corviknight from using Defog to clear Greninja's Spikes.

[SET COMMENTS]
Waterium-Z Greninja is a potent Spiker that can remove common Defoggers such as Corviknight, Gliscor and Zapdos, allowing it to stack multiple layers of Spikes successfully. Hydro Pump in conjunction with Waterium-Z gives Greninja a terrifying Hydro Vortex which dents neutral targets and removes the likes of Heatran and Corviknight after minor chip, preventing them from taking advantage of Greninja. Gunk Shot disposes of Grass- and Fairy-types such as Serperior, Tapu Fini, Clefable, and Tapu Lele that normally pressure it out, while also letting Greninja break past Mega Latias and Rotom-W much more easily with the poison chance. Hidden Power Fire pressures Steel-types such as Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn, which otherwise wall it. Lastly, Spikes takes advantage of Greninja's solid offensive presence to set multiple layers and wear down the opposing team for it and its teammates, while also letting it make progress against Toxapex and Chansey.

Due to Greninja's potency as a Spiker, it works extremely well with teammates such as Mega Lopunny, Gliscor, and Mega Mawile who greatly value Spikes wearing down their checks. Serperior and Volcarona are also great partners as they greatly appreciate Greninja forcing out their biggest check in Heatran and wearing it down with Spikes. Due to Greninja being walled by Toxapex, Tapu Lele and Gliscor make excellent partners, as they can take advantage of Toxapex and force it out. Kartana, Tapu Koko, and Garchomp also appreciate Greninja luring in Grass-types such as Ferrothorn and Tangrowth, while still taking advantage of Toxapex. Lastly, the aforementioned Garchomp, Heatran, and Clefable can all form a formidable entry hazard stacking core with Greninja that can overwhelm the opposing team.

[SET COMMENTS]
Heavy-Duty Boots Greninja is a potent Spiker, with its offensive power discouraging many common Defoggers such as Corviknight and Tapu Fini from coming in, and Heavy-Duty Boots improving its lackluster longevity. Its high Speed tier alongside constant U-turn pivoting makes Heavy-Duty Boots especially appealing. Gunk Shot lets Greninja pressure Tapu Fini, helping keep its Spikes up, as well as hitting Tapu Bulu and Serperior harder. Hydro Pump instead lets Greninja pressure Mega Diancie and Heatran, although Greninja then can’t stop Tapu Fini from freely coming in and using Defog. Ice Beam nails Grass-, Ground-, and Dragon-types such as Serperior, Hydreigon, Gliscor, and Garchomp, as well as letting it revenge kill Kartana. U-turn lets Greninja generate momentum on Pokemon that normally wall it such as Corviknight, Toxapex, and Slowbro, and bringing in a teammate to take advantage of them like Kartana or Tapu Koko. Lastly, Spikes whittles down common switch-ins such as Toxapex, Amoonguss, and Tangrowth, constantly pressuring opposing teams, especially when alongside other entry hazards.

Greninja‘s great Speed tier allows it to clean against weakened teams, so heavy hitters such as Melmetal, Garchomp, and Mega Medicham are amazing partners. Mega Latios and Gliscor greatly appreciate Greninja's Spikes stacking wearing down their checks. Since Greninja struggles to break through opposing entry hazard removers such as Corviknight and Tapu Fini, Pokemon that can pressure them such as Garchomp, Heatran, and Mega Diancie are stellar partners, and they also pair Stealth Rock with its Spikes. Because Greninja can't break through bulky Steel-types such as Ferrothorn, Corviknight, and Mega Scizor, Magnezone is amazing to remove these problematic Pokemon for it, as well as preventing Corviknight from clearing its Spikes with Defog. Greninja lures Corviknight in by setting Spikes, uses U-turn on the Defog turn, and brings Magnezone in, letting Magnezone trap and eliminate Corviknight for Greninja to continuously set Spikes later. (period) Pokemon that can threaten bulky Water-types such as Toxapex and Slowking, such as Kartana, Tapu Koko, and Rillaboom, also work well with Greninja, as it can't normally break through them. Knock Off users such as Rillaboom and Toxapex can remove Heavy-Duty Boots from Pokemon such as Volcorona, Tapu Koko, Blissey, and Slowbro to make Greninja's Spikes more impactful.

[SET COMMENTS]
Choice Scarf Greninja is a potent revenge killer, utilizing its coverage options and blistering Speed tier to beat a large number of offensive threats. This even includes boosted Pokemon such as Volcarona, Mega Gyarados, and Mega Garchomp, as well as other Choice Scarf users like Landorus-T, Victini, and Tapu Lele; however, its low power and frailty leave it easily checked defensively. Ice Beam allows Greninja to revenge kill Ground- and Dragon-types such as Landorus-T, Gliscor, Hydreigon, and Mega Garchomp. U-turn allows Greninja to pivot out of Pokemon that wall it, such as Toxapex, Corviknight, and Mega Scizor, and generate momentum on predicted switches. Rock Slide lets Greninja revenge kill boosted Volcarona and Mega Charizard X, as well as a weakened Kyurem. Spikes pressures common switch-ins such as Toxapex and Amoonguss, wearing them down for its teammates. Gunk Shot nails Tapu Koko, Tapu Fini, and Clefable, as well as OHKOing Tapu Bulu and Serperior, which Ice Beam is unable to do. Low Kick gives Greninja a way to hit Heatran and Tyranitar, as well as revenge killing Mega Lopunny and Weavile. Grass Knot lets Greninja pressure Gastrodon and revenge kill Mega Swampert in rain. The given EV spread allows Greninja to OHKO Kartana with Ice Beam.

Strong wallbreakers such as Mega Medicham and Mega Mawile appreciate Greninja safely pivoting them into its switch-ins such as Toxapex, Heatran and Chansey, which they can reliably beat. Furthermore, offensive teammates broadly wear down Pokemon for Greninja, letting it revenge kill them late-game with its amazing Speed tier. Due to its frailty, Greninja appreciates pivoting support from the likes of Corviknight, Landorus-T, and Mega Scizor. Due to Greninja’s inability to punish most Steel-types, Magnezone is a stellar partner, trapping and removing Pokemon such as Corviknight and Mega Scizor while forming a strong VoltTurn core with it. Heatran pressures the bulky Steel- and Water-types that Greninja lures in, notably appreciating Greninja luring in Tapu Fini for it.

Psychium Z with Extrasensory can be used on a specially-based set to remove Toxapex and Amoonguss, but since both generally invest in Special Defense, it struggles to break them without substantial chip damage. Expert Belt can be used with Greninja's great coverage for much higher wallbreaking power, but lacking a Z-Move means more prediction is required. Hidden Power Fire can also be used over Gunk Shot or Hydro Pump on the Heavy-Duty Boots set to pressure Ferrothorn, Mega Scizor, and Corviknight, but lets Tapu Fini wall it and Mega Diancie constantly pivot into Spikes.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Steel-types**: Pokemon such as Mega Scizor, Corviknight, and Ferrothorn are all formidable checks to Greninja, as it struggles to fit the coverage moves necessary to stop them from walling it outright.

**Bulky Water-types**: Bulky Water-types such as Slowbro and Slowking don't take too much from the coverage moves that Greninja easily fits. Toxapex can also check Greninja fairly well, but it can't take Tectonic Rage. All of these Water-types having Regenerator makes it much easier for them to continually pivot into Greninja.

**Revenge Killers**: Due to its frailty, the Heavy-Duty Boots and Z-Move sets are extremely easy to revenge kill with faster Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny and Tapu Koko.

**Bulky Pokemon Not Weak to Coverage Moves**: Greninja suffers from four-moveslot syndrome, with every combination of coverage moves letting different Pokemon wall it. For example, picking Hydro Pump over Gunk Shot lets Tapu Fini wall Heavy-Duty Boots Greninja, but the reverse lets Heatran counter it.

Greninja is a potent threat that utilises Utilizes its Z-Moves and stellar coverage options alongside Protean to lure in checks to its Ash form, as well as being hard to check both defensively and offensively, due to its great speed tier and coverage moves. Very minor but id switch around "great speed tier" and "coverage moves" because you wrote it as "hard to check defensive and offensively" and having what makes it hard to check defensively first and offensively after makes more sense i think Dig allows Greninja to fire off a strong Tectonic Rage, luring and killing the likes of KOing Toxapex and Heatran. Doesnt lure Heatran in the slightest, a sane person is never switching in their Heatran on a Greninja. Low Kick alongside Fightinium Z lets Greninja use a powerful All Out Pummeling, allowing it to breaking through Blissey and a Chansey. Ice Beam lets Greninja hit Grass- and Dragon-types that normally pivot into it expecting its Ash form, such as Kommo-O, Amoonguss, (ac) and Hydreigon, as well as Ground-types such as Gliscor, Garchomp, (ac) and Landorus-T due to the sets lack of a Water-type move. fluff Gunk Shot nails the Fairy-types that would pester it such as Tapu Fini, Tapu Bulu, (ac) and Clefable. Lastly, Spikes lets Greninja pressure ots Its checks such as Mega Scizor. Expand more on the part about spikes, and how they bother other pokemon not just greninja's switch-ins

Greninja works well with teammates that appreciate it luring in the likes of Toxapex and Heatran, such as Mega Scizor and Serperior. Pokemon such as Gliscor, Urshifu-RS, and Mega Garchomp work well with it due to it luring and killing bulky Water- and Grass-types, such as Tapu Fini, Tangrowth, and Tapu Bulu. Greninja’s spike support also helps wear down opposing Pokemon such as Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Tapu Fini, which teammates such as Clefable, Tapu Koko, and Hydreigon appreciate teams for Pokemon such as Mega Latios. This part should be more elaborated on, and Mega Latios was an uncommon and bad example of Pokemon that take advantage of Greninjas Spike support. Due to Greninja’s lack of power other that than its coverage moves, it struggles to break through bulkier teams, its reliance on its Z-Move to break through Toxapex, Heatran and Chansey also means it can get easily walled once it has been used. Teammates that can consistently pressure these Pokemon such as Gliscor and Clefable work well with it. Lastly, due to Dig’s inability to hit certain Steel-types, Greninja struggles to break through the likes of Corviknight, Mega Scizor, and Skarmory, so Magnezone is a stellar partner alongside it. This part feels unfinished, mention how Magnezone traps Corviknight which lets Greninja's spikes stay up, aswell as how Greninja is able to act as speed control due to its speed tier being higher than common Pokemon such as Mega Latias, Kartana, Garchomp, and Serperior, aswell as Knock Off users such as Mega Mawile and Rillaboom being able to Knock Off Boots, which helps Greninjas Spikes actually matter.

Heavy Duty Boots Greninja is a threatening Spiker, being able to pressure the likes of Corviknight and Tapu Fini, as well as consistently lay down Spikes to pressure the opponent, and with Heavy Duty Boots it is hard to wear down. However, due to its lack of bulk and offensive prowness, it is easily walled and forced out, and oftentimes a healthy Corviknight can check it with ease, Defogging away its Spikes. Improves its lackluster longevity due to it ignoring opposing entry hazards, at the cost of dulling its offensive prowess. Hydro Pump lets Greninja pressure a chipped Corviknight, and is its main STAB move. All its moves are stab Gunk Shot lets Greninja pressure Tapu Fini greatly, in order to keep up its Spikes, as well as hit Tapu Bulu and Serperior harder. Meanwhile, Ice Beam lets Greninja nail Grass- and Dragon-types such as Rillaboomand add a space here Garchomp, as well as letting it revenge Kartana. U-Turn lets Greninja generate momentum on Pokemon that normally wall it such as Toxapex and Slowking, and bring in a teammate to take advantage of it examples?. Lastly, Spikes lets Greninja whittle down common switch-ins such as Toxapex, Amoonguss and Tangrowth, and excert a lot of pressure on opposing teams.

Greninja‘s great Speed tier allows Greninja to clean through weakened teams, so heavy hitters such as Melmetal, Garchomp, this is the last instance of this I'm gonna bother to correct, for future reference when you're listing more than 2 pokemon it should be X, Y, and Z, not X, Y and Z and Mega Medicham are amazing partners, Furthermore, Pokemon that abuse Greninja’s Spike stacking also work well with it, so Mega Latios and Gliscor are great teammates. Due to Greninja struggling to break through opposing hazard removal options such as Corviknight and Tapu Fini, Pokemon that can pressure these Pokemon and set hazards alongside it such as Garchomp, Heatran and Mega Diancie are stellar partners. Because of Greninja’s inability to break through bulky Steel-types such as Ferrothorn, Corviknight, and Mega-Scizor, Magnezone is an amazing partner with it as it removes these problematic Pokemon for it. Mention the trapping corv thing here again Pokemon that can threaten bulky Water-types such as Toxapex and Slowking also work well with it, as Greninja cant break through them normally, so Pokemon such as Kartana, Tapu Koko and Rillaboom are great partners. Choice Scarf Greninja is a potent revenge killer, utilising utilizing its Protean boosted coverage options as well as its blistering Speed tier to threaten a large amount of offensive threats. However, its low power outside of its coverage moves, as well as its frailty allow it to be easily checked defensively. Ice Beam allows Greninja to revenge the Ground-types such as Landorus, Gliscor and Mega Garchomp, as well as OHKOing Kartana. you mention this later on when explaining the ev spread U-Turn allows Greninja to pivot out off Pokemon that otherwise wall it, such as Toxapex, Corviknight and Mega Scizor, and preserve generate momentum on predicted switches. Rock Slide lets Greninja revenge a boosted Volcarona and Mega Charizard X, as well as a weakened Kyurem. Spikes lets Greninja pressure common switch-ins more examples, and wearing them down for its teammates. Gunk Shot lets Greninja nail Tapu Koko, Tapu Fini, Clefable, as well as OHKO Tapu Bulu and Serperior, which Ice Beam is unable to do. Low Kick gives Greninja a way to hit Heatran and Tyranitar, as well as revenge kill Mega Lopunny and Weavile. Grass Knot gives Greninja the ability to pressure Gastrodon as well as revenge kill Mega Swampert in rain. The given EV spread allows Greninja to OHKO Kartana with Ice Beam, while maximising its Speed and Attack to be as fast as possible.

Strong wallbreakers such as Mega Medicham and Mega Latios Mega Mawile (more meta relevant) appreciate the pivoting support Greninja brings Greninja's ability to pivot them in safely, as well as it luring Pokemon such as Toxapex, Heatran and Chansey to be taken advantage off by these strong breakers. Furthermore, its amazing speed tier allows it to revenge weakened Pokemon late game that have been worn down by its teammates. Due to its frailty, Greninja appreciates pivoting support from the likes of Corviknight, Landorus-T and Mega Scizor. Due to Greninja’s lack of way to punish most Steel-types, Magnezone is a stellar partner, being able to trap Pokemon such as Corviknight, and Mega Scizor and Aegislash, and forms a strong VoltTurn core with it. Heatran is also a good partner with it due to it being able to pressure the bulky Steel- and Water-types that Greninja lures in, as well as appreciating Greninja luring in Tapu Fini for it. Greninja is a potent threat that utilizes its stellar coverage options and its Z-Moves alongside Protean to lure in checks to its Ash other form such as Toxapex, Tapu Fini, and Blissey, as well as being hard to check both defensively and offensively due to its coverage moves and great speed tier. Dig allows Greninja to fire off a strong Tectonic Rage, luring and KOing the likes of Toxapex which tends to switch in due to being a check pivot to its Ash counterpart. Mention other Z-Ground targets like Mega Mawile and how it serves as a nice way to make up for Protean greninja's overall lack of power. Low Kick alongside Fightinium Z lets Greninja use a powerful All Out Pummeling, allowing it to break through Blissey and Chansey. Mention that both Z-moves don't leave Protean Greninja as fodder to Pokemon like Mega Tyranitar and Heatran. Ice Beam lets Greninja hit Grass- and Dragon-types that normally pivot into it expecting its Ash form, such as Kommo-O, Amoonguss, and Hydreigon, as well as Ground-types such as Gliscor, Garchomp and Landorus-T. Gunk Shot nails the Fairy-types that would pester it such as Tapu Fini, Tapu Bulu and Clefable. Lastly, Spikes lets Greninja pressure its checks such as Mega Scizor, as well as wear down opposing teams long term.

I think generally this paragraph feels like some moves are picked on it specifically to lure Ash-Gren counters, that is something very worth mentioning but I don't think that should be the main basis for mentioning them. Try to empahsize that point less.

Greninja works well with teammates that appreciate it luring in bulky Water- and Grass-types such as Tapu Fini, Tangrowth, and Tapu Bulu, as such, teammates like Weavile, Gliscor, Tapu Koko, and Urshifu-RS that can take advantage of these Pokemon being weakened and make for a fantastic pair with Greninja. Greninja’s spike support also helps wear down opposing Pokemon such as Toxapex, Heatran, Ferrothorn, and Tapu Fini, which teammates such as Clefable, Tapu Koko, and Hydreigon appreciate. Mention mons that like Toxapex being chipped down by spikes. Due to Greninja’s lack of power, it struggles to break through bulkier teams, and its reliance on its Z-Move to break through Toxapex, Heatran and Chansey also means it can get easily walled once it has been used. Teammates that can consistently pressure these Pokemon such as Gliscor and Clefable work well with it. Lastly, due to Dig’s inability to hit certain Steel-types, Greninja struggles to break through the likes of Corviknight, Mega Scizor and Skarmory, so Magnezone is a stellar partner alongside it, as well as preventing Corviknight from Defogging Greninja’s Spikes away. Due to its high Speed tier being faster than common Pokemon such as Garchomp, Kartana, Serperior and Mega Latias, it can act as sufficient Speed control for teams. You can give this speed tier point a mention in the paragraph above if you want, but it doesn't really belong here and it is not really a sufficient speed control for teams unless ur koko weavile mu is godlike which sounds pretty unrealistic as is. Knock Off users such as Mega Mawile and Rillaboom are also good partners as they can remove Heavy-Duty Boots from Pokemon such as Volcorona and Tapu Koko to ensure Greninja’s Spikes actually matter. Get better examples than Tapu Koko, I don't know what interaction would involve either of these Pokemon clicking Knock Off on a Tapu Koko.

[SET COMMENTS]
Heavy-Duty Boots Greninja is a potent Spiker, due to its offensive power discouraging many common defoggers such as Corviknight and Tapu Fini, allowing it to keep up its Spikes, and with Heavy-Duty Boots it improves its lackluster longevity due to it ignoring opposing entry hazards, at the cost of dulling its offensive prowess. Would mention its speed tier working in tandem with U-turn also make Heavy-duty boots appealing to use to make an annoying pivot mon. Hydro Pump lets Greninja pressure Corviknight. Doesn't pressure Corviknight at all. Mention better examples like Heatran, Victini, Mega Diancie and move this point after Gunk Shot. Also mention the cons of running this over Gunk. Gunk Shot lets Greninja pressure Tapu Fini, in order to keep up its Spikes, as well as hit Tapu Bulu and Serperior harder. Meanwhile, Ice Beam lets Greninja nail Grass- and Dragon-types such as Rillaboom and Garchomp, as well as letting it revenge Kartana. Mention the Ground-types it can also nail in the absence of Hydro Pump. U-Turn lets Greninja generate momentum on Pokemon that normally wall it such as Corviknight, Toxapex and Slowking, and bring in a teammate to take advantage of it like Kartana and Tapu Koko. Lastly, Spikes lets Greninja whittle down common switch-ins such as Toxapex, Amoonguss and Tangrowth, and excert a lot of pressure on opposing teams. Try and put a little more emphasis on this set being a pivot that can hazard stack since it comes off sounding similar to the set above otheriwse.

Greninja‘s great Speed tier allows Greninja it to clean through weakened teams, so heavy hitters such as Melmetal, Garchomp, and Mega Medicham are amazing partners, Furthermore, Pokemon that abuse Greninja’s Spike stacking also work well with it, so Mega Latios and Gliscor are great teammates. Due to Greninja struggling to break through opposing hazard removal options such as Corviknight and Tapu Fini, Pokemon that can pressure these Pokemon and set hazards alongside it such as Garchomp, Heatran and Mega Diancie are stellar partners. Because of Greninja’s inability to break through bulky Steel-types such as Ferrothorn, Corviknight, and Mega-Scizor, Magnezone is an amazing partner with it as it removes these problematic Pokemon for it, as well as preventing Corviknight from Defogging away Greninja’s Spikes. I would go a little more indepth with the Corviknight Magnezone Spike U-turn interaction here. Pokemon that can threaten bulky Water-types such as Toxapex and Slowking also work well with it, as Greninja cant break through them normally, so Pokemon such as Kartana, Tapu Koko and Rillaboom are great partners. Knock Off users such as Weavile and Toxapex are also good partners as they can remove Heavy-Duty Boots from Pokemon such as Volcorona and Tapu Koko to ensure Greninja’s Spikes are impactful. Get better examples than Tapu Koko, I don't know what interaction would involve either of these Pokemon clicking Knock Off on a Tapu Koko. Choice Scarf Greninja is a potent revenge killer, utilizing its coverage options as well as its blistering Speed tier to threaten a large amount of offensive threats. However, its low power outside of its coverage moves, as well as its frailty allow it to be easily checked defensively. Ice Beam allows Greninja to revenge Ground-types such as Landorus, Gliscor and Mega Garchomp. Mention it being able to threaten Dragon-types well as well. U-Turn allows Greninja to pivot out of Pokemon that otherwise wall it, such as Toxapex, Corviknight and Mega Scizor, and generage generate momentum on predicted switches. Rock Slide lets Greninja revenge a boosted Volcarona and Mega Charizard X, as well as a weakened Kyurem. Spikes let Greninja pressure common switch-ins such as Toxapex and Amoonguss more, and wearing them down for its teammates. The given EV spread allows Greninja to OHKO Kartana with Ice Beam.

Strong wallbreakers such as Mega Medicham and Mega Mawile appreciate Greninja's ability to pivot them in safely, as well as it luring on Pokemon switching into Greninja such as Toxapex, Heatran and Chansey to be taken advantage of by these strong breakers. Furthermore, its amazing speed tier allows it to revenge weakened Pokemon late game that have been worn down by its teammates. Due to its frailty, Greninja appreciates pivoting support from the likes of Corviknight, Landorus-T and Mega Scizor. Due to Greninja’s lack of way to punish most Steel-types, Magnezone is a stellar partner, being able to trap Pokemon such as Corviknight and Mega Scizor, and forms a strong VoltTurn core with it. Heatran is also a good partner with it due to it being able to pressure the bulky Steel- and Water-types that Greninja lures in, as well as appreciating Greninja luring in Tapu Fini for it. Its stellar Speed tier when boosted with a Choice Scarf allow it to revenge kill boosted Pokemon such as Volcarona, Mega Gyarados, Mega Garchomp, as well as other Choice Scarfers such as Landorus-T, Victini and Tapu Lele Jirachi.

Psychium Z with Extrasensory can be used on a specially based set, in order to remove Toxapex and Amoonguss, but due to both generally using specially biased sets, it struggles to break them without substantial chip. Expert Belt can be used in order to abuse its coverage to have much higher breaking power, but makes Greninja lose out on the nuking ability of Z-Moves, so much more prediction is required. Mention Waterium-z and its ability to pressure Corviknight especially. Also mention Hidden Power Fire as an option on the boots set, and ofc its pros and cons.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Steel-types**: Pokemon such as Mega Scizor, Corviknight and Ferrothorn are all formidable checks to Greninja as it struggles to break through them due to its inability to fit the coverage options it needs.

**Bulky Water-types**: Bulky Water-types such as Slowbro, and Slowking are hard for Greninja to break due to their high natural bulk as well as an inability to fit a coverage move to hit them hard enough most of the time. Toxapex can also check Greninja fairly well, but relies on it wasting its Z Move.

**Revenge Killers**: Due to its frailty, the Heavy-Duty Boots and Physical Z Move set is extremely easy to revenge kill by the likes of faster Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Landorus-T, Mega Lopunny and Tapu Koko.

**Priority**: Greninja’s low bulk means that priority like Grassy Glide Rillaboom and Fake Out Mega Medicham can easily KO it before it can retaliate.

Priority section feels relatively useless. Would also make a section on how one of its sets lacking a move can be very detrimental in a lot of mus, like Choice Scarf or boots not running gunk shot, z move not running low kick with z fight, etc.

**Four Moveslot Syndrome**: Greninja oftentimes lacks all the coverage it needs to bypass all of its usual checks, so depending on what move it decides to drop in exchange for different coverage, it will be walled by a different Pokemon, such as if it chooses not to run Gunk Shot in favour of Low Kick, it will leave Greninja open to being walled by the likes of Tapu Fini and Clefable. Mention the Gunk/Hydro trade as well since that one is rather big.

This even includes boosted Pokemon such as Volcarona, Mega Gyarados, and Mega Garchomp, as well as other Choice Scarf users like Landorus-T, Victini, and Tapu Lele. However, its low power outside of its coverage moves, as well as its frailty allow it to be on neutral hits and frailty leave it (I imagine you meant this?) easily checked defensively. Ice Beam allows Greninja to revenge kill Ground- and Dragon-types such as Landorus, Gliscor, Hydreigon, (AC) and Mega Garchomp. U-turn allows Greninja to pivot out of Pokemon that otherwise wall it, such as Toxapex, Corviknight, (AC) and Mega Scizor, and generate momentum on predicted switches. Rock Slide lets Greninja revenge kill a boosted Volcarona and Mega Charizard X, as well as a weakened Kyurem. Spikes let Greninja pressure pressures common switch-ins such as Toxapex and Amoonguss more, and wearing them down for its teammates. Gunk Shot lets Greninja nail nails Tapu Koko, Tapu Fini, and Clefable, as well as OHKOing Tapu Bulu and Serperior, which Ice Beam is unable to do. Low Kick gives Greninja a way to hit Heatran and Tyranitar, as well as revenge killing Mega Lopunny and Weavile. Grass Knot gives Greninja the ability to pressure Gastrodon as well as lets Greninja pressure Gastrodon and revenge kill Mega Swampert in rain. The given EV spread allows Greninja to OHKO Kartana with Ice Beam.

Strong wallbreakers such as Mega Medicham and Mega Mawile appreciate Greninja's ability to pivot them in safely on Pokemon switching in on Greninja Greninja safely pivoting them into its switch-ins such as Toxapex, Heatran and Chansey to be taken advantage of by these strong breakers. Furthermore, its amazing speed tier allows it to revenge weakened Pokemon late game that have been worn down by its teammates. Chansey, which they can take advantage of. Furthermore, offensive teammates broadly wear down Pokemon for Greninja, letting it revenge kill them late-game with its amazing Speed tier. Due to its frailty, Greninja appreciates pivoting support from the likes of Corviknight, Landorus-T, (AC) and Mega Scizor. Due to Greninja’s lack of way inability to punish most Steel-types, Magnezone is a stellar partner, being able to trap trapping and removing Pokemon such as Corviknight and Mega Scizor, and forms Scizor while forming a strong VoltTurn core with it. Heatran is also a good partner with it due to it being able to pressure pressures the bulky Steel- and as well as Water-types that Greninja lures in, as well as notably appreciating Greninja luring in Tapu Fini for it. Its stellar Speed tier when boosted with a Choice Scarf allow it to revenge kill boosted Pokemon such as Volcarona, Mega Gyarados, Mega Garchomp, as well as other Choice Scarfers such as Landorus-T, Victini and Tapu Lele.

Psychium Z with Extrasensory can be used on a specially based set, in order specially-based set to remove Toxapex and Amoonguss, but due to both generally using specially biased sets, since both generally invest in Special Defense, it struggles to break them without substantial chip damage. Expert Belt can be used in order to abuse its coverage to have with Greninja's great coverage for much higher wallbreaking power, but makes Greninja lose out on the nuking ability of Z-Moves, so lacking a Z-Move means much more prediction is required. Waterium Z (removed hyphen) can also be used on a specially-biased (added hyphen) set to pressure Corviknight while also functioning as a one-time nuke, and provide a nuke generally, although it leaves Greninja helpless against the likes of Blissey and Toxapex. Hidden Power Fire can also be used over Gunk Shot or Hydro Pump on the Heavy-Duty Boots set to pressure Ferrothorn, Mega Scizor, (AC) and Corviknight, but leaves you walled by Tapu Fini and lets Mega Diancie constantly pivot into you to bounce back your Spikes. lets Tapu Fini wall it and Mega Diancie constantly pivot into Spikes.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Steel-types**: Pokemon such as Mega Scizor, Corviknight, (AC) and Ferrothorn are all formidable checks to Greninja, (AC) as it struggles to break through them due to its inability to fit the coverage options it needs to being walled by them period. fit the coverage moves to stop them from walling it outright.

**Bulky Water-types**: Bulky Water-types such as Slowbro, and Slowking are hard for Greninja to break due to their high natural bulk as well as an inability to fit a coverage move to hit them hard enough most of the time. Slowbro and Slowking don't take too much from the coverage moves that Greninja easily fits. (I imagine this still makes sense?) Toxapex can also check Greninja fairly well, but relies on it wasting its Z Move. Due to all of them having Regenerator, it makes it much easier for them to pivot into Greninja as they can passively heal of the damage dealt. it can't take Tectonic Rage. All of these Water-types having Regenerator makes it much easier for them to continually pivot into Greninja.

**Revenge Killers**: Due to its frailty, the Heavy-Duty Boots and Physical Z Move set is extremely easy to revenge kill by the likes of Z-Move sets are extremely easy to revenge kill with faster Pokemon such as Mega Lopunny and Tapu Koko. (removed extra linebreak under)

Choosing between Hydro Pump and Gunk Shot on Heavy Duty Boots Greninja is also a big choice, due to it being walled by different things depending on what it drops.

**Varying Bulky Pokemon**: Greninja suffers from four-moveslot syndrome, with every combination of coverage moves letting different Pokemon wall it. For example, picking Hydro Pump over Gunk Shot lets Tapu Fini wall Heavy-Duty Boots Greninja, but the reverse lets Heatran counter it.

Waterium-Z Greninja is a potent Spiker that trades in the Physical Z-Move set's lure potential for a nuke option, removing Defogger's such as Corviknight, Gliscor and Zapdos, allowing it to stack multiple layers of Spikes successfully. Hydro Pump in conjunction with Waterium-Z gives Greninja a terrifying Hydro Vortex which dents neutral targets, and removes the likes of Heatran and Corviknight after minor chip, preventing them from taking advantage of Greninja. Gunk Shot disposes of Grass- and Fairy-types such as Serperior, Tapu Fini, and Tapu Lele that normally pressure it out. Having the option to nuke CM Clef doesn’t hurt either, and mention that the poisoning chance is huge for breaking studf like Rotom-W and Mega Latias. Hidden Power Fire pressures Steel-types such as Mega Scizor, Corviknight, and Ferrothorn which otherwise wall it. Lastly, Spikes takes advantage of Greninja's solid offensive presence and wear down the opposing team for it and its teammates. Mention that Spikes doesn’t leave it deadweight in matchups such as against Toxapex

Due to Greninja's potency as a Spiker, it works extremely well with teammates such as Mega Lopunny, Gliscor, and Mega Mawile who greatly value the Spikes wearing down their checks. Serperior and Volcarona are also great partners as they great appreciate Greninja luring luring? that implies Heatran is switching into Greninja which isn’t um the best play in their biggest check in Heatran. Due to this Greninja set being walled by Toxapex, Tapu Lele and Gliscor make for excellenrt partners alongside it as they can take advantage of Toxapex and force it out. Kartana, Tapu Koko, and Garchomp also appreciate it luring Grass-types such as Ferrothorn and Tangrowth. They also like to abuse Toxapex. Lastly, the aforementioned Garchomp, Heatran, and Clefable form a formidable entry hazard stacking defensive core that can overwhelm the opposing team.

Dig allows Greninja to fire off a strong Tectonic Rage and KO the likes of Toxapex, which tends to switch in due to being a pivot check to Battle Bond Greninja. It also hits the likes of Mega Mawile and Heatran and makes up for Greninja's general lack of power. Low Kick alongside Fightinium Z enables a powerful All-Out Pummeling, allowing it to break through Blissey and Chansey. Both Z-Moves make sure Greninja isn’t left as fodder to is able to beat Pokemon like Mega Tyranitar and Mega Mawile.

Due to Greninja’s lack of power, it struggles to break through bulkier teams, notably relying on a Z-Move to break through Toxapex, Heatran, and Chansey. Teammates Chansey; teammates that can consistently pressure these Pokemon such as Gliscor and Clefable work well with it.

Heavy-Duty Boots Greninja is a potent Spiker, with its offensive power discouraging many common Defoggers such as Corviknight and Tapu Fini from coming in, and Heavy-Duty Boots improving its lackluster longevity, even if dulling its offensive prowess.

Greninja‘s great Speed tier allows it to clean through against weakened teams, so heavy hitters such as Melmetal, Garchomp, and Mega Medicham are amazing partners. Mega Latios and Gliscor greatly appreciate Greninja's Spikes-stacking Spikes stacking wearing down their checks. Since Greninja struggles to break through opposing entry hazard removers such as Corviknight and Tapu Fini, Pokemon that can pressure them such as Garchomp, Heatran, and Mega Diancie are stellar partners, and they also pair Stealth Rock with its Spikes. Because Greninja can't to break through bulky Steel-types such as Ferrothorn, Corviknight, and Mega Scizor, Magnezone is amazing to remove these problematic Pokemon for it, as well as preventing Corviknight from clearing its Spikes with Defog. Greninja lures Corviknight in by setting Spikes, uses U-turn on the Defog turn, and brings Magnezone in, letting Magnezone trap and eliminate Corviknight for Greninja to continuously set Spikes later. (period) Pokemon that can threaten bulky Water-types such as Toxapex and Slowking, such as Kartana, Tapu Koko, and Rillaboom, also work well with Greninja, such as Kartana, Tapu Koko, and Rillaboom, as it can't normally break through them either. Knock Off users such as Rillaboom and Toxapex can remove Heavy-Duty Boots from Pokemon such as Volcorona, Tapu Koko, Blissey, and Slowbro to ensure Greninja’s Spikes are impactful make Greninja's Spikes more impactful.
