[SET]
Glis (Gliscor) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Level: 50
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Protect
[SET COMMENTS]
* With its great typing and incredible longevity thanks to Poison Heal, Gliscor is a frustratingly potent defensive threat in Regulation E.

* **Toxic**: Gliscor is one of few Pokemon to be given Toxic via TM, allowing it to put opposing walls on a timer while it stays healthy itself.

* **Protect + Substitute**: Stalling turns with Protect + Substitute allows Gliscor to keep itself healthy despite not having access to a manual healing move. This also pairs well with Toxic to keep Gliscor safe as the opponent succumbs to poison.

* **Earthquake**: Earthquake allows Gliscor to threaten Steel- and Poison-types that are otherwise immune to its Toxic-stalling antics.

Other Options
=========

* **Knock Off**: Knock Off’s item removal can allow Gliscor to be more of a team player, removing items such as Leftovers and Rocky Helmet to assist a teammate’s sweep.

* **Baton Pass**: Gliscor’s immense longevity makes it particularly well suited to passing Substitutes, bolstering its team’s defense while giving them turns to set up.

EV Spreads
==========
* **252 HP / 180 Def / 76 Spe with Impish**: This Spread outspeeds Adamant Breloom while maintaining good physical bulk.

* **252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe With with**: Maximizing Speed allows Gliscor to be more of a nuisance against faster-paced teams at the cost of some survivability.

Tera Types
=========
* **Water**: Tera Water gives Gliscor crucial Ice- and Water-type resistances, allowing it to get emergency Toxics off against threats like Baxcalibur and Urshifu-R.

* **Steel**: Tera Steel allows Gliscor to resist Ice-, Fairy-, and Dragon-type moves, giving it increased survivability against a wider array of threats, but Steel leaves it more vulnerable to Fighting-types like Urshifu and Fire-types like Ogerpon-H.

* **Fairy**: Tera Fairy gives Gliscor a Dragon immunity, allowing it to stand in the way of threats like Garchomp and Baxcalibur, and block attempts to bypass Substitute with Scale Shot while maintaining its Fighting-type resistance for Urshifu.

Gliscor has a few cool moves, but the nature of its ability kinda necessitates the default moveset or very close, so I fully agree. Although I do just have a question. Even w/ a fairly good Atk(not great at all,) w/o investment, for obvious reasons, could one opt for Bulldoze? That's a move you see here and there, but for the most part I have a poor understanding of what can run it well. If it's ok it can go in other options hopefully.

EDIT: May matter it has x2 the PP. So it's more damage if you hang around long enough for PP to start counting(this is rare but tbh so is Gliscor spamming EQ to begin w/.)

- the AC that you put in in the protect + substitute bullet shouldn't be there, as the comma isn't ending off a list or pairing two independent clauses together. if you put the comma in, the sentence would need to be something like "Gliscor can stall turns with Protect + Substitute, and this allows it to keep itself healthy..." - notice that "Gliscor can stall with SubTect" and "This allows it to keep itself healthy..." both work as their own sentences.
- the AC on the first EV spread shouldn't be there. commas only come before "while" when it's comparing two things, ie. "Dialga-O's Draco Meteor can OHKO Miraidon, while Revelation Dance completely shuts down Normalize Flutter Mane" vs "Jungle Healing allows Arceus-Ghost to heal while shaking off annoying status like poison".
- the change on ice, fairy, and dragon isn't wrong but it also isn't strictly necessary; "Tera Fairy grants Gliscor an immunity to Dragon" works just fine.
