Votes are closed! and the winners are:

:ss/vikavolt:

Vikavolt [Optimized]
Abilities
: Levitate / Technician
Stats: 100 / 70 / 90 / 145 / 90 / 61 [556 BST]
Added Moves: U-turn, Defog, Hurricane
Summary of Changes: +23 HP, +15 Spdef, +18 Speed
Description/Role: Better bulk and speed improve its defensive utilty and wallbreaking potential and uturn provides safer pivoting then volt switch. Technician gives it a stronger HP Ice and Electroweb (and Mud Shot ig lol).
NotCopen's Vikavolt!

:ss/escavalier:

Escavalier [Optimized]
Abilities
: Swarm / Shield Dust / Filter
Stats: 80 / 135 / 105 / 60 / 105 / 40 [525 BST]
Added Moves: Recover, U-Turn, Earthquake
Summary of Changes: +10 HP, +20 Spe
Description/Role: shield dust is p cool to not get burned by pex. 40 speed is p cool to outspeed pex. eq is p cool to hit pex harder. filter and uturn and recover are also there.
anaconja's Escavalier! Congrats!

and, since it was so close, there's a tie, between Endrism's and r1dude's Accelgors! Vote for your favourite out of these 2 subs, the first vote casted will break the tie! (NO self-vote)

If NotCopen’s vote isn’t allowed due to them already voting this slate, it wouldn’t matter because I’d also vote Endrism for the tiebreak

And with that,
:ss/accelgor:

Accelgor [Optimized]
Abilities
: Unburden | Infiltrator
Stats: 80 / 60 / 80 / 105 / 80 / 145 (550 BST)
Added Moves: Dark Pulse, Nasty Plot
Summary of Changes: -10 ATK +40 DEF +5 SPA +20 SPD
Description/Role: Believed to be based on a ninja, why not let it take that stand by applying the dark type as it lurks in the shadows waiting to strike. Just when the opponent though they were safe, the ninja sneaks right passed substitute to strike when you least expect it. Able to utilize Nasty Plot and its new stab Dark Pulse to outpace and kill things like Dragapult with ease, however be wary of swapping into Pult risking a hefty Flamethrower as although its bulk is better than it used to be, it still isn't a very bulky pokemon so watch out.
Endrism's Accelgor takes the dub! Congrats to all the winners!

Discussion Phase will start now and will last 24 hours (approximately).

4th Slate: Cool, Cooler, Coolest.
:sm/lapras::sm/avalugg::sm/aurorus:

The chillest slate yet haha (now you can murder me) but yeah, interesting, cool, and beautiful Pokemon, that fall apart/aside, mostly because of the burdenous Ice type, that hinders itself only by existing, while simultaneously being one of the best offensive types in the game, they deserve better, and we are going to give it to them.

Like the last slate, the point is to buff the Ice type, so any type changes can not remove it.

Submission Phase will last 6/7 days.

Note: There is a good chance these are broken. But what do you really expect from me by now, I can't balance for shit.

:ss/lapras:

Lapras [Optimized]
Abilities: Water Absorb / Ice Body / Hydration
Stats: 130 / 55 / 90 / 115 / 115 / 60 [565 BST]
Added Moves: Recover, Aurora Veil
Summary of Changes: -30 Atk, +10 Def, +30 SpA, +20 SpD
Description/Role: Lapras still fulfils it's role as a bulky Water type, although now even better thanks to reliable recovery and buffed bulk across the board. It's special attack got a large boost, allowing it to deal much more damage, along with coverage like Thunderbolt and Psychic Aurora Veil, for some reason, it didn't get despite it's GMax move setting it, so that's been given along with Ice Body to help fit onto Hail teams too.

:ss/avalugg:

Avalugg [Optimized]
Abilities: Own Tempo / Ice Body / Sturdy
Stats: 105 / 117 / 184 / 44 / 65 / 18 [534 BST]
Added Moves: Icicle Crash,
Summary of Changes: +10 HP, +20 SpD, -10 Spe
Description/Role: Avalugg actually already has an OU set thanks to it's absolutely stupid physical bulk. All I've done here is increase it's special bulk, and slightly increase the physical side through a small HP boost. The Speed drop is to keep the BST sort of reasonable, but does power up Gyro Ball if you wish to go that route.

:ss/aurorus:

Aurorus [Optimized]
Abilities: Refrigerate / Snow Warning
Stats: 123 / 97 / 72 / 119 / 92 / 97 [600 BST]
Added Moves: Power Gem, Diamond Storm, Icicle Crash
Summary of Changes: +20 Atk, +20 SpA, +39 Spe
Description/Role: Aurorus is a fossil, I'm not adding the Dragon Typing. It now has new tools in Diamond Storm and Power Gem. The former being stronger and having a chance to raise defense, the latter hitting off of the better attacking stat. Icicle Crash lets it go full Physical with STAB if it wants. It has buffed offenses on both sides, but with an awful typing this thing probably still sucks

:ss/lapras:

Lapras [Optimized]
Abilities: Water Absorb / Shell Armor / Swift Swim
Stats: 130 / 75 / 80 / 95 / 95 / 80 [555 BST]
Added Moves: Flip Turn
Summary of Changes: -10 Atk, +10 SpA, +20 Spe
Description/Role: water/ice is not a good defensive typing so we're going with a more offensive route. hydro pump + freeze-dry is a great stab combo with it hitting basically every mon and swift swim gives it equally good speed tier.

:ss/avalugg:

Avalugg [Optimized]
Abilities: Scrappy / Filter / Sturdy
Stats: 95 / 117 / 184 / 44 / 66 / 28 [534 BST]
Added Moves: Icicle Crash, Liquidation, Knock Off
Summary of Changes: +20 SpD
Description/Role: avalugg feels quite ass because its easy to wall and easy to force it into recover loops. scrappy and extra moves fixes the former and filter somewhat fixes the latter.

:ss/aurorus:

Aurorus [Optimized]
Abilities: Refrigerate / Snow Warning
Stats: 123 / 77 / 92 / 109 / 92 / 28 [521 BST]
Added Moves: Boomburst, Power Gem
Summary of Changes: +20 Def, +10 SpA, -30 Spe
Description/Role: incredibly strong mon that nevertheless requires tr because of its abysmal speed and defensive typing.

:ss/lapras:

Lapras [Optimized]
Abilities: Water Absorb / Thick Fat / Hydration
Stats: 130 / 105 / 95 / 105 / 95 / 70 [600 BST]
Added Moves: Icicle Crash, Thunder Wave, Flip Turn, Swords Dance
Summary of Changes: +20 Atk, +15 Def, +20 SpA, +10 Spe
Description/Role: Icicle Crash gives Lapras an actual physical ice stab that isnt Avalache so it can abuse DD and now SD. Twave and Flip Turn greatly reduce it's passivity on defensive sets while Thick Fat gives it a valuable resistance to fire.

:lapras:

Lapras [Optimized]
Abilities: Water absorb, Shell armor, Technician
Stats: 130/105 (+20) /80/85/95/60 Bst: 555
Added Moves: Aqua jet, Swords dance
Summary of Changes: Ability added, no stats changed, moves added
Description/Role: This thing is actually pretty scary once setup bulldoze actually destroys pex but aside from pex its primary checks are limited to bulky waters like fini and ferrothorn. Once its checks are removed however it can be a pretty effective cleaner.

Aurorus [Optimized]
Abilities
: Magic Guard / Prism Armor / Snow Warning
Stats: 123 / 67 / 72 / 129 / 81 / 98 [570 BST]
Added Moves: Power Gem, Volt Switch
Summary of Changes: + 30 SpA, + 40 Spe, - 10 Atk, - 11 SpD
Description/Role: I'll be honest, I have no idea how yall think a slow Rock / Ice type with middling special attack and defenses is optimized. Aurorus needs some serious buffs to pull itself from being a gimmick in ZU. With a huge buff to both Speed and Special Attack, Auororus has somewhat serviceable stats. 98 Spe isn't the best Speed tier, but it's good enough that Aurorus might be usable over Ninetales given that it compresses Veil, Rocks, and now pivoting with Volt Switch (which slower ground Types will never want to switch in on). Outside of being a veil bot, Magic Guard patches the rocks weakness and makes Auororus incredibly difficult to switch into. However, it's defensive typing still sucks, so try and stay on the offensive when using this mon.

:ss/lapras:

Lapras [Optimized]
Abilities
: Water Absorb / Thick Fat / Simple
Stats: 130 / 85 / 80 / 85 / 95 / 75 [550 BST]
Added Moves: Calm Mind, Dragon Hammer, Flip Turn, Heart Swap, Icicle Crash, Recover, Taunt, Wild Charge
Summary of Changes: + 15 Spe
Description/Role: I took my idea for Lapras from the CAP Naviathan - A Pokémon that has two ways of boosting that are equally viable. While I don't think that Lapras will end up as viable as Naviathan (which isn't even viable in SS CAP), it may find a place in UU or RU. Its new Dragon / Ice typing changes its Grass and Electric weaknesses into resistances, which are more important than neutrality to Dragon and Fairy. It can use either Thick Fat or Water Absorb to help set up, but the real prize is Simple. In one turn, Lapras can either boost to + 2 Spe and Atk with Dragon Dance, or to + 2 SpA and SpD with Calm Mind. To this end, it has been given better coverage to enable two move attacking sets, with either Taunt or Recover as the last move. Again, probably not OU but definitely not bottom tier anymore.

:ss/avalugg:

Avalugg [Optimized]
Abilities
: Flash Fire / Ice Body / Sturdy
Stats: 95 / 117 / 184 / 50 / 76 / 28 [550 BST]
Added Moves: Icicle Crash, Swords Dance
Summary of Changes: +6 SpA, + 30 SpD
Description/Role: While the Steel typing means you can no longer wall Grounds or take stray fighting type moves, it does give Avalugg many more opportunities to fit into teams as it's no longer only coming in on neutral physical attackers. I wish Heatproof gave immunity to Fire attacks, because it has way better flavor, but it doesn't so here's Flash Fire. This allows Avalugg to pivot on Heatrans and blacephalons, and with improved SpD it can survive their other attacks. Swords Dance is funny as Avalugg actually has a lot of high power attacks. Again, probably not reaching OU, but it's way better at its niche.

Fighting

Avalugg [Optimized]
Abilities
: Own Tempo / Ice Body / Sturdy
Stats: 105 / 117 / 184 / 44 / 46/ 28 [534 BST]
Added Moves: Icicle Crash
Summary of Changes: No changes to stats.
Description/Role: Avalugg needs very little to get to OU, and this buff certainly helps it a lot. Body press hits like an absolute nuke that is capable of hitting stuff for nuclear damage, but still has its fair share of checks to its name. ice fighting is also surprisingly good on it, as it removes its stealth rock weakness and overall helps it really mess up with various types of physical attackers in the tier such as weavile, garchomp, landorus and more, at the cost of losing matchups against types that it already struggled against such as flying or psychic. Overall just a very strong wall that isn't passive anymore, but still can be checked via status and just hitting hard from the special side.

Aurorus-Optimized
Typing: Rock/Ice
Abilities: Refrigerate, Snow Warning
Stats: 120 HP / 70 Atk / 75 Def / 120 SpA / 95 SpD / 105 Spe (585 BST)
New Move: Power Gem
Summary of Changes: -2 HP, -7 Atk, +3 Def, +21 SpA, +3 SpD, +47 Spe
Description/Role:
The dino is now incredibly fast. As a side effect, it means it's more likely to pop an Aurora Veil before an opponent's move, but that's ignoring the main course. Along with the SpA buff, this is one of the first mons that can actually fucking use Power Gem effectively, and it's always nice to reinforce the viability of the only base form Refrigerate mon.

Aurorus actually doesn’t get Power Gem because game design, you might want to add that

48 hour warning, great subs so far everybody!

also, be prepared for the 5th slate, it'll be the first special slate for the mod.

:ss/lapras:

Lapras [Optimized]
Abilities: Water Absorb/Sheer Force/Hydration
Stats: 110/95/80/95/95/70 [BST: 545]
Added Moves: Power Whip, Nasty Plot
Summary of Changes: +10 speed, - 20hp, +10atk/spatk
Description/Role: a Nasty set up that can either run a physical or special set, although its hp is significantly reduced, lapras still able to take neutral hits well and get some dd or np up. Power Whip enable you to hit water types when you run physical set. 95/95 attacking stats aren't good but I believe it can be threatening when paired with 2 of the best setup moves in the game and Sheer Force.

Submission phase is over! the vetos are:

:ss/lapras:

Lapras [Optimized]
Abilities
: Water Absorb / Thick Fat / Simple
Stats: 130 / 85 / 80 / 85 / 95 / 75 [550 BST]
Added Moves: Calm Mind, Dragon Hammer, Flip Turn, Heart Swap, Icicle Crash, Recover, Taunt, Wild Charge
Summary of Changes: + 15 Spe

the DD sets are almost fine, the real problem here is CM sets with full def investment is almost unbreakable, remove calm mind and reduce attack a little bit and it should be fine

:lapras:

Lapras [Optimized]
Abilities: Water absorb, Shell armor, Technician
Stats: 130/85/80/85/95/60 Bst: 535
Added Moves: Aqua jet, Belly drum
Summary of Changes: Ability added, no stats changed, moves added
Description/Role: This thing is actually pretty scary once setup bulldoze actually destroys pex but aside from pex its primary checks are limited to bulky waters like fini and ferrothorn. Once its checks are removed however it can be a pretty effective cleaner.
after calcing around a little, i've deemed this a pretty strong breaker, extremely hard to wall if not bringing a dedicated check, extremely hard to revenge kill due to the double priority and the speed control brought by bulldoze, its really hard to switch into, has a LOT of opportunities to set up due to really good bulk and not awful typing, yadda yadda, remove belly drum, replace it by SD and up its attack a lil' bit for ya troubles

:ss/lapras:

Lapras [Optimized]
Abilities: Water Absorb/Water Bubble/Hydration
Stats: 130/85/80/85/95/70 [BST: 545]
Added Moves: Power Whip
Summary of Changes: +10 speed
Description/Role: Now dragon dance lapras is actually viable, although still need +2 to outspeed almost everything, its damage output in water attacks can't be ignored. Power Whip let you hit water types ofc.
the only other Water Bubble user has 70/50/42 offenses and no way to boost itself, this bolsters 85/85/70 offenses and one of the best boosting moves in the game, remove water bubble.

Veto Phase will last 24 hours, or until all vetoed subs are fixed/discarded.
