Hello! It's been a while since my last RMT, and boy have I been busy. A week before, I was experimenting with different Pokemon sets, and stumbled upon Scarf Kyurem-White. After testing a bit and making a team, I got some pretty impressive results!
As you can see, I got into top 50!(so far *smug*)It's probably going to be my highest record ever. Now that I'm done pushing, I think it's time I show my team publicly. Enjoy!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before I get into the main part, I'll explain a bit about how this team works. Kyurem-White and Zacian are the main damage dealers, with Kyurem-W having massive coverage and good speed with Scarf and Zacian with it's blazing speed and useful coverage that helps out with Kyurem-White for dealing with Pokemon. Yveltal, Necrozma-DM, Eternatus and Ditto are all defensive, helping chip down the enemy and be reliable switch-ins for when Kyurem-White or Zacian get walled because of Scarf. There's generally a lot of switching, and there's a need for prediction to work well, but considering the decent bulk of all these Pokemon, there isn't too big of a problem. When playing, it's also good to see if a Pokemon is still needed(defensive), because Kyurem-White has a decently hard time switching in, sacrificing a Pokemon to let it come in safely can potentially be game changing.

Kyurem-White @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Turboblaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Freeze-Dry
- Fusion Flare
- Earth Power
The first and oddest main damage dealer of the team. With it's four moves, there's is no Pokemon alive that can resist all of them. Draco Meteor is a powerful move that can provide the extra kick needed that Dragon Pulse cannot do. It's most notable for hitting opposing Kyurem-White super effectively, which is a pretty big wall to it. Freeze-Dry is the main move used, as it hits Kyogre, it's main switch in, and other popular Pokemon like Zygarde, Eternatus, Groudon and Zekrom incredibly hard, thanks to STAB jacking up the power. Fusion Flare is useful for hitting Steel types like Zacian-C and Necrozma-DM, 2 common switch ins to it. Earth Power is sort of a filler move, but sometimes it's works better with Scarf as it isn't resisted by Eternatus and Zekrom. Scarf and max Speed investment makes it faster than any unboosted Pokemon, and max SpAtk is for maximum damage. It performs well generally throughout a game, but it's partial Ice typing makes it vulnerable to quite a lot of Pokemon. More on that later.
Necrozma-Dusk-Mane @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Prism Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Sunsteel Strike
- Knock Off
- Morning Sun
The physically defensive Pokemon of the team. A almost mandatory Pokemon on any team, this Pokemon has saved me through a lot of scrapes. It helps with the incredibly hard matchup against Zacian-C, opposing DD Necrozma-DM, and general physical threats. The set is the standard Defensive set, with Stealth Rock helping provide extra damage, Sunsteel Strike to use against Fairy types like Xerneas and Zacian-C, Knock Off for item removal, and Morning Sun to keep Necrozma-DM healthy. The EVs are for maximum bulk. It's probably the most useful Pokemon on my team, aside from Ditto.
Yveltal @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Dark Aura
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Defog
- Roost
Specially defensive Pokemon. Another staple on a team, this Pokemon is like Necrozma-DM, but on the special side. Standard SpDef set, with Knock Off for item removal, U-Turn to safely pivot into another Pokemon, Defog to provide support to Kyurem-White, which hates Stealth Rock, and Roost to stay healthy. This Pokemon checks Calyrex-S, as usual, and other Pokemon like Eternatus, Kyogre(non-Ice Beam/Thunder), and can deal with opposing Necrozma-DM. Pretty useful overall, saved me quite a bit.
Ditto @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Imposter
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Transform
Ditto, the anti set up Pokemon. I can't tell you how many times this Pokemon helped me not get sweeped, and even reverse sweeped. This Pokemon is just incredible in AG, especially with the set up mons like Zygarde, CM Kyogre, DD Zekrom rising in popularity. It helps against some hard matchups too, like against Geomancy Xerneas and Zacian-C. Standard revenge killer set. Arguably better than Necrozma-DM, saved me from a bunch of situations, and helps break through the enemy.
Zacian @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intrepid Sword
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Play Rough
- Close Combat
- Crunch
- Wild Charge
The second damage dealer of the team. I considered using Choice Band for extra damage, but Scarf came in handy way more times than Band. Overshadowed by it's Steel/Fairy version of Zacian-C, this Pokemon is back for revenge. It's Play Rough destroys Yveltal, outspeeds even at +1, and destroys Dragon types too. Close Combat hits pretty hard generally, mostly used for neutral targets. Crunch deals decent damage, and with the potential Defense drop, even Necrozma-DM has to be careful with taking a hit. Wild Charge hits Kyogre and Ho-Oh incredibly hard, and the recoil isn't too bad. With scarf and max Speed investment, it outspeeds most Pokemon even at +1 Speed. It hits hard, synergizes well with Kyurem-White with it attacking Physically, and overall is incredible. As an added bonus, Ditto has to risk getting hit first thanks to Scarf.
Eternatus @ Black Sludge
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 164 SpD / 92 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dynamax Cannon
- Flamethrower
- Toxic
- Recover
The second line of defense in the team. It's helped out quite a bit thanks to it's useful typing helping to tank Fire type moves and Electric type moves. Standard SpDef set, Dynamax Cannon is STAB and hits quite hard, Flamethrower hits Zacian-C and Necrozma-DM quite well. Toxic is useful as it can't miss and puts a timer on the enemy, and Recover is a solid "recover"y move. With Pressure and Black Sludge, along with it's decent bulk, it can outstall Stall Pokemon like Toxapex, and absorbs Toxic Spikes as a bonus.
My team is not without flaws, but it performs well against the general team. With proper switching and prediction, this team can work incredibly well.
Anyways, that's all for my RMT. Feel free to post improvements! Thanks for reading!
