Gastrodon has seen a surge in usage over the past couple of months for its ability to take on certain metagame titans. Gastrodon has an amazing Water / Ground typing that, when coupled with its amazing bulk, lets it combat Mega Latios, Magearna, and most variants of Heatran. Its typing also makes it stand out as one of the few Water-types that isn't weak to Electric-type attacks, which ultimately lets it take on Electric-types such as Tapu Koko, something a lot of teams appreciate. Its ability Storm Drain is also a blessing, as it lets Gastrodon successfully combat Ash-Greninja, something most Pokemon simply can't. Access to reliable recovery in Recover lets it constantly switch into these Pokemon and keep them at bay. Gastrodon struggles against Grass-types, which makes Pokemon that can take them on, such as Heatran and Tornadus-T, great partners.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-gen7ou-380424 Gastrodon consistently keeps Gliscor low in this replay, which allowed for the rest of the team to deal with it.

This is now ready for qc! If anyone has a recent replay of Gastrodon walling other Pokemon than just Greninja (ie Tapu Koko, Magearna, Heatran etc.) that'd be greatly appreciated.

The first 2 sentences sound kinda repetitive and I was thinking you could merge them but looking back at it I can kinda see what structure you were going for, maybe try something like not giving examples at first (smt smt check metagame titans that threaten a variety of teams in the current meta or something) and then list the actual examples in the next few sentence as you did. Semantics aside this looks pretty good, I probs wouldnt mention a “recent surge” at the very beginning cause its been a while already and its gonna be even longer when this gets published but thats up to u, 1/1
