[OVERVIEW]
Galarian Stunfisk's unique typing and great bulk make it a solid switch-in to attackers like Ribombee, Togedemaru, and Vikavolt, giving it a solid niche over other Ground- and Steel-types like Palossand and Silvally-Steel. It can also further support its team with Stealth Rock and other support moves like Yawn. However, while its typing is at times great, it can also be a hinderance when trying to switch into threats like Frosmoth and Lycanroc that Steel- and Ground-types, respectively, usually check. Its lack of reliable recovery also makes it quite easy to overwhelm.

[SET]
name: Specially Defensive
move 1: Stealth Rock
move 2: Earthquake
move 3: Rock Slide / Stone Edge
move 4: Yawn / Pain Split
item: Leftovers
ability: Mimicry
nature: Careful
evs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]
Rock Slide allows Galarian Stunfisk to beat Bug- and Flying-types like Ribombee and Archeops more reliably, although Stone Edge can also be used to always knock Archeops into Defeatist range. Yawn prevents Pokemon like Tsareena and Palossand from freely switching into Galarian Stunfisk, while Pain Split gives it a mean of recovery, albeit unreliable. Aromatisse makes for a stellar partner thanks to ability to switch into threats like Scrafty for Galarian Stunfisk; it can also heal it back up with Wish, which it greatly appreciates. In return, Galarian Stunfisk checks Steel-types like Togedemaru and Silvally-Steel for Aromatisse. Similarly, Weezing and Garbodor can take on Fighting-types such as Toxicroak and Passimian that it struggles against. Lastly, wallbreakers and setup sweepers like Choice Specs Alolan Exeggutor and Cosmic Power Xatu appreciate Galarian Stunfisk providing them with more opportunities to come in via Yawn.

Galarian Stunfisk's unique typing and great bulk make it a solid switchin to attackers like Ribombee, Togedemaru, and Vikavolt. I would like to get something else to further emphasize how unique its typing is and how well it checks things not much else does. no clue how to expand this though and it's pretty fine as is, just feels like it's missing a stronger explanation of why it's defensively unique aside from "it beats these 3" It can also further support its team with Stealth Rock and other support moves like Yawn. However, while its typing is at times great, it can also be a hinderance when trying to switch into threats like Vanilluxe and Lycanroc that Steel- and Ground-types, respectively, usually check. Its lack of reliable recovery also makes it quite easy to overwhelm.

Rock Slide allows Galarian Stunfisk to beat attackers what "attackers"? just say Bug- and Flying-types like Ribombee more reliably, although Stone Edge can also be used to always knock Archeops into Defeatist range. Yawn prevents Pokemon like Virizion and Palossand from freely switching into Galarian Stunfisk, while Pain Split gives it a mean of recovery, albeit unreliable. Vaporeon makes for a stellar partner thanks to ability to switch into threats like Charizard and Lycanroc for Galarian Stunfisk; it can also heal it back up with Wish, with it greatly appreciates. In return, Galarian Stunfisk checks Pokemon Electric-types like Heliolisk and Vikavolt for Vaporeon. Pokemon like Weezing and Garbodor can take on Fighting-types such as Toxicroak and Virizion that it struggles against. Lastly, wallbreakers and setup sweepers like Choice Band Passimian and Cosmic Power Xatu appreciate Galarian Stunfisk providing them with more opportunities to come in via Yawn.
