Bisharp: CoolMan6001, Gravity Monkey, Yung Dramps

Yo, here are the winners for this slate!

Talonflame: SteelixPrismGX

Pokemon: Talonflame
Take: 1
Type: Fire / Flying
Ability: Unburden / Energizer (Moxie clone which raises speed by one stage instead of attack)
Stats: 85 / 135 / 120 / 60 / 100 / 70 (570 BST)
New Moves: Drill Run, Close Combat
Competitive Niche: An incredibly powerful wallbreaker which packs two fantastic abilities which shore up its poor speed tier, not to mention good bulk on both sides as well. Its sheer attacking power allows it to break common defensive cores, while its good bulk allows it to survive quite a bit of hits from common offensive staples and offensive cores in general. However, its defensive typing is quite poor, cursing it with a quad weakness to Stealth Rock and leaving it easily revenge killed despite its good bulk by common OU trends such as Ash-Greninja, Mega Swampert under rain, Scarfed Landorus-T, and Rockium Z variants of Garchomp, while its attacking power is a bit disappointing without boosts, leaving it helpless against common defensive staples such as Toxapex and Zapdos.
Bisharp: CoolMan6001

Pokemon: Bisharp
Take: 3
Type: Ghost / Rock
Ability:
Steelworker / Guts / Dark Aura
Stats: 65 / 125 / 100 / 70 / 60 / 100
New Moves: Shadow Sneak, Accelerock, Bullet Punch
Competitive Niche: A mon who offers dual-STAB proirity and possibly a third with either Steelworker or Dark Aura. Also offers stronger STABS in Shadow Claw and Stone Edge. It's a bit slower than it wants to be and lacking in bulk, and while more priority is great, it still has a reliance on it against faster teams.
Slowbro: Yung Dramps (NOTE: I have taken 5 from HP and put it into speed to match evenly with Mega Bro)

Pokemon: Slowbro
Take: 3
Type:
/

Ability: Storm Drain, Regenerator
Stats: 95 / 60 / 100 / 110 / 90 / 35 (490)
New Moves: Heal Bell, Roar, Will-O-Wisp
Competitive Niche: Slowbro can better take advantage of its Fire coverage with its unique set of resistances and STAB. Tri Attack on a defensive Pokemon's also very cool.

Personally, I think that Talonflame can go ahead and run more items depending on its needs; Unburden variants can afford to run Misty Seed or Psychic Seed if paired with Tapu Fini and Tapu Lele, respectively, although Talonflame would prefer having Figy Berry instead as its main Fire-type STAB, Flare Blitz, wears it down very easily given that it's not running Roost. Salac Berry lets Talonflame outspeed the entire OU metagame at +1 speed + Unburden, but suffers the same issues as Psychic and Misty Seeds: Talonflame generally prefers reliable recovery to remove Flare Blitz recoil, but this is even more detrimental as Talonflame will be left at 25% HP, making it over-reliant on Acrobatics to do damage, leaving it walled by Steel-Types unless it switches out, removing the Unburden and Salac Berry speed boosts, or it decides to kill itself with Flare Blitz, which, if used too early, can be detrimental to its entire team, especially is this is used as the main Steel-Type check.

If you guys want to check out the full list of other options, here's the Pokepaste for it:

I still think that Bisharp will be incredibly underwhelming. While it has a much-improved speed tier, literally none of its issues that its base form had are even fixed. In fact, some of them are even worse: its typing is trash defensively, it's not very bulky, and it's even more overreliant on priority against faster teams because of this.

Not much to say about Slowbro except that it'll probably be a solid mon.

Ok, sorry for the long wait, but here is our next slate:
Submission Slate #3: Ugliest 'Mons Ever!
*shudders* Why must Game Freak torture us with such repulsive freaks?! Just hearing their names makes me wanna puke. And worst of all, they're not even good competitively, to make up for their grotesqueness! Hopefully you guys can help them succeed in an OU environment, because they're sure as hell ain't getting prettier!

To clarify, when you say the sum of its offensive stats, I assume imyou are talking just Atk and SpA.

To clarify, when you say the sum of its offensive stats, I assume imyou are talking just Atk and SpA.
Yes.
also, does recovery moves mean only things like Recover, or does it include stuff like Leech Seed and Aqua Ring?
I guess I should have been more clear. No reliable recovery moves allowed, so Recover/Soft-Boiled/etc is illegal, but Leech and Ring are fine due to being a horrible method of recovery

Yung Dramps

awesome gaming

Pokemon:
Bruxish
Take: 2
Type:
/

Ability: Strong Jaw, Intimidate
Stats: 111 / 112 / 107 / 112 / 82 / 46 (570)
New Moves: Leech Life, Nasty Plot, Psyshock
Competitive Niche: Bulky attacking on both ends to great effect.

Pokemon:
Garbodor
Take: 3
Type:

Ability:
Sheer Force, Wilting Stench
Wilting Stench: Traps Grass types (Magnet Pull clone)
Stats: 83 / 72 / 96 / 98 / 96 / 125 (570)
New Moves: Calm Mind, Flamethrower, Knock Off, Parting Shot
Competitive Niche: A speedy, decently strong supporter which can run pivoting or CM sets, as well as dispose of troublesome grasses, including Mega Venusaur thanks to Psychic.

Pokemon:
Jynx
Take: 1
Type:
/

Ability: Limber, Iron Fist
Stats: 90 / 105 / 90 / 45 / 90 / 140 (560)
New Moves: Mach Punch, Thunder Punch
Competitive Niche: Jynx may not be as powerful as certain other Fighting types, but that's not it's role. Unlike let's say Mega Medicham, Jynx is a potent offense killer with its killer speed and offensive typing.

Pokemon: Bruxish
Take: 1
Type:
Water / Dark
Ability:
Strong Jaw / Defiant / Vicious Forces (Steelworker clone which multiplies the power of Dark-type moves by 1.5)
Stats:
75 / 125 / 100 / 25 / 75 / 140 (540 BST)
New Moves:
Knock Off, U-turn
Competitive Niche:
Bruxish finds itself a home in OU as a fast and powerful offensive threat which can easily break stall teams with its STAB Vicious Forces - Boosted Crunch (or Knock Off), on top of good enough bulk to work well versus most offensive teams. It packs a very high physical attack stat, which, on top of Swords Dance / Choice Band and Vicious Forces, lets it hit stall staples such as Toxapex extremely hard, while Swords Dance lets it function as a late-game cleaner on Hyper Offense teams. While this does seem top-tier, Bruxish's damage output is a bit lacking without boosts, meaning that it can't hit stuff such as AV Magearna without risking getting KOed in return, not to mention that its special defense is terrible, leaving it easily revenge killed by stuff such as Volcarona and Serperior.
Sample Sets:

Click Me!

Pokemon: Garbodor
Take: 2
Type:
Poison
Ability:
Aftermath / Corrosion / Processed Pollutants (Flash Fire clone which multiplies the power of Poison-type moves by 1.5x when it is hit by a super effective move.)
Stats:
80 / 110 / 140 / 110 / 80 / 50 (570 BST)
New Moves:
Leech Life (wow, looks like I ran out of ideas for unreliable recovery to give to Garbodor - he has a metric ton of those already), Knock Off, Haze
Competitive Niche:
A very physically bulky, albeit slow, support mon which takes advantage of its decently sized support movepool to stack hazards for its team and do stuff which a support pokemon usually does. Garbodor's high physical bulk lets it easily stomach hits from powerful mons such as Kartana and Mega Mawile, while its passable offenses give it an easier time KOing stuff for offensive variants. Despite those offenses, Garbodor will probably be seen only on Stall or Balance archetypes given its low speed for an offensive mon. However, Garbodor's special defense is less-than-appealing, letting in stuff such as Mega Alakazam and Heatran in for free, while its low speed makes it very susceptible to Taunt, not to mention that its defensive typing isn't great, being weak to commonplace pokemon in Landorus-T, Garchomp, and Mega Alakazam, with the former two being able to overpower it despite its good physical bulk with their STAB moves.

Pokemon:
Jynx
Take: 1
Type:
Ice / Psychic
Ability:
Trace / Filter / Queenly Majesty
Stats:
60 / 30 / 65 / 120 / 105 / 140 (515 BST)
New Moves:
Revelation Dance, Thunderbolt
Competitive Niche:
An incredibly powerful and fast special attacker which freeze-dries offense like nobody's business. Jynx takes advantage of its fantastic offensive typing, high speed tier, great special attack, and passable special bulk to set up Nasty Plot and then proceed to absolutely destroy the opposing team like nobody's business, while Choice Specs variants can easily nab OHKOs or 2HKOs on most common OU trends such as Specially Defensive Toxapex, Tornadus-Therian, and Landorus-T. However, Jynx lacks defensive utility thanks to its poor defensive typing and lack of Dry Skin, making it vulnerable to most forms of priority and all forms of entry hazards. It also still carries poor physical bulk, limiting its setup opportunities and worsening its already poor matchup versus most offense teams.

Keep up with the submissions!

Pokemon: Bruxish
Take: 1
Type:
/

Abilities: Strong Jaw / Competitive / Poison Heal
Stats: 70 / 25 / 84 / 125 / 96 / 140 (540 BST)
New Moves: Bug Buzz, Infestation
Competitive Niche: Move over Gliscor, there's a new PHealer in OU, and it can KO you with ease. Bruxish is able to use its decent defensive typing to come in on threats like Celesteela, Excadrill, Landorus-T lacking Flying STAB, and the aforementioned Gliscor. Thanks to Poison Heal, Bruxish now has a consistent source of recovery that also grants it a crucial immunity to status. It also has a decent special movepool that includes everything it needs in order to hit everything in OU neutrally, including Toxapex thanks to Psychic. Lastly, its incredible speed lets it outrun many offensive threats, and even slow Scarfers like Magnezone. Despite what it may seem, Bruxish's bulk is only average by OU standards, and its typing leaves it weak to pokes like Tyranitar, Magnezone, Hawlucha, and Tapu Koko. Special walls like Chansey also walls this to no avail.

Pokemon: Garbodor
Take: 2
Type:
/

Abilities: Aftermath / Corrosion / Bulletproof
Stats: 95 / 100 / 120 / 65 / 85 / 50 (515 BST)
New Moves: Boulder Drain (Rock-type clone of Drain Punch), Stealth Rock, Stone Edge
Competitive Niche: Garbodor has a suprising niche of being a Poison-type that actually checks Tapu Lele. This is due to Bulletproof blocking its Focus Blast and its Poison STAB. Aside from that, it also has a decent defensive typing that lets it switch in on Volcarona, Clefable, Heatran not running Earth Power or Steelium Z, and Tornadus-T. Corrosion is also a unique option, as it lets Garbodor poison foes such as Heatran, Toxapex, Ferrothorn and Amoonguss. However, its typing means any Ground move that comes its way will 2HKO it at worst. It also leaves it weak to Mega Scizor's Bullet Punch, Greninja, Mega Alakazam, and Celesteela. Lastly, its 100 base attack is mediocre at best, meaning many physical walls can pivot into this freely.

Pokemon: Jynx
Take: 3
Type:
/

Abilities: Anticipation / Dancer / Magic Guard
Stats: 75 / 54 / 91 / 115 / 88 / 97 (520 BST)
New Moves: Earth Power, Dazzling Gleam, Quiver Dance, Fiery Dance
Competitive Niche: Jynx stands out as a Psychic-type due to Magic Guard, which lets it take no damage from Stealth Rock or Life Orb. It also has some new coverage, including more reliable ways to hit Steels in Earth Power and Fiery Dance, a new tool against Darks in Dazzling Gleam, and a new setup move in Quiver Dance. Unfortunately, while this can break stall pretty-handedly, it completely flops in offense due to its vulnerably to priority moves and lacking defensive utility. Its bulk is also mediocre, meaning it will hardly find a chance to set up.

I don't play OU but sure why not

Pokemon: Bruxish
Take: 3
Type: Water / Psychic
Ability: Swift Swim
Stats: 70 / 50 / 59 / 124 / 90 / 82 (BST: 475)
New Moves: Dark Pulse, Hydro Pump, Moonblast
Competitive Niche: A rain abuser that defeats Swampert-Mega counters like Kartana and Venusaur-Mega, checks Slowbro-Mega, and can outspeed and OHKO fast Scarfers like Kartana and Greninja in rain, and can either run sets tailored to defeat specific threats to rain or set up with Calm Mind and attempt a sweep.
Sample Sets:
Bruxish @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Moonblast / Hidden Power [Electric]
Bruxish @ Waterium Z
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Dark Pulse / Ice Beam / Moonblast
- Calm Mind

Pokemon: Garbodor
Take: 2
Type: Poison / Psychic
Ability: Intimidate
Stats: 149 / 85 / 76 / 145 / 75 / 36 (BST: 566)
New Moves: Future Sight, Circle Throw, Wish
Competitive Niche: As a delayed move abuser, Garbodor distinguishes itself from both RU's Slowking (RegenVest) and CAP's Equilibra (AV spinner) by serving as a Wish-passer or Infestation trapper. Circle Throw hits the Dark- and Steel-types that Future Sight brings in with super-effective damage before phazing them out, and serves as a stop to a Magearna sweep. Garbodor is also capable of OHKOing offensive Landorus-Therian with Hidden Power Ice.
Sample Sets:
Garbodor @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Calm Nature
- Future Sight
- Circle Throw
- Spikes
- Sludge Wave / Focus Blast / Dark Pulse
Garbodor @ Psychium Z
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Future Sight
- Acid Spray / Focus Blast
- Infestation
- Wish
Garbodor @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 112 SpA
Bold Nature
- Future Sight
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Wish
- Protect

(low HP stat + Giga Drain could also be interesting, but eh. also I can't tell if this is broken or not - Equi is borderline broken in CAP, but it has better typing (Steel/Ground) and a harder-hitting delayed move (Doom Desire) and really wants AV, which this Garbodor wouldn't want to run. Wish + Protect would be hard to break in theory, but in practice would bait in setup like SD Lando)

Pokemon: Jynx
Take: 3
Type: Ice/Psychic
Ability: No Guard / Technician / Flare Boost
Stats: 46 / 95 / 74 / 95 / 74 / 136 (BST: 520)
New Moves: Swords Dance, Ice Shard, Earth Power, Earthquake
Competitive Niche: Jynx's wide movepool with the option of running almost unresisted Ice/Ground coverage, mixed offenses, and range of abilities allows it to serve as a threatening and unpredictable sweeper, and one that can run Lovely Kiss for aid in setting up; however, with its low defenses (including the lowest HP in OU, although this is an asset for Technician Draining Kiss) it struggles to switch in and is easily revenge killed.
Sample Sets: (these could be optimized)
Jynx @ Focus Sash / Mago Berry
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Blizzard
- Psyshock / Focus Blast
- Nasty Plot
- Lovely Kiss
Jynx @ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Zen Headbutt
- Dynamic Punch
- Substitute
- Lovely Kiss
Jynx @ Psychium Z / Leftovers
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Frost Breath
- Psyshock / Substitute
- Hidden Power Electric / Hidden Power Ground / Draining Kiss
- Nasty Plot
Jynx @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Ice Shard
- Heart Stamp
- Double Kick / Bulldoze / Earthquake
- Swords Dance
Jynx @ Flame Orb
Ability: Flare Boost
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Lovely Kiss
- Nasty Plot

Pokemon: Bruxish
Take: 3
Type: Water / Psychic
Ability: Dazzling / Wonder Skin | Huge Power (HA)
Stats: 70 / 50 / 80 / 70 / 90 / 75 (BST: 445)
New Moves: Thunder Fang, Fire Fang, Play Rough, Superpower
Competitive Niche: A wall breaker with a decent dual STAB, priority, and a nice array of coverage moves. It's slow, not that bulky, and has a poor defensive typing, however. Having the same Atk. as Azumarill, it's comparable as a faster, less bulky alternative.

Pokemon: Jynx
Take: 1
Type: Ice / Steel
Ability: Quick Feet / Clear Body | Limber (HA)
Stats: 70 / 50 / 60 / 100 / 115 / 140 (BST: 535)
New Moves: Thunderbolt, Flash Cannon
Competitive Niche: A unique offensive Ice type with a SR neutrality and some actual resistances to work with. Nasty Plot and Choice Specs could both be big threats. The abilities don't do a lot for Jynx but generally follow a theme of not being being able to slow her down.

Pokemon: Garbodor
Take: 2
Type: Poison / Steel
Ability: Mega Launcher
Stats: 90 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 120 / 35 (BST: 515)
New Moves: Shore Up, *Lithium Pulse, Flamethrower
*Litium Pulse - Steel-type Aura Sphere clone ( boosted by Mega Launcher )
Competitive Niche: A tank with a unique defensive type and a unique powerful special Steel-type attack. Mega Launcher Dark Pulse provides great neutral coverage alongside that, and it can run recovery and support moves like entry hazards and Clear Smog to round out its sets.

Bruxish: Yung Dramps, SteelixPrismGX, Demon Dragon
Garbodor: Yung Dramps, Scoopapa, CoolMan6001
Jynx: Scoopapa, SteelixPrismGX, Demon Dragon

Also, if you're open to slate suggestions, I might as well pop in one:
Best Of The Worst (pokemon which have had huge flaws preventing them from functioning well in OU but aren't as present in the lowest tier they're allowed in, making them real good there.): Skuntank, Heliolisk, Weezing
