Explosion

Okay, so I'm hoping someone can clarify this for me. I thought if someone uses explosion on you, when each of you only has one pokemon left, then they automatically lose even if the attack KOed both pokemon. I assumed destiny bond was the same.

When playing, I indeed won the battle one time when I used my last pokemon and KOed the other guy's last pokemon who had just used destiny bond. But when I was watching a battle today, I notice someone used Explosion in the same situation, and the explosion user won. Is this a standard rule in all battles or can it be disabled, etc. through the challenge window?

Self KO Clause isn't programmed correctly. Most tourneys add in that rule that you lose if you use destiny Bond/Explosion/Self Destruct when you each have 1 pokemon left.

The actual bug here is that Shoddy Battle 1 does not have draws.

Draws are already correctly implemented in Shoddy Battle 2, but this will likely never be fixed in Shoddy Battle 1.

Even though Self-KO clause is a bad rule, it will be in Shoddy Battle 2 as well.
