Pet Mod Eternal Pokemon V2 [Slate 4: Yet-To-Be Beasts]

Voting is closed, the winner is Gravity Monkey!

Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Thwackey
New Type:

New stat distribution: 110 / 112 / 97 / 55 / 75 / 80 [BST: 529]
Signature Move: Blood Drain |
|
| Strength Sap for Defense | Z-effect: +1 Atk |
Competitive Analysis: Some bulky pivot with high physical defense. Has U-turn, Koff and a new recovery move that synergizes very well with Grassy Glide & Pivoting to then either force switches or force mindgames. Great Lando switch-in, also deals with Koko very well.

alllllllright guys, it's time for the second slate! in this slate, we will be featuring good Pokémon in LC, and these three lucky ones will be featured on the state:

Slate 2: Little Titans
:bw/mienfoo: :bw/pawniard: :bw/foongus:

This slate can probably add some very interesting Pokémon to the metagame, to maybe compete with the other Pokémon: the starters and Floette, but only time (and your votes) will tell.

Start subbing. Now.

:pawniard:
Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Pawniard - Eternal
New Type: Steel/Fire
New Stat distribution:
HP 50 (+5) / Atk 116 (+31) / Def 74 (+4) / SpA 59 (+19) / SpD 48 (+8) / Spe 140 (+88) / BST 489
Signature Move: Flaring Claws (Fire; Status; - BP; 10 / 16 PP; 100% Acc; 70% chance to lower target's accuracy by 1. User's Dark-type moves become Fire-type. Z-Move: Base effects + +1 Atk.)
Design/Flavor: It's now a bit taller and slightly more nimble looking, the blade on its head now replaced with a brightly burning flame, and with its hands now having three claws, each of which it can set ablaze when attacking, however it consciously needs to set its claws ablaze - the flames it produces are so bright when initially setting its claws on fire it can cause those looking at it to be temporarily blinded.
Competitive Analysis: Overall just here to be a really annoying and fast mon, however it can certainly be walled by defensives mon due to it's not too high of an attack stat and its signature move lacking in power making it incapable of it really being able to threaten anything, as such its should for the most part be easy to revenge kill, and realistically it can very much be threatened by faster opponents such as Zeraora, Barraskewda and more. This mon though can definitely help out its teammates by having a high chance to drop its foe's accuracy, which can also give it a chance to actually avoid being OHKO'ed on its first turn out against say some Ground-type with Earthquake.

:foongus:
Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Foongus - Eternal
New Type: Grass/Fairy
New Stat distribution:
HP 72 (+3) / Atk 59 (+4) / Def 86 (+41) / SpA 62 (+7) / SpD 86 (+31) / Spe 98 (+83) / BST 463
Signature Move: Magic Trick (Fairy; Special; 85 BP; 15 / 24 PP; 100% Acc; Uses target's SpA stat in calculating for damage. 10% chance to lower target's SpD stat by 1. Z-Move: 160 BP)
Design/Flavor: It has a now smaller and slightly more pointed cap, the pattern now resembles that of a dream ball, and its stalk has thinned a bit. Additionally its arms are now longer and stronger, but they aren't really strong enough to actually attack with, as such it primarily uses them to launch itself forward. It mainly defends itself using its newfound powers, though it can often be seen to still heavily utilize its spores to status its predators.
Competitive Analysis: In my mind this thing is to be a fast status-spreader, while also being capable of dealing some damage here and there. As for the role I mentioned of it being a fast status-spreader it will certainly be able to take advantage of its good speed and access to moves like Spore, Stun Spore, and Toxic, while also being able to possibly turn of setup sweepers with Clear Smog. Also as mentioned before it can do proper damage by making use of Foul Play and its Signature, Magic Trick. Lastly it can potentially make use of Worry Seed to just disrupt the opposing pokemon.

:mienfoo:
Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Mienfoo - Eternal
New Type: Fighting/Ghost
New Stat distribution:
HP 73 (+28) / Atk 108 (+23) / Def 98 (+48) / SpA 55 (+0) / SpD 86 (+36) / Spe 89 (+24) / BST 509
Signature Move: Soul Scoop (Ghost; Status; - BP; 5 / 8 PP; 100% Acc; Target looses 1/8 of their max HP and the user heals HP equal to that amount. Z-Move: Base effects + +1 SpD.)
Design/Flavor: Slightly more lanky and now more ghastly in appearance, with its colors being more darker and dull, furthermore it seems to now take a more defensive approach to fighting, though it still can very much pack a punch.
Competitive Analysis: A more defensive take on Mienfoo/Mienshao, with its own unique way of healing in addition to decent bulk and a funky defensive typing.

Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Foongus-Eternal
Type: Fairy/Poison
New Stat distribution: 110 (+41) / 55 / 105 (+60) / 85 (+30) / 93 (+38) / 15
Signature Move: Glitter Dust - Fairy, Special, 75 BP, 32 PP, `100% Acc; 30% chance to confuse the target; Powder)
Design/Flavor: A sickeningly cute pale pink mushroom with dewy eyes and plump lips that give the appearance of lipstick. Its cap resembles a Love Ball. Unlike its more traditional modern kin, Foongus-E wants to be noticed, scattering shiny spores that look like glitter wherever it goes. Unbeknownst to it, these glittering spores are highly toxic.
Competitive Analysis: A hardy tank with a moveset of annoying support options tailored to shut down Fighting-type attackers.

Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Mienfoo-Eternal
Type: Fighting/Fire
New Stat distribution: 92 (+47) / 128 (+43) / 72 (+22) / 55 / 72 (+22) / 90 (+25)
Signature Move: Fiery Focus - Fire, Status, 32 PP, -- Acc; Raises user's attack by +1. User's next move gets +1 priority.; Z-Move: additional +1 Attack
Design/Flavor: A brown and slightly scruffier Mienfoo with sleeves wrapped in fire. This legendary Mienfoo is said to have trained for decades in the heart of a volcano, learning the secrets of true strength and eternal longevity.
Competitive Analysis: A threatening offensive pivot who hits like a truck. Fire-typing prevents it from being burned, at the expense of worsening its defensive spread. Fiery Focus adds some zest to its prediction game.

Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Pawniard-Eternal
Type: Dark/Steel
New Stat distribution: 85 (+40) / 115 (+30) / 90 (+20) / 40 / 75 (+35) / 84 (+24)
Signature Move: Duelist Stance - Steel, Status, 16 PP, 100% Acc; Lowers target's Attack and Defense by -1. Restores 50% of the user's max HP.; Z-Move: resets user's lowered stats
Design/Flavor): Leaner and slightly taller, has a rose tint to its red areas. Its blades are longer and thinner. A fierce duelist who was the head guard of a king in centuries past. Spends its long, long life roaming the land, looking for noble opponents to duel.
Competitive Analysis: Attempt at making an Eternalmon that keeps its base typing lol. A bruiser who contributes helpful offensive presence with its STABs, including a strong Knock Off. Its signature move lets it sustain while making some offensive progress, akin to its use of Berry Juice in LC.

:bw/mienfoo:
Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Mienfoo-Eternal
New Type: Fighting / Fairy
New Stat distribution: 75/115/100/55/59/105 (509 BST)
Signature Move: Cautionary Strike - Fairy, Physical, 60 BP, 10 PP, 100 Acc, Contact. From the start of the turn, user takes 50% less damage. User switches out upon dealing damage. If the user switches out before being hit, the damage reduction doesn't apply to its replacement
Design/Flavour: Mienfoo with the funny whip sleeves from Mienshao + its colour scheme, with an additional scarf? Idk I'm not very creative
Competitive Analysis: Hey fun fact; every Pokemon in NatDex's S/S- rank is either Fighting weak (Heatran, Weavile, Mega Lop) or can't hit Fighting-types super effectively (Lando-T). Or both. Additionally, Fairy/Fighting STAB is very epic, hitting every S-A rank mon neutrally bar Toxapex, Victini and Volcarona. To top it all off we have a truly incredible signature, Cautionary Strike, giving Mienfoo-E a huge amount of longevity when combined with Regenerator. Of course Mienfoo-E isn't without flaws: it's outsped by plenty of top tier threads such as Kartana and Greninja-A; its pathetic 60 SpDef leaves it easily KOed by most special attackers, and Fairy/Fighting is plighted by some unfortunate weaknesses, namely to Flying and Fairy. It's still a very funny mon tho

:bw/pawniard:
Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Pawniard-Eternal
New Type: Ice / Steel
New Stat distribution: 75/115/90/40/70/99 (489 BST)
Signature Move: Brittle Fracture - Ice, Physical, 60 BP, 100 Acc. Super effective against Steel-types
Design/Flavour: Pawniard with a frost-covered helmet + body ig
Competitive Analysis: Ok so basically, you know the Steel-type? Yeah, it's pretty strong right? Well what if I told you this mon could fucking murder literally all of them. No I am not joking. And also all defoggers ever. The combination of Brittle Fracture, Knock Off, and Defiant is enough to deter a huge chunk of NatDex's defoggers, and with its excellent Attack, serviceable Speed, and access to Swords Dance, outside of murdering funny Steel birds it can also function as an excellent wallbreaker. The main problem with this icy bastard is the 4x weakness to some of the best attacking types in the tier - Fighting and Fire - and its mediocre bulk meaning it either has to predict a Defog or rely on a pivot to get onto the field. Mon also hard loses to anything faster with said coverage. Once it's on the field though? Then you're fucking boned lol

:bw/foongus:
Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Foongus-Eternal
New Type: Grass / Fairy
New Stat distribution: 139/85/65/95/55/36 (463 BST)
Signature Move: Strange Spores - Fairy, Special, 65 BP, 100 Acc, Powder. Deals double damage if the target has a status ailment
Design/Flavour: Epic fairy ring mushroom
Competitive Analysis: An epic anti-setup mon and defensive pivot, featuring excellent bulk and a good movepool with Spore, Synthesis, and Clear Smog to disrupt opposing setup sweepers. Grass/Fairy works wonders against mons like Landorus-T and Garchomp, allowing it to soak up their moves and either Spore them or clear their boosts. Strange Spores is just Fairy Hex. That's it. Foongus-E absolutely hates being hit with status though, especially Toxic, and choice band/specs mons and attackers with super effective coverage can easily muscle past it

New Stat distribution: 105/85/110/40/89/60
Signature Move: Property Trade: Fire, Physical, 65 BP, 100% Acc. Hits two turns after being used, and switches the user out.
Design/Flavor: Instead of chess, it's Monopoly. Lol!
Competitive Analysis: WIP

:ss/mienfoo:
Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Mienfoo
New Typing: Fighting / Psychic
New stat distribution: 74 / 105 / 70 / 75 / 70 / 115
Signature Move: idk |
|
| 90 BP | 100% Accuracy | 10 PP | Priority: 0 | One Adjacent Target | Damages target based on Sp. Def, not Defense.
Competitive Analysis: fighting/psychic is pretty good against the current defensive cores. physical psyshock should help somewhat against fatmons like tangrowth and physical pex.

:ss/pawniard:
Name of the Eternal Pokémon: Pawniard
New stat distribution: 85 / 95 / 70 / 40 / 90 / 109
Signature Move: En Passant |
|
| 70 BP | 100% Accuracy | 20 PP | Priority: 0 | One Adjacent Target | Taunts the target. Switches the user out.
Competitive Analysis: not v strong but stallbreaks p hard against things like pex or other fatmons by pivoting hard against them

:pawniard:
Type: Dark / Ghost
Stats: 46 / 105 / 70 / 60 / 115 / 93
Signature: Terror Slash |
|
| 70 BP | 100 Acc | 15 PP | Replaces the target's ability with Intimidate after dealing damage.
Niche: Stats are straight ass but the move does a whole lot, boosting your own attack while overwriting abilities like Regenerator. Could even make a cool rocker if Magic Bounce ever becomes popular.

:mienfoo:
Type: Fighting / Grass
Stats: 111 / 60 / 55 / 129 / 55 / 99
Signature: Arborification |
|
| 120 BP | 90 Acc | 5 PP | Inflicts the Ingrain status on the target for 2-3 turns. User takes 50% of the damage dealt as recoil.
Niche: A special Grass-type wallbreaker that has some solid regen survivability and a way to snipe defensive answers with funny ingrain trapping.

:foongus:
Type: Grass / Fire
Stats: 149 / 55 / 65 / 103 / 75 / 16
Signature: Fungalferno |
|
| 100 BP | 100 Acc | 5 PP | Both the target and the user switch out to a random teammate after using this move. | -6 priority
Niche: Fire-type regen is a unique niche, being able to check stuff like Volcarona, especially when the Fire-type in question has a strong STAB attack that resets momentum in the most straightforward way possible.

:ponyta:
Typing:

New Stats: 60 HP / 129 Atk / 70 Def / 75 SpA / 75 SpD / 90 Spe / 499 BST
Signature Move: Zapping Saddles |
|
| 90 BP | 100 Acc | 15 PP | +0 Priority | Contact, Mirror, Protect | Raises the user's Attack by 1 stage if this move knocks out the target.
Competitive Analysis: Nuclear Atk with solid coverage in Fire/Electric/Ground, threatening mons such as Ferro and Pex. Can snowball through whole teams by using Flame Charge to boost its Speed and Zapping Saddles to boost its Atk on a KO.

:blitzle:
Typing:

New Stats: 126 HP / 60 Atk / 92 Def / 70 SpA / 72 SpD / 76 Spe / 496 BST
Signature Move: Kirin Cloud |
|
| 10 PP | +0 Priority | Heal, Snatch | The user restores 1/2 of its maximum HP, rounded half down. If the user uses an Electric-type attack on the next turn, its power will be doubled. | Z-Move Effect: Resets all lowered stat modifications.
Competitive Analysis: Electric/Dragon with Sap Sipper offers a really cool defensive profile. With Kirin Cloud for reliable recovery, Blitzle is able to check offensive threats such as Kart and Zera as well as choice-locked mons like Gapdos or Ursh. Kirin Cloud’s other effect of boosting Electric attacks helps reduce its passivity.

:mudbray:
Typing:

New Stats: 100 HP / 108 Atk / 80 Def / 45 SpA / 55 SpD / 111 Spe / 499 BST
Signature Move: Muddy Meander |
|
| 60 BP | 100 Acc | 10 PP | +0 Priority | Mirror, Protect | If this move is successful and the user has not fainted, the user switches out even if it is trapped and is replaced immediately by a selected party member. If the user was hit by the target this turn, the replacing party member’s Defense is raised by 1 stage.
Competitive Analysis: Apparently Scarf Mudbray is a thing in LC and I thought that was extremely funny, so here's this. 111 Speed lets Mudbray get the jump on fast mons such as Kart and Blaceph and threaten them with its Ground/Rock/Fighting coverage. Stamina can help prevent getting revenge-killed, though it is admittedly difficult to use without investment. Muddy Meander is a wacky momentum gainer that can aid frailer teammates.
