[OVERVIEW]
Exeggcute is one of the best sun abusers in LC, thanks to its impressive bulk and respectable Special Attack. With the ability Chlorophyll and a strong movepool including moves such as Sunny Day, Solar Beam, and Explosion, it is hard to switch into Exeggcute, which often results in it snowballing early game or being a great late-game sweeper. One of the downside of using Exeggcute is that lack power to OHKO most pokemon in the tier and in addition that it need 1 turn to setup Sunny Day results that it usually is only getting a explosion of.

[SET COMMENTS]
At first glance, the EV spread for Exeggcute may seem unusual, but every stat point serves a purpose. The investment in HP and Defense allows it to survive a Rock Slide followed by an HP Ghost from Diglett, with a 30% chance to live a Sludge Bomb from Gastly, as well as an HP Ghost from a +1 attack Bagon or Larvitar. The Special Defense EVs ensure it can survive an Ice Beam from Porygon. The Attack EVs are used to get a KO against a mixed-defense Porygon while also providing a favorable roll against Physical Defense Porygon. The Speed EVs allow it to outspeed every non-speed-boosted Pokémon while sun being active thanks to its ability Chlorophyll wich makes it outspeed the entire adv lc metagame unboosted. Lastly, the Mild nature with max Special Attack is used to get a 2HKO against a physically defensive Porygon with Psychic followed by Solar Beam.

Exeggcute is one of the most dominant leads in LC due to its good matchups against common Water, Electric, and Ground-type leads. The downside is that it struggles against the common Doduo lead, so it's reccomended to pair it with Pokémon that can switch in against Doduo, such as Koffing, physically defensive Porygon, and Duskull. For the lead set, a Lum Berry is preferred to make sure you don't lose against Electric-type Pokémon that use Thunder Wave.

Exeggcute can also run hp fire on the sunny day sweeper set to OHKO offensive cacnea or use thief to get his item back . other option is using it as a screen setter with explosion or physical defense wall with wish to stop dragon dance users like bagon and larvitar both sets are not viable due to the fast paced nature of the metagame

(i would mention that it works well as a lead here, and highlight any good lead matchups it has) One of the downside of using Exeggcute is that lack power to OHKO most pokemon in the tier and in addition that it need 1 turn to setup Sunny Day results that it usually is only getting a explosion of. (would rephrase to something like Exeggcute is not without its downsides: it lacks the power to OHKO most Pokemon in the tier and it needs a turn to get Sunny Day up. Sometimes these conditions will leave Exeggcute with no choice but to use Explosion without accomplishing much else. you can go with something else if you want, but what you originally wrote wasn't very clear)

(i would put a short few sentences here explaining sunny day is used to allow egg to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame, and that explosion is nice to use as a last ditch effort or to take out foes that solar beam and psychic wouldnt do much damage to.)

(add period) or use tThief to get his item back is another option, allowing Exeggcute to deny opposing Pokemon the ability to use their item and even take avatange of the item itself. other option is using it as a screen setter with explosion or physical defense wall with wish to stop dragon dance users like bagon and larvitar both sets are not viable due to the fast paced nature of the metagame Options like Light Screen, Reflect, and Wish may initally look appealing but are not worth the moveslots. Screens are difficult to pull off in LC and there are better options for screen setters than Exeggcute, and Wish is unusable due to the extremely fast paced nature of the metagame. (i tried to get across what you wanted to convey with these rewrites, if you don't like them you're welcome to rewrite again, but what you had wasn't up to analysis standards)
