Druddigon [F] [Leah]
Nature: Quiet
Type: Dragon

[Abilities]
Rough Skin (Passive): When struck with a contact attack, this Pokemon's abrasive skin causes pain to the opponent, dealing 25% of the damage received to the opponent.
Sheer Force (Toggle): At default this Pokemon can energize all its attacks with a secondary effect (These are damaging moves that either lower the target's stats, raise the user's stats, or inflict a status condition on the target). The Base Attack Power of every move with a secondary effect increases by two (2), but they will never have their usual secondary effect. When toggled, no effect.
Mold Breaker (Passive): Whenever this Pokemon attacks, it emits an invisible, blindingly quick pulse preceding the attack that disables the opponents natural abilities. (e.g. Levitators plummet towards the ground before Earthquake hits, etc.) Attacks are still redirected by Lightningrod/Storm Drain, but damage is dealt normally. Status-immunity abilities such as Limber will remove their relevant status at the start of the victim's next action. For a full list of affected abilities, see http://pastebin.com/sMZktgbV.

Rock Head (Passive): This Pokemon's hard body prevents it from taking recoil damage from moves such as Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, and Head Smash. This does not prevent recoil damage from Struggle.

At long last, the highly-anticipated Gym match is here! Jayy takes the Leader's spot, being probably the best BBP player and wielding one of the most terrifying types in the game: Dragon! Physical, Special, offensive, defensive, you name it, chances are Jayy has a Pokémon that can do it. Slight preference towards physical offense though, maybe it's noteworthy?
On the opposite side of the field, world-famous roleplayer nightblitz! With his trademark Zoroark suit on and a glint in his eyes, he looks ready to take on the Gym. Bringing a team composed only of Steel-types, he plans on capitalizing on the type chart... but will that be enough? He brought plenty of tricks as well, but his firepower might be a bit lacking.
Anyway, no point trying to see the outcome right now. Let the Pokémon do the talking! Here! We! Go!

NOTE: That arena isn't accurate. There are no mega evolutions allowed in this fight.

Goodra @ Expert Belt

Goodra: Stomping Tantrum | Thunderbolt | Stomping Tantrum
(*) IF Empoleon is to use Bide, THEN initiate action sequence [Focus Punch | Substitute 15 | Focus Punch]. Perform this only once.
(*) IF Empoleon is under the effects of a Damaging Evasive Move, THEN Acid Armor the first instance, Counter all other instances, pushing back actions each instance.
(*) IF Empoleon is to use Stealth Rock, THEN Focus Punch and push back actions.

Also lol you embarrass me tman, joking about me being the best here :p

Well, neither of us brought Pokemon that can Mega-Evolve, so I guess it's okay.

Well, this round was what you'd expect from a chicken dance: nothing much happened, though Goodra managed to squeeze a hit in, and oh boy what a meaty hit it was, removing 1/3 of Empoleon's HP, just like that.
On the other hand, Stealth Rocks are now standing there, menacingly, on Jayy's side, which will have a considerable impact on his lineup and switch potential.
I'm not seeing any Defog user either...
I wonder if that was worth it though.

Switching to Aegislash with Light Clay.

"How humiliating! Fine, but only if you promise to kick Goodra's butt for me."

One double switch later and the match is completely changed! Cyclohm faces Aegislash in a terrible power arm wrestling contest, with Stealth Rock giving a bit of an assist to nightblitz. It's Fire versus Ice on the field, and both parties are roughly at equal HP, though I'm still wondering why nightblitz chose Light Clay as his item of choice. Could he be planning on preparing a sweep or something?
Also, King's Shield has a ridiculously low EN cost, damn.

As per the same rules of old, calling DQ on a Gym Leader does not reward a win unless the match was clearly won to begin with. Instead, you get one of the following options:

1) 3rd Gym Challenge Slot, until used
2) Queue Skip
3) Continue the battle, with a stand-in leader

Reply here with which option you select.

Well, would you look at that: Cyclohm just fell asleep in the midst of battle! You're not a Jigglypuff, and this isn't Smash Bros, you silly goose!
Though, this quirky strategy proves quite effective, as Cyclohm tanks every hit Aegislash throws its way (physical, special, same stuff) and retaliates... in its sleep. Isn't that a medical condition at this point? Shall I call Nurse Joy?
Al-right! So now, Aegislash is in the red (I bet nightblitz can hear the annoying sounds that go with it), while Cyclohm is slightly tired. One move could very well spell doom for the sword, but the good news for our challenger are: Light Screen expires next action! What will both Trainers do?

And here we have this match's first KO as Aegislash abandons all safety and just lunges in for a last hit before being roasted back to its Pokéball.
Jayy officially claimed the first soul, but Cyclohm isn't going to last much longer, so what's going to happen now?

Sending in Kitsunoh with Expert Belt.
"There are 3 of you, but I'm guessing you can only take 2 of my Ice Punches... If you would be so kind, why don't you guys decide among yourselves which two of you I should hit? I'm sure you can come to a reasonable decision."

Ice Punch ~ Ice Punch ~ Ice Punch
IF Reflect AND Kitsunoh is faster THEN Taunt.
ONCE IF Endure THEN Will-O-Wisp.
IF damaging Fire-Type Combination THEN Protect.

This should do nicely... allow the fire to cleanse you of your impurities!

IF Kitsunoh is paralyzed when you are to act on A1, THEN Fire Blast

This match is now officially sponsored by Expert Belt now that Kitsunoh is out of its Pokéball! The ghostly quadruped wastes no time and downs the mighty Cyclohm with two Ice Punches, though it gets crippled in the process and Cyclohm sends a parting gift in the form of a last Fire Blast.
For a Pokémon that prides itself with Speed, getting reduced to such below-average levels must be soul-crushing.
