Rejected Don't just remove dynamax

That would be pretty short sighted. I think it's time the community just accepts that the main games will never be competitively balanced and to start working on our own version of rule sets and "gens" completely separate from the main games, only using their assets.

Remove dynamax
Add the whole national dex
Talk about move removals on a case by case basis, and have votes on re-implementation
Remove "event limitations" on mons movesets and natures, don't make it so you need "adamant nature to run extreme speed with this entei" or dumb bs like that

Create a new "generation" where the primary tenant is that we cannot rely on the creators of the game to give us a competitive and complete experience.

Cause with dynamax and half the mons missing with random moves missing, why even use this god damn joke of a generation as a base? Just make something completely new that we can use whenever they screw up entire generations like this, we shouldn't rely on them and spend months debating banning dynmax and trying to re-balance competitive when the designers do not give a shit about it literally at all.

Tl;dr this game is becoming competitively shit if we keep trying to replicate what they have, its time to replicate what works. I doubt this will happen, just putting it out there that this is the smart thing to do when you want a competitive game but the creators are simply ignorant about what competitive means.

Pokemon Showdown simulates the pokemon games, it is not its own game. Smogon runs tiering for the pokemon games through the use bans to attempt to create balanced 6v6 primarly singles but also doubles tiers. We will not be changing our core ideologies.

As for a new "generation" of some sort, you may want to look into pet mods.
