Set Description
========
Kartana utilizes its outstanding physical bulk and powerful offensive presence to act as a good Defogger against several common entry hazard setters in the tier, including Landorus-T, Garchomp, Gliscor, Ferrothorn, and Chansey. Notably, it's the only Defogger in the tier that can reliably switch into and challenge Z-Move Garchomp. It can also switch into and Defog on Ferrothorn, as it takes negligible damage from Knock Off and is immune to Leech Seed while whittling Ferrothorn down with its own Knock Off. However, its sky-high Attack stat and strong Bloom Doom make it an offensive threat in its own right. Grassium Z, alongside Leaf Blade, gives Kartana a powerful nuke against Ground-types while also helping it revenge kill weakened, slower threats like Reuniclus and Mega Mawile. Knock Off cripples Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Celesteela, and Heatran by removing their Leftovers and punishing any attempts to pivot into Kartana. Synthesis gives Kartana the longevity to switch into Stealth Rock setters over the course of a game, as well as miscellaneous offensive Pokemon like Choice-locked Tapu Lele or Kartana, Tyranitar, or Mega Medicham's Ice Punch. Beast Boost can let it snowball late-game, giving it potential as a win condition. 128 Attack EVs let Kartana OHKO Z-Move Garchomp with Bloom Doom. HP investment lets Kartana play more freely as a Defogger and pivot into physical or resisted special hits more easily.

Kartana can use its numerous resistances and decent physical bulk to aggressively pivot into moves like Tapu Fini's Moonblast, Mega Medicham's Fake Out, and Tapu Lele's Psyshock and exert immediate pressure with the threat of its Z-Move and Knock Off crippling any switch-in. Overall, Kartana is usually played reactively in matchups where it needs to Defog against an opponent's entry hazard setter, but it can serve as a dangerous offensive threat in its own right when played aggressively and free of this restriction.

Team Options
========
Defog Kartana can be used on any team needing a check to Stealth Rock-setting Ground-types like Garchomp and Landorus-T. This makes it an ideal fit on Mega Charizard Y sun teams, where it can cover Mega Charizard Y's Stealth Rock weakness while getting a boost to its Synthesis healing. It is also able to switch into or force damage on some of Mega Charizard Y's common checks, including Chansey and Tyranitar. Some stall teams also appreciate its ability to reliably stop Garchomp from setting Stealth Rock, as well as its Speed tier and strength that help it double as a revenge killer against threats to stall like Mega Medicham and Manaphy.

Grassium Z alongside Leaf Blade gives Kartana a powerful nuke against these Ground-types, while also helping it revenge kill slower threats including Reuniclus and Mega Mawile after some chip damage. Rly important because it doesnt OHKO either of these examples otherwise Knock Off cripples Pokemon like Ferrothorn, Celesteela, and Heatran by removing their Leftovers and punishing any attempts to pivot into Kartana. Synthesis gives Kartana the longevity to switch into Stealth Rock setters over the course of a game, as well as miscellaneous offensive Pokemon like Choice-locked Tapu Lele or Kartana, Tyranitar, or Mega Medicham's Ice Punch. I think Beast Boost is honestly a reasonable mention to have somewhere here even if it's obvious as to what it does; snowballing after a Z-move lets this set be a win condition as well which is smth i've found to be really important about it in execution

Swords Dance can optionally be used instead of Defog to turn Kartana into more of a bulky win condition using its solid defensive typing, physical bulk, and Synthesis. However, Kartana almost always benefits from the crucial coverage in Sacred Sword or one of the assortment of its Z-Moves more. I get what you're trying to do here but I think it's important to make this sentence a bit clearer; like say something like "Swords Dance variants benefit much more from blablabla" so you don't give the wrong idea abt what moves to replace. In general though you can probably just omit this paragraph too especially if you opt to talk about Beast Boost since with how short it is, it looks really jarring

Set Details
========
128 Attack EVs let Kartana OHKO Z-Move Garchomp with Bloom Doom. HP investment lets Kartana play more freely as a Defogger and pivot into physical or resisted special hits more easily.

Usage Tips
========
Kartana can be switched directly into Ground-type Stealth Rock setters including Garchomp, Landorus-T, and Gliscor. It can play safely by Defogging any entry hazards or healing off any chip after it switches in, and force progress with Knock Off on any possible switch-ins afterward. Try not to blow the Z-Move too early unless the opponent is sure to stay in, as without its Z-Move Kartana becomes less of an immediate threat to these Pokemon. It can also use its numerous resistances and decent physical bulk to aggressively pivot into moves like Tapu Fini's Moonblast, Mega Medicham's Fake Out, or Tapu Lele's Psyshock and exert immediate pressure with the threat of its Z-Move and Knock Off crippling any switch-in. Overall, Kartana is usually played reactively in matchups where it needs to Defog against an opponent's entry hazard setter, but can serve as a dangerous offensive threat in its own right when played aggressively and free of this restriction.

Really appreciate the effort here but I don't think this is entirely necessary considering you roughly discuss these usage tips in the overview. You are more than welcome to implement several of these into the above though; in particular I would implore you mention the aggressive pivots you can more liberally accomplish with this set
