[SET COMMENTS]
Dragonite is a threatening set up sweeper with its high Attack stat, colorful movepool, and good bulk in tandem with Multiscale to further support it. The aforementioned enables Dragonite to set up in front of revenge killers, such as Mega Diancie, Iron Valiant, and Mega Medicham. Dual Wingbeat provides good STAB for Dragonite, while Outrage with Dragonium Z gives Dragonite an immediate and powerful STAB that eliminates would-be checks like Landorus-T and Mega Tyranitar. Earthquake hits Pokemon like Heatran, Toxapex, and Mega Tyranitar. Ice Spinner let's Dragonite to heavily damage Gliscor, Landorus, and Zapdos. Fire Punch hits Steel-types that would check Dragonite like Ferrothorn and Mega Scizor for major damage. Tera Steel allows Dragonite to setup on Pokemon that otherwise threaten it, such as Weavile and Tapu Lele, and provide a Toxic immunity. Heavy Duty Boots prevents Dragonite from deactivating it's Multiscale from entry hazards. Dragonite plays a role as a set up sweeper on offensive teams, where Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Tapu Lele, Mega Lopunny, and Mega Diancie appreciate Dragonite’s ability to wear down or straight up remove the bulkier Pokemon like Heatran, Alomomola, and Iron Crown, respectively, so they can clean up after Dragonite. Dragonite utilizes its solid defensive utility with its typing to check Pokemon like Ogerpon-Wellspring and Rillaboom to benefit offensive teams in return. Dragonite also appreciates hazard support to weaken potential checks based on its coverage, such as Mega Scizor and Landorus-T, so Pokemon like Heatran, Gliscor, Hisuian Samurott, and Landorus-T pair well with it as well. Dragonite also fits well on Hyper Offensive teams with dual screens support from Tapu Koko or Grimmsnarl, where it can safely set up multiple Dragon Dances to lower the risk of being revenge killed by Pokemon like Iron Boulder, Tapu Lele, and Iron Valiant.
