Mega Charizard X is a fearsome sweeper thanks to its good stats and strong ability in Tough Claws. It’s good into foes like Ferrothorn and Corviknight and can muscle through even sturdy targets hit for neutral damage such as Ting-Lu and Rotom-W. It also has a niche as a physical attacker that’s immune to burn from Flame Body and Will-O-Wisp users such as Moltres and Rotom-W, allowing it to circumvent a good way to beat physical attackers. Earthquake allows it to hit Pokemon resistant to Flare Blitz like Heatran, Garganacl, and Toxapex. Dragon Claw is an option on teams that do not need Mega Charizard X’s defensive utility as much, as it allows Charizard to hit Dragonite, Rotom-W, and Alomomola. Roost is another option that can be used to provide Mega Charizard X with longevity throughout a battle, helping it heal from Flare Blitz recoil and entry hazard damage and allowing it to set up on Pokemon like Tapu Koko, Volcarona, and Clefable as well as threaten to wallbreak multiple times in a game. Ogerpon-W appreciates Mega Charizard X’s ability to pressure its checks like Ferrothorn and Dragonite and can wear down checks to Mega Charizard X like Alomomola and Toxapex. Pokemon like Hawlucha and Iron Boulder are good partners for Mega Charizard X, as they can chip down shared checks such as Landorus-T and Alomomola. Mega Charizard X hates taking damage from Stealth Rock, so Taunt leads like Grimmsnarl, Landorus-T, and Tapu Koko are appreciated. Grimmsnarl and Tapu Koko also set up dual screens, allowing Mega Charizard X to offset its mediocre bulk and set up much easier.

Mega Charizard X is a fearsome sweeper thanks to its good stats and strong ability in Tough Claws. (you could give more info here as it's a relatively short analysis. for example, you can mention it hits ferro and corvi, and can muscle through stuff like clef. also it has niche that it's a physical attacker that's immune to burn) Earthquake allows it to hit Pokemon resistant to Flare Blitz like Heatran, Garganacl, Toxapex, and Raging Bolt. Roost can be used to provide Mega Charizard X with longevity throughout a battle (mention recoil from flare blitz and hazard damage), allowing it to setup on Pokemon like Tapu Koko, Volcarona, and non-Toxic Alomomola as well as threaten to wallbreak multiple times in a game. Dragon Claw is an option on more offensive teams that do not need Mega Charizard X’s defensive utility as much (it beats dnite, washtom, and helps with alomomola). Ogerpon-W appreciates Mega Charizard X’s ability to pressure its checks like Ferrothorn and Tera Dragon Gliscor and Alomomola if Dragon Claw is being used (not sure how i feel about alomo if it's non dclaw variants alone, but you can add that they both wear down stuff like alomo and pex easily). Pokemon like Zamazenta and Iron Boulder are good partners for Mega Charizard X as they can chip down shared checks such as Landorus-T and Alomomola. Mega Charizard X hates taking damage from Stealth Rock so entry hazard removers such as Great Tusk, Landorus-T, and Gliscor (I'd probably only put lando here since xard is mainly on HOs where you don't see tusk and gliscor. a better way to deal with hazards for xard might be taunt on leads like grimmsnarl and koko).

- Roost / Dragon Claw Switch the order of moves here. Sure roost has a niche but you are almost ALWAYS running xard on some Ho so the longevity from roost often times isn’t necessary despite being useful

Mega Charizard X is a fearsome sweeper thanks to its good stats and strong ability in Tough Claws. It’s good into foes like Ferrothorn and Corviknight added a space here and can muscle through even Unaware Clefable sturdy targets hit for neutral damage such as Ting-Lu and Rotom-W is beating unaclef really a selling point to xard. It also has a niche being a physical attacker that’s immune to burn from Flame Body and Will-O-Wisp users such as Rotom-W and Moltres, allowing it to circumvent a good way to beat physical attackers. Earthquake allows it to hit Pokemon resistant to Flare Blitz like Heatran, Garganacl, and Toxapex, and Raging Bolt you have dclaw in the main slot now anyways so this is kinda redundant to say. [Roost is another option that can be used to provide Mega Charizard X with longevity throughout a battle, helping it heal off Flare Blitz recoil and entry hazard damage and allowing it to setup on Pokemon like Tapu Koko, Volcarona, and non-Toxic Alomomola Clefable non toxic Mola is quite bad 99% of the time as well as threaten to wallbreak multiple times in a game] [Dragon Claw is an option on more offensive this implies xard can be used on non ho teams that do not need Mega Charizard X’s defensive utility as much, as it allows Charizard to hit Dragonite, Rotom-W, and Alomomola. ] switch the sentences in brackets for the move swap Ogerpon-W appreciates Mega Charizard X’s ability to pressure its checks like Ferrothorn and Dragonite if Dragon Claw is being used, and both of them can wear down checks to Mega Charizard X like Alomomola and Toxapex. Pokemon like Zamazenta Hawlucha idk abt Zamazenta on Ho… and Iron Boulder are good partners for Mega Charizard X as they can chip down shared checks such as Landorus-T and Alomomola. Mega Charizard X hates taking damage from Stealth Rock, so entry hazard removers such as Landorus-T, as well as you don’t need hazard removal on more offensive structures most of the time Taunt leads like Grimmsnarl, Landorus-T, and Tapu Koko are appreciated. Grimmsnarl and Tapu Koko also set up dual screens, allowing Mega Charizard X to offset its only ok bulk and setup much easier. screens are super important to mention due to xard having… just ok bulk and being an Ho mon
