Cresselia @ Covert Cloak / Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk
Tera Type: Poison
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Stored Power
- Moonblast / Hidden Power Fighting
- Moonlight

You'll be over the moon sweeping with Cresselia! Great natural bulk, Moonlight, and STAB on Stored Power make Cresselia a dangerous Calm Mind sweeper. Maximum Speed ensures slower attackers like Mega Gyarados and Mega Scizor can't chase it out in complete safety. Moonblast and Hidden Power Fighting both aim to remove troublesome foes that resist Stored Power; Moonblast is stronger, while Hidden Power Fighting smacks key targets like Kingambit, Heatran, and Ferrothorn super effectively. Covert Cloak shuts down Scald burns and Garganacl's Salt Cure, while Leftovers provides general longevity. Tera Poison provides excellent defensive utility, as it removes Cresselia's Dark weakness, blocks Toxic, and synergizes very well with Levitate. Cresselia's biggest issue is that it lacks instant damage output, requiring multiple Calm Mind boosts to be threatening; as such, entry hazard support from the likes of Skarmory is recommended to wear foes down beforehand. Cresselia is also forced to Terastallize against targets with Toxic, so scouting with teammates like Gliscor and Garganacl is useful.

mention stuff like scald burn under cloak, that extra chip is scary long term. pivoting mention is a bit eh considering the teams u see it on are bulkier stuff, prob mention spikes / hazard support (skarm) there instead as cress likes those to wear stuff down before it wins lategame and prob change ferro mention to glisc in status absorbers

1/1 after that
