[OVERVIEW]
Crawdaunt is one of BDSP OU's most threatening wallbreakers, capable of simply OHKOing foes with its powerful, Adaptability-boosted STAB attacks. Very few Pokemon can comfortably switch into Crabhammer of Knock Off, and Crawdaunt excels at forcing the opponent into a situation where they are forced to sacrifice. Crawdaunt also has access to priority in Aqua Jet and important coverage in Sludge Bomb, making it a dastardly difficult Pokemon to face. However, its bulk leaves a lot to be desired, and this is only compounded by its incredibly low Speed, leaving it easily revenge killed by common foes like Latios and Rotom-W. Furthermore, its low bulk and weakness to both U-turn and Volt Switch leave it with few switch in opportunities, making its powerful offensive profile deceivingly situational in practice.

[SET]
name: Life Orb Attacker
move 1: Crabhammer
move 2: Knock Off
move 3: Aqua Jet
move 4: Sludge Bomb / Swords Dance
item: Life Orb
ability: Adaptability
nature: Naughty / Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Crawdaunt's powerful STAB attacks are capable of forcing KOs, leaving the opponent with little breathing room. Aqua Jet is incredibly useful for picking off Pokemon like Garchomp and Gliscor once they are weakened while also preventing faster, physically frail Pokemon like Alakazam and Azelf from revenge killing Crawdaunt. Sludge Bomb is used to hit Tangrowth hard, one of Crawdaunt's more consistent switch-ins, while also hitting Breloom super effectively. Swords Dance can be used instead to turn Crawdaunt into an even more powerful wallbreaker that is capable of cleaning through teams with +2 Aqua Jet; however, dropping Sludge Bomb leaves Crawdaunt unable to break through Tangrowth.

Crawdaunt excels on offensively-leaning teams that appreciate its ability to power through opposing walls. Due to its low bulk, pivot support from Gliscor, Scizor, and Rotom-W is essential for getting Crawdaunt onto the field safely on Pokemon it forces out like Heatran, Gliscor, and Blissey. Gliscor helpfully deals with Rotom-W, while Scizor can take on the special wallbreakers that Crawdaunt invites in like Latios. Stealth Rock from Heatran and Jirachi is appreciated for wearing down the few physically defensive walls that can switch into Crawdaunt while chipping foes into range of a Crawdaunt Aqua Jet sweep. Heatran helps pressure the Grass-types like Tangrowth and Breloom that give Crawdaunt trouble, while Jirachi effectively takes on Latios and Starmie and provides speed control with Thunder Wave, shoring up Crawdaunt's mediocre Speed. Pairing Crawdaunt with other wallbreakers like Infernape, Latios, and Garchomp is a great idea, as they all appreciate Crawdaunt picking up KOs on the walls they struggle to break through like Skarmory, Scizor, and Clefable. Breloom is another wallbreaker that pairs well with Crawdaunt, as it appreciates Crawdaunt luring Tangrowth with Sludge Bomb.

[SET]
name: Choice Band
move 1: Crabhammer
move 2: Knock Off
move 3: Aqua Jet
move 4: Crunch
item: Choice Band
ability: Adaptability
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
When equipped with a Choice Band, Crawdaunt trades its sweeping potential for a more immediately terrifying offensive presence. Aqua Jet is helpful for picking off weakened foes like Garchomp while demolishing faster, frailer threats like Weavile and Mamoswine. Crunch hits itemless Tangrowth harder than Knock Off, which is especially important if Stealth Rock or Spikes is up; it also gives Crawdaunt a stronger hit on Pokemon that have had their items removed by its Knock Off.

Choice Band Crawdaunt fits best on offense teams that need bulky foes weakened or outright eliminated that can bring it in with solid pivot support. Entry hazards from Garchomp, Roserade, and Skarmory are essential, as they can allow Crawdaunt to break through Tangrowth, its main counter. Wallbreakers like Breloom, Dragonite, Alakazam, and Latios all appreciate Crawdaunt's raw power and ability to burst through walls while, in turn, weakening Pokemon like Clefable and Tangrowth for Crawdaunt. Perhaps most importantly, Crawdaunt requires consistent pivot support from Pokemon like Scizor, Gliscor, Infernape, and Azelf to get onto the field safely.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
================
Crawdaunt can use Dragon Dance in place of Swords Dance to boost its Speed, notably outpacing Pokemon like Garchomp and Lucario; however, Aqua Jet is usually sufficient for breaking through faster foes, and +1 Crawdaunt is still outsped by Pokemon like Latios and Starmie.

Checks and Counters
================
**Revenge Killers**: Faster Pokemon like Latios and Starmie resist Aqua Jet and KO Crawdaunt with their strong special attacks. Priority users like Dragonite and Infernape outspeed Crawdaunt and KO it with Extreme Speed or Mach Punch, respectively

**Grass-types**: Tangrowth is the clear-cut most consistent answer to Crawdaunt, particularly its Choice Band set, as it can switch into any of its attacks bar Sludge Bomb and force it out with Giga Drain. Roserade can switch into Crawdaunt's Water-type attacks and Sludge Bomb, but is decimated by Knock Off. Breloom cannot directly switch into Crawdaunt due to its poor bulk, but it easily revenge kills it with Mach Punch or Bullet Seed.

**Electric-types**: Rotom-W and Rotom-C outspeed Crawdaunt, resist Aqua Jet, and KO it with Volt Switch. Magnezone and Raikou can both revenge kill Crawdaunt; however, they take much more chip from Aqua Jet than the former two.

Very few Pokemon can comfortably switch into Crabhammer ofr Knock Off, and Crawdaunt excels at forcing the opponent into a situation where they are forced to sacrifice a Pokemon with the right prediction or smtg of the kind idk just word it to say that daunt has to click the right move ie not crab hammer-ing into a tom. Crawdaunt also has access to priority in Aqua Jet and important coverage in Sludge Bomb, making it a dastardly difficult Pokemon to face say how jet shores up its offensive mu and sludge breaks its best checks. However, its bulk leaves a lot to be desired, and this is only compounded by its incredibly low Speed, leaving it easily revenge killed by common foes like Latios and Rotom-W mention its overreliance on priority here asw. Furthermore, its low bulk and weakness to both U-turn and Volt Switch leave it with few switch in opportunities, making its powerful offensive profile deceivingly situational in practice.

Crawdaunt's powerful STAB attacks are capable of forcing KOs, leaving the opponent with little breathing room. Aqua Jet is incredibly useful for picking off Pokemon like Garchomp and Gliscor once they are weakened mention how it prevents stuff like and zam from rking u. Sludge Bomb is used to hit Tangrowth hard, one of Crawdaunt's more consistent switch-ins mention that it hits loom too, and on tang rlky focus on the fact that with sludge u get to break tang, w/o it u dont. Swords Dance can be used instead to turn Crawdaunt into an even more powerful wallbreaker that is capable of cleaning through weakened teams with +2 Aqua Jet.

Crawdaunt excels on offensively-leaning teams that appreciate its ability to power through opposing walls. When equipped with a Choice Band, Crawdaunt becomes an absolutely terrifying offensive behemoth that simply KOes any Pokemon not named Tangrowth not rlly true + reword imo this sounds rlly off place for an analysis. Aqua Jet is helpful for picking off weakened foes like Garchomp while demolishing faster, frailer threats like Weavile and Mamoswine. Crunch hits itemless Tangrowth harder than Knock Off, which is especially important if Stealth Rock or Spikes is up.mention that it also gives u a strong hit post koff on other mons as well

Choice Band Crawdaunt fits best on offense teams that need bulky foes weakened or outright eliminated and can brong it in with solid pivot support. Setup sweepers like Lucario, Azumarill, and Life Orb Swords Dance Scizor are excellent teammates that can capitalize on Crawdaunt denting the opposition while punishing Choice item revenge killers like Latios and Weavile. sd offzor and drum azu and sd luc + band daunt does not sound good brother, i get the idea but specifying setup sweepers is not the way, maybe just specific threats idk, but prolly just nuke this part. pivots pivots pivotsyeyeyyeey ape glisc sciz tom ye and what they pivot on that craw LOVES

**Clefable**: Clefable cannot directly switch into any of Crawdaunt's attacks besides Knock Off; however, it is very capable of forcing out Crawdaunt's Swords Dance set with Moonblast. this seems a bit out of place esp since clef needs to be abive 90% to actually beat it 1v1, and be max def, and even then it rarely ever wants to lose 90% of its hp, also u can apply this to a lot of mons honestly not just clef, a fuck ton of stuff can 1v1 it idt its rlly that worth of a mention tbh, also feels like its kinda falling under revenge killer part

Overview >

Change Latios into Latias

I feel the Overview has more downsides than the positives this Pokemon has making you feel like its often not worth using. It is and its one of the best pokemons at what it does so if we could add more benefits and calcs aswell as the intense breaking power this pokemon has over some negatives that would be abit better i feel.

Set 1 > Choice Band

Life Orb will be mentioned below Choice Band set. Its not as good as CB currently, tangrowth sees less usage and competition vs Celebi which is a good thing for Daunt but even then CB Knock 2koes it with rocks down.

In the Life orb set that currently u have as Set 1, wherever it says Latios should be changed to Latias there too.

I like alot the partners u have mentioned for LO Crawdaunt, include pivoting Celebi too and its benefits vs bulky steels and resistances it provides vs waters and fighting types that can annoy daunt.

Set 2 > Life Orb

Here replace the Choice Band set, put it as Set 1 and the things we talked above for LO set drop em here as the second one.

For the Choice Band set next to Crunch have slashed Switcheroo giving it incredile utility vs setups and general threats like Starmie, Tangrowth, Celebi, Clef and Rotom instead of tryin to predict when not needed em aswell as unlock your priority for general utility when u gonna need it.

name: Choice Band
move 1: Crabhammer
move 2: Knock Off
move 3: Aqua Jet
move 4: Crunch / Switcheroo
item: Choice Band
ability: Adaptability
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Other Options > When u talk about DD mention u want Jolly nature there with aqua jet still in the set, also replace Latios :D

Also mention the Focus Sash lead set. Focus Sash crawdaunt is one of the deadliest leads you can use, often trading 2 pokes for 1 with its unexpected item surviving and without a risk clickin buttons vs opponents who havent seen it b4. Its an insanely powerful set honestly worth being a set on its own but it hasnt seen that much usage outside of our team in BDSP Premier League so makes sense to be in other options.

Great analysis, with the changes i talked above and u switching Life orb for Choice Band as the Set 1 im gonna be giving the 2nd QC for this analysis!
